Madam De Leon

I played around with the idea of doing some sort of timeline---even checked out the online software---but you are correct---it turned into a very time consuming undertaking.

all the extra rabbit trails we follow----the many tangents intersecting with Heidi makes keeping it all concise next to impossible

I started on these threads way back in #3 or #4---I spent and entire week just reading the few preceding threads. Now at 15 threads and growing can you imagine the time it would take to get through everything.

Even trying to read the blogs is a huge undertaking. While doing research on a blog post I went back and read the entire Kimkins Exposed blog---that took several days just for that and I had read most of it before.

The about.com site is the closest we can get to cliff notes on this. That's why that link was given as a reference point.

Actually, the lawsuit isn't about whether or not her plan works, it's about the fraud.

So i'm sure personal responsibility will come into question, I would assume? It is afterall a forum with suggestions, no one is making anyone do anything. Altho I do agree people were scammed, I'm just looking at this from a different point of view. Has anyone thought of filing a case against Women's World?
Kimmer started telling people to check with their doctor when the Spam started hitting the fan. She's done a lot of CYA moves since the truth came out.

Actually, yes it's been discussed, quite a while ago. I think the consensus was that WW would be very hard to go after. They were deceived by Heidi just as we all were. Now if there were any proof they knew they were printing lies and fraud, it would be a different story.

I think WW should have printed it in their retraction.

Wouldn't it be cool if there was CLIFF note software somewhere and you could send an entire block of work to it and get it to spit out a synopsis

I think people can get the gist of what has transpired by reading a few of the select blogs and by skimming the FWK threads.

Again, time is time. If you can take the time to sit and post, you can speed read several pages in that same amount of time.

One final point. Have you noticed that most of our fly-by or newbies that cause such a ruckus from time to time, are rarely adding anything of value to the actual discussion of how to stop Hidey Diaz from her nefarious deeds?

Anyone who does come in and starts off on the right foot, (and I can think of a few, such as MrsMenopause, Nady, Mrs Steve and others) who came in, looked around, gave a friendly How De Do and made themselves at home, reading and catching up as they had time. Not demanding to be brought up to speed because "they don't have time" and asking a hundred questions that have been asked a hundred other times in the same tenor.

Sorry, but IMO, if you're that interested you will make time.

Having said that, if you, Little Miss, want to start over again on a less challenging note, we might give ya the benefit of the doubt. The ducks can be quite forgiving folks when we want to be
Although it's not really a detailed overview, my blog explains a lot of the basics.

Little Miss, I think it was your comment about having to skip over irrelevant posts and photos, and making reference to us being "mean spirited" that put a lot of people off. You came in with a tone that a lot of troublemakers come in with. If you want to join in and help us battle the Kimkins machine,

Yes, I agree Jeanessa and I think it fits with her alleged "threatening phone calls". Attention seeking much there, SL?

Someone may have given you this already but this is what comes up if you click the properties of the link that LittleSina gave- members.aol.com/princkeric/singing.html
of course add the "http://" but I didn't want it to make a link.
Is this your opinion on how you think she has been treated or you have this quoted from Bonnie as her opinion of her treatment?

Great find there 2big!

That is true Amy.
So this can be viewed a few different ways and all of them add up to deceptive business practices.
It could be that MCD doesn't have that many members and that Bonnie has been deceptive in her statements and charging of members. I say this based on the fact that it was stated that the first 200 members were free. So one scenario is she really doesn't have 200 plus members, but only a handful, so the lack of activity is coming from the low numbers.
OR
There is another board that is in operation that only certain members have access, which to me would not be fair to the other paying members. I know that is not your situation Amy and many others, but it is the situation of some members who did pay.
OR
They were all sock puppets before except for a handful of real members. This could be done to appear to be more successful than she really was with the site or done to just keep the website going as a front for more.

Just some options and I say this without knowing for sure. When Bonnie has been asked where is everyone she has said that some people may not be that familiar with forums. Sounds like the "I'm Shy" excuse of Kimmer. Bonnie has also acted as if there is nothing wrong at all with only the few posts and members that have been around -after- the "update".

Maybe that was precisely why. Amyb has said she was not clear as to why Kimmer banned her. Then it could be that she was banned and given a membership to MCD in hopes that AmyB would become active at MCD, thus drawing members from the floundering Kimkins site. This would allow for a smooth transition to the MCD site, since AmyB was a very supportive member at KK, without it appearing so obvious. Just one way to get everyone united is to be the bad guy. Coaches do it to unite a team.
But it didn't work out that way.
Honey!! So good to see you back. I hope you and the family are feeling much better. I think your thoughts on Amy at MCD make a lot of sense. I didn't think of that. Good point!

Ok, just back from a trip to the Magic Kingdom I mean Magic Chicken sites, and there's something odd about Bonnie's pictures.

If you click on my picture it brings up a slide show, with a little blurb under it about her 100 lb moment, which supposedly took 5-1/2 months to accomplish.

First of all I couldn't help but notice that there is no 100 lb loss photo. It jumps from 223 lbs (75 lb loss) at 4 months to 181 (117 lb loss) at 7 months. If you were so excited about losing 100 lbs that you'd run outside and shout it to the world (front door and back door), don't you think that you'd also make sure you had a photo taken of yourself at that weight?

Moving right along suddenly her weight plummets an additional 50 lbs to 131 lbs, in the very next photo, which is taken only one month later, at the 8 month mark.

So... it took:

1 month to lose 27 lbs
2 months to lose 47 lbs
3 months to lose 67 lbs
4 months to lose 75 lbs (that's a loss of only 13 lbs that 4th month)
Then she loses from 223 to 181 (42 lbs) in 3 months - for an average of only 14 lbs per month
but requires only 1 month to lose an additional 50 lbs?!

We all know that weight loss does not speed up as you get closer to your goal- instead it becomes more difficult and slower.

What happened here? How did she suddenly manage to drop 50 lbs in a month after her original 27 lb/month loss slowed to 20 lbs per month, then finally slowing to 13-14 lbs per month for 4 months?!

Something is rotten there, and it's not just the nasty canned chicken.

I think that is just it AmyB, you surprised Heidi in your spirit of fighting back by joining the cause. Your blog has definitely spun her for a loop, hence the reason she attempted to use others and your family issues against you. She wants you to stop.
Heidi misjudged her control over you, as she has done many others, and things didn't go as planned.
Now, this doesn't mean MCD couldn't be Heidi. But Heidi can't say it is her, because who is going to run from the evil Heidi at one site into another site, if they know it is her? No one, so she has to be someone else, which isn't too hard with Heidi Diaz, the master of aliases.
I think Bonnie was running the MCD at one time and but not anymore.

BTW- AmyB I am glad you have been able to stick out you resolve against Heidi. I know that things had to be difficult for you at first, given the mind games she tries to play. But I am proud of you for believing in yourself and being strong.
I second that! You've done great AmyB!!
