Regarding the idea that anyone can post anything they like here:

Just as someone coming in saying things that could be taken as supportive of KK needs to realize that their postings are going to be ripped to shreds, and the collective is going to be suspicious of their intentions, anyone who posts things that could be taken as hateful or angry also needs to realize that what they're saying could put off someone who is genuinely interested in being helpful or curious about what's been going on, but has made the mistake of using wording that can be construed as pro-KK.

I"m not singling you out, Nady - this has happened a lot around here. I don't remember who's posted what though - good grief, I can barely remember what was posted on the previous page, much less who posted what a month or 2 months or 6 months ago.

I think some people confuse this one forum with the whole LCF BB. As I said in another post, this is the only thread that has these relaxed rules. Some of the members were banned from KK just because they posted an innocent comment here~ it's no wonder they're suspicious~ And for what it's worth, this was my 2nd. post to LM

I know that sounds rude, but honestly? This is like someone walking into an ongoing conversation between several long time friends at a cocktail party and suddenly interrupting with "Hey guys! So what have you all been talking about for the past couple hours? Can you give me a quick update?"

It kind of looks like this woman running the chicken diet, had gastric bypass and is now maybe trying to pass it off as her just being very strict. If that has already been said or talked about I apologize because obviously I am not a regular here so please don't pick apart and berate that too. It just seems kind of odd for a woman at her age to just say one day that all she is going to consume is chicken, im assuming that is why its called the magic chicken diet. Any thoughts?? Either way she changed her life for the better and from what I can see it is definately her going thru the transformation?

not that I am picking apart your post----but I do take offense, exception--to this

just because you hate being fat does not automatically mean everyone is wallowing in self hatred--you've made it quite clear all over this board you loathe being fat---would rather hide out from the world than be fat

I would appreciate you keeping those kind of self hatred characteristics to yourself and not direct them at the posters here---I can't speak for everyone in this thread but I do know quite a few---although many are deemed overweight or obese by societies standards certainly do not feel the need to "over compensate" nor do they feel their size matters if they are taken seriously or not

If you want to go thru every post I write, that is fine, but this is a FORUM to get off my chest what I can't in person. And believe it or not that is what people are doing when they interrogate and berate people on here. As you can see I have offered nothing but support and love in this forum to people who need it MOST. That is what a forum is for, support, tips, recipes. You are a sad human being to bring my back posts in to this and try to use that against me saying I hate myself. I do not care for my size as many of you don't or else why lose weight? I stand by what I said, it is true that many people feel that they can't be taken seriously in general society because of how they look. It's not an opinion its a fact.

I really don't have any idea how long it would take to read through all 15 threads, but I have to think it would be HOURS, if not days.

I don't think it's reasonable for someone to come in here and demand a blow by blow on everything that's happened since July, but a recap? Why not? Why is that rude? I thought part of the reason this thread existed was so that people could spread the word about the Kimkins scam and share information?

This is where a lot of people come to get the latest word on what's happening. Or to get information on what happened in the first place.

I know it's been suggested in the past, and I really think it's a good idea - why not have a recap sticky at the top of this forum? One that summarizes everything that's happened. It can be updated whenever there's something new.

I spend alot of time in the Century club forum--that's where the WLS support thread is if you must know---I have seen your posts there.

I do not need to say you hate yourself---you do that in your posts.


Instead of sitting here arguing with all of us--if you feel so strongly that society makes you feel less than human simply because of your size---why not do something about it. Become a social activist---fight against discrimination of every kind. Help erase racism, classism, sizism, and all the other isms.
