To all of you who think that some of are too harsh, mean, not "adult" enough for you or wasting our time or whatever, you are "preaching" to the wrong people."Its taking time away from your kids and/or family and/or excersizing and/or doing something useful"...then why are you here? How about going after someone who deserves it? Take a look at just a sampling of a few of these direct quote posts from Heidi from the "Ask Kimmer" thread here at LCF. I tried to find some similar posts at KK but it has been scrubbed cleaner than Mommie Dearest's bathroom. "Retin-A has been my best friend for 15 years!" "I want to be able to eat higher carb so I do lower calorie. My food choices tend to be pretty much the same every day: B - Yogurt or mini 'loaded' omelette, herbal tea S - Fruit (whatever I like, average portion or size) L - Lean protein & salad (like a fast food grilled chicken), lowfat dressing S - Protein salad (egg, tuna or chicken, I always have some made) D - Lean protein, veggies (as much as desired), fruit based dessert like a baked apple or diced fruit salad" "Cheat? No, I never do. Not because I'm a saint, but because I know it will trigger something BIG ... always has, probably always will. I find it easier to "just say no" "I look thin (even more so after the 14 day water fast challenge!) but not overly so. I think it's because I'm large boned? A friend of mine is Asian, just absolutely TINY! She gave me a pair of jeans she didn't want anymore (size 4) and they fit us the same ... except she looks like a wisp and I look "regular". "Actually, I'd rather be in the size 8 range, but haven't figured out a way to do that without eating stuff that will trigger me." "I lose differently than most people. 11 lbs overnight (water, I'm a sponge) 160 lbs total in 7 months Last 20 lbs over 2.5 months" "On my weekend water fasts now I lose 5-7 lbs, but I'm not in ketosis so that's 4 lbs of water which I regain when I start eating. I'm not fasting for weight loss. On my 45 day fast when I was 20, I lost 60-65 lbs, which I suppose sounds amazing although it didn't seem fast enough at the time!" "You're in the 300 lb range so I would anticipate 8-11 lbs a week. You might consider MoM, epsom salt or other laxative either full strength 2-3 times a week or a reduced amount daily. Are you diabetic?" "Your mention of prediabetes is very important. To avoid becoming diabetic is one of the reasons I promote rapid weight loss. I don't think enough people understand that once you become diabetic, you always are. You can manage with diet and/or meds, but you're never cured." Last edited by jo2621 : 03-26-2008 at 08:09 AM. |

Trying to scan some of this in order to keep my blood pressure down..
![]() There has been and IS much work going on trying to connect Bonnie and Heidi. The fact that they both lived at the same time in Corona and we can safely assume they were both overweight at the time, they may've struck up a friendship. Hard to say! Here are my theories...FWIW..on the possible Bonnie/Heidi connection 1. Bonnie Luper was a member at Kimkins who took money from Heidi in order to create a backup site for Kimkins which became the Magic Chicken Diet. 2. One of Bonnie's daughter(s) - we know she has at least one daughter Courtney - or DIL's, niece, or a good friend was a member at Kimkins and gave Bonnie the info she needed to start her own website. 3. Bonnie could be friends with a former Kimkins administrator who wanted to make some mega-bucks of her own and went into business with Bonnie. 4. Bonnie just heard about Kimkins, knew the potential for a diet website to take off, and decided to copy it on her own. Again, these are just THEORIES... But, whatever the connection between Heidi and Bonnie, assuming there is one, will be found. The Tragic Chicken Diet is every bit as dangerous as Kimkins. Check Mariasol's blog for the menu and see for yourself. I don't know how Bonnie can sleep at night. After all, the woman works in the insurance industry. Surely she MUST understand about liability. ![]()

Thank You!
Your words of welcome were so kind, the only thing missing was my 'welcome to the neighborhood basket of muffins!' Oops did I say that?
![]() As usual, you girls are on the money, there is something very familiar sounding about this most recent 'drive by.' I look forward to the sleuthing wonders of the "Duck-inators' as you guys unravel yet another pathetic attempt to distract! ![]() |

The one who created the MCD site was Eric Gerdes (a web designer) which I found on the Page View Info. (I know I mentioned this on a previous FWK thread.) Did anyone find out if there was a connection? Even if there wasn't, anyone who knows and understands HTML code can copy a website and change it to make it their own.

I looked and found a possible Bonnie "Pierce" Luper using the usual Public Search Records.
