The best update of recent events is at the lawsuit blog
Kimkinslawsuit’s Weblog

Singinglass was recently here under an alias, which was found by the admins and marked "aka Singinglass." (Read the previous 10 pages or so to find the details on that)

I am a mole.

I only come out when the Ducks stop talking about the MCD.

That way, they won't find out who I really am.

ETA: It's way past my bedtime. Hopefully, we'll be back to regularly scheduled programming in the morning. Goodnight.

Okay well I am a wizard, so I will turn you into a human, then turn myself back into a human and then none of us can be moles, so everyone can shut up about a fellow low carber being a mole!

Could be that they were next door neighbors at one time? Perhaps lived in the same building or apt complex?

Assuming Heidi EVER held down a job, perhaps they were co-workers?

I chose this moment to delurk because I wanted to tell you ladies that you totally rock! Your perseverence, determination, creativity and genuine quality makes this thread a fun read. I have been with LCF for a few years and yes I was here for some of the early Kimmer antics. I never took her self flagellating advice for weight loss seriously because I LOVE food much too much - that's why I practice ATKINS. Thank God!

In the ensuing years I have lost a few dress sizes and look and feel better than ever. That is why I am so encouraged by your fight, low carbing has done wonders for me and I would like others to know the wonders and advantageous of a 'balanced low carb life style.' Your efforts will help others to see the low carb benefit without all the nuttiness attached by an unqualified self appointed 'diet guru.' I tried to contribute to the cause and did a little weeding as suggested, but alas, my tenacity is not quite as strong as some of yours and I did not complete the contest. However I will continue to contribute as I can, maybe even post a little more, but you ladies are doing such a magnificent job of sleuthing that I would probably be more 'in the way' than beneficial.

Any way, just wanted to say to all you little duckies, thank you for remaining vigilant and please remain 'rubber duckies', allowing all the STUFF/DISTRACTIONS to just roll off your backs!
Don't put your own efforts down. Whatever you've been able to do is great. We all have different levels of contribution, based on our energies and sleuthing capabilities. Glad you delurked!

There is this interesting quote from Kimmer...see if you can spot what appears to be a "tall tale" in this post:

XXXXX - "I don't mind answering the same questions over and over. We all learn in different ways (visual, auditory, kinetic) and the concept of low carb isn't always clear because it's an expansion of counting calories, but some traditional low calorie diet foods are high carb and not allowed. This is a major point of confusion for some. But it's nice to to get a compliment . Recently we got a new member who remembered me from LCF where Kimkins was "born" and she wrote, "I'm glad to see you're still answering the same questions from 10 years ago." That made me smile."

November 29, 2006: I am still so amazed at how easy this all is. How the heck can it be that I'm not hungry, like what I eat, have no more cravings and mood swings, feel awesome and lose all that weight? Kimmer, is there some voodoo or magic that you're doing? Did you hack in our brains? Did we secretely get abducted one night and you are really an alien who does this "happy-experiemt" with us? OR IS IT THE GOVERNMENT??????? Whatever ... woman: you saved my life! Thank you!
To answer this question, yes. It was a combination of voodoo, magic, brain hacking, and she is an alien doing her happy experiment on people.

We have confirmation it is not the Government. Unless it is perhaps a foreign government that has it out for us.

Now, back to the magic chicken dance.

Great! Can I use you as my personal consultant for my blog? I could use some help (never did fix the table I posted a while back).

Singing Lass mentioned using Statcounter for her kasamba page. Could you check if it's the same one on her AOL?

Sorry, I've watched puppet after troll after mole after spy come in here and they all say the same things~ *You're so mean* *This is why people are put off* * I only asked an innocent question* *This forum is about weight loss* *We're suppose to be adults here* *You're just a bunch of haters*

Please save me~

And to answer your question, no~ I'm not having a bad day~ it's just that some things get old. Some ploys are overplayed.

You forgot "a witch hunt mentality". I agree, Nady, it does get tiring seeing the same phrases over and over and over again. I usually just ignore. The distractions are incredibly repetitive in their verbiage and always seem to happen around the MCD topic.

The term I have never understood well is "mean spirited", and that's a catch phrase that gets thrown at us too. I have yet to understand what is mean spirited about exposing a liar, a cheat, and a fraud. It would seem to me that we ought to be thought of as the "good guys" in this story, and I know some do, but some also think we're "mean spirited". Well, I gotta tell you, knowing that she is leading people into starvation, lied to us for years about herself, and got rich off her lies - all of this makes my spirit angry. I'm not mean, I'm angry, and there's a difference.
