The whole time I was at kk.. I was trying desperately to grasp this concept... but it was really hard to do when everything around me was all about numbers.
For someone who isn't even trying to accept themselves as they are.. I can't imagine how dangerous the "pressure to succeed" could be.

AmyB---have you added Biotin to your vitamin routine yet?? If not add that, copper and boron as well as plenty of coconut oil

because of my malnutrition from the WLS--I've had severe hair loss issues---not for not eating enough but not absorbing enough----those vitamins were recommended to me to help with hair skin and nails as well as iron and calcium absorption

thanks for the update--forgot that was to be today---she never shared the full extent of the surgery--but any surgery is difficult to heal from

That's where I'm coming from right now---I fell for the whole thin at any cost idea hook line and sinker---so I got myself gut whacked--all for the sake of being thin

it's ridiculous--and look what it has cost me---I was much healthier at nearly 400 lbs than I am now

our society puts too much pressure on women to be thin---that's why the incidence of ED's has risen so dramatically over the last 20 years and why you have 6 year olds complaining about being fat--and people who would rather lose a limb or be in jail than be fat-----just too sad

there are some good books out there dealing with self acceptance no matter your size---Jeanessa has a couple on her personal blog everyone needs to take a look at

Are you having a bad day? Your posts and replies today did sound kind of snarky. I remember reading a few days ago that you were going to quit because you felt left out and ignored....
You know ladies, I'm not trying to start trouble. I'm a member of the lawsuit and have been since the first day. I admire you for all of your hard work and determination to bring KK down and her puppets Tippy and Singing whatever she wants to be called. I bet you get tired with all of the questions and comments I appreciate you!! However, sometimes it's good to step back and realize sometimes the tone of our posts can come across in not the way you intended. Little Miss was just asking a question today.
I'm not sure why I'm even posting this. I guess I just felt bad after reading some replies to LM today.

I bet Heidi hated reading her kids books like The Hair Book. Now, yes I know that was mean. Before anyone wants to flog me, just keep in mind that I would NEVER make fun of people without hair, (just ask my DH!) but she's such a mean person, sometimes she brings the meanies out in me. Naw really I'm just sick of The Hair Book, due to having 2 preschool aged children. Amy, you talk all you want about your hair. I will listen.

What I meant when I said help people was not in the sense of helping them change their lives for the better, what I meant was when they came to her with a problem, she helped every single person (as in talk to them) understand why they were feeling the way they felt (ketosis wise) the symptoms, she had an answer for everything. Think more along the lines of customer service. You are taking one little thing and running with it hoping to justify your mean spiritedness. Quite sad.

If you're for real~ try to understand this~ she didn't help people~ she didn't want to help people. Yes, she had an answer for everything~ but did you ever consider that it was the wrong answer? She used people's weaknesses to manipulate them ~ read AmyB's blog~ She didn't 'feel' for them~ she used their hurt to scam them.

You haven't been reading these threads or you would 'get it'. Don't come here and sing her praises~ What's really quite sad is that you don't know who or what Heidi Diaz is.

She berated people if they wanted cream in their coffee, she said people were weak if they couldn't stick to her plan, she chided those having problems. It bordered on cruel. I think any appearance of helpfulness she may have been credited with in the past has been overshadowed by the incredible body of evidence against her character. And let's not forget her advice to chug milk of magnesia to relieve the constipation her starvation diet causes. All she did was teach people how to be anorexic. I see nothing good from any of her alleged helpfulness.

I said she gave "help" in the form of answering questions, I never, anywhere, said the answers she gave were right. I have sung no praises regarding kimkins or heidi diaz. I think what has happened here was alot of jumping to conclusions.
