I tried to contribute to the cause and did a little weeding as suggested, but alas, my tenacity is not quite as strong as some of yours and I did not complete the contest. However I will continue to contribute as I can, maybe even post a little more, but you ladies are doing such a magnificent job of sleuthing that I would probably be more 'in the way' than beneficial.

Any way, just wanted to say to all you little duckies, thank you for remaining vigilant and please remain 'rubber duckies', allowing all the STUFF/DISTRACTIONS to just roll off your backs!

None the less I did know the situation then, then is not now, as many of you know things change over time, you can also see that I have not posted in a kimkins forum in a very long time so do not know the current situation of things. I don't know if anyone gave you a straight answer on these questions yet, so here goes:

Could no one do anything ? Actually things are being done, which is the purpose of these threads that have gone on for 15 chapters. Yeah, it slips into silliness and way off topic from time to time.

She wasn't too hard to find, obviously that private eye had no problem? I have no idea how much difficulty the PI had finding her - but once the photos and video were made public, her lie was outed and the search was on to find where the red dress photo came from. We found just about all the success story photos too.

Isn't this classified as a scam of some sort? Definitely. There is a class action suit being pursued. She's been deposed twice. The judge just recently upheld the writ of attachment against her assets. It's not merely classified as a scam because of the fact that a morbidly obese woman with no medical background gave starvation diet advice to people that caused them a multitude of serious health problems, but because of the faked success stories, the success story photos stolen from Russian Bride sites, the banning of members from "lifetime memberships" with no refund, the long promised e-book that was nothing more than an e-mailed promotion of Kimkins, hiding her assets by buying a $400,000 house, paying the IRS a huge chunk of money (unsolicited)... and there's probably more... Which is why we're looking into things such as the photos supposedly showing her losing weight, since every last one of them appears to have been photoshopped extensively, and also why we're looking into another paid diet site called the Magic Chicken Diet, in which the menu plan looks extremely similar in calories and nutrient levels to KK.

I see you have nothing else to do besides snoop through my posts, sometimes I wonder... I know this doesn't seem to have anything to do with Heidi and KK, but the thing is, at this point it really does. We've had so many people come in and post random questions, objections to what we're doing here, or ask what's going on, etc, in an apparent attempt to distract us from what we're doing. The most recently revealed incident involved SingingLass, under a different screen name, directing us to her website (which I now see that you've seen), and asking leading questions about SL, so that we all thought she must have been someone new who just came out of lurkdom with some new info that should be looked into. We were fooled - the "AKA SingingLass" just appeared in her name when the admins put it there recently, after determining that the poster Little Sina had the exact same IP address as SL.

So forgive us if we view anyone new to these threads - or anyone who only seems to pop by occasionally - with suspicion. We're a bunch of ducks, and trying to discern truth from distraction. We've had a lot of distraction lately, and it seems to crop up the moment we start to delve into the Magic Chicken Diet. When you dropped by with what seemed like the standard type of post that is planted to distract us (I"m not accusing, just saying this is what it looked like), it just happened to coincide with us getting back into a discussion about MCD again.

I just wanted to know if she was prosecuted. Unfortunately, the wheels of justice turn very, very slowly. Right now, there is a class action lawsuit against her. She has been deposed twice. The lawsuit has not gone to trial yet. The class action will only result in removing the financial support of the KK website, which hopefully will shut it down for good. Criminal prosecution will very likely come later, since from what I understand, the California Attorney General's office is very, very interested in what's she's done that's been against their laws, as are the IRS, the FTC, Social Security and probably a few other governmental agencies that I can't remember right off hand.



To my fellow Ducks: Even if Heidi herself came in here under her Kimmer name and asked these questions, I think she'd still deserve a direct answer. You may not agree, but I don't have any problem with briefly explaining the facts of what's going on to someone, no matter who they are, because answering questions with facts is not agreeing with their views, or supporting views that may be at odds with our own. Whether or not we think they've been lurking around here long enough to know exactly what's going on is immaterial; it doesn't hurt to state the facts.

I heard from a great source that SL is just going on and on in her Journal about how much stress she has been under...oh please..opps..sorry. I feel like the queen of stress and SL sure enjoyed sticking that knife deeper and deeper on the harder days....so sorry SL..but I do not feel so sorry for you because you have to bring some meals to your DS while she is on bed rest. How about a simple...I am thankful she is home and still pg with a healthy baby. Nope...just poor SL.

I made the oopsie rolls! Fabulous!! But 'round' seems to be a relative term to me~ I definitely need those Wilton mini cake pans! Unfortunately, I can't find the post where Cleo tells about whether she uses the non-stick spray on them or whether she put them on a cookie sheet or just on the oven racks. If anyone remembers, please let me know~

Also, it crossed my mind that if I ever find the Hood milk, I could use those pans as 'flan' pans when I make the custard~
