I could tell you, but then... you know... I'd have to tickle you until you wee.

I will have a viable recipe this week. I am anal perfectionist, so I can't spill anything until I feel it's just right. I can tell you my kids are excited, and they are totally picky about cheesecake.

Yeah, I get you on the perfectionist thing. Makes you wonder how we got overweight, doesn't it?

Ok, I'll try the MS recipe and let you know how it goes, and I'll be waiting on the edge of my seat for you to post yours. I got a Junior's Cheesecake cookbook with lots of different recipes I think I can adapt to LC.

I was wondering the same thing. After I lost the weight she's lost, I had plenty of loose fitting tops. I can't understand why she's wearing skin tight clothes.

You know, there is an old phrase..."Some people have their own sense of reality".

Very true and some people more then others.
Yes, that's what I posted this morning. I want to see a profile shot so we can see how big the shelf is on that booty.

You don't drink Calorie Countdown, but it's wonderful in custard!

Nady, I buy it at the local supermarket that's affiliated with Kroger. If you can't get it at Wal Mart, maybe you can see if you have Kroger affliliates there. Or as someone said, use 1/2 cream, 1/2 water or half and half.

Nady, our discussion made me hungry for custard, so I made some. It's in the oven, and I know what's for breakfast tomorrow!

Also I wonder about the 58 pounds she said she on lost on WW @ KK today because on Sept 24, 2004 she posted here @ LCF:

"I gradually regained the weight because I was eating more carbs (not candy & chips, but potatoes, pastries, coffee w/ sugar & cream). A coworker was doing Weight Watchers and it looked fun (and organized!) so I tried it. The carbs were too high and I was only losing 1-2 pounds a week. Compared to how I lost previously on low/no carb, this was WAY too slow! I was also hungry constantly because of the high carbs. So, I changed the "exchanges" from bread and fruit to protein and began losing 5-6 pounds a week. I wasn't able to finish all the "exchanges" because of ketosis/loss of appetite. I lost 88 pounds and quit meetings because I felt like a hypocrite when the leader would ask me to share with the group how I lost so much each week.

I gradually regained the weight over 2 years after my little brother died in a horrible hospital accident. I didn't "pig out" but I wasn't careful about choices. My priority wasn't on weight loss. Incidentally, my little brother was Type 1 diabetic. He was 6'1" and 135 pounds, a virtual skeleton. He often refused to inject his insulin, ate like a horse, lost vast amounts of body fat. This is what absolutely convinced me of low carbing. In the absence of insulin (what we try to accomplish by restricting carbs), the body will not hold onto body fat."
Not sure on how many siblings, but that sure doesn't sound much like a horrible hospital accident. I'll have to go back and read - I think it was in the last set of court docs, or maybe the depo stuff that John just released ...

Thanks! I think I might just go the 1/2 & 1/2 route~ already have it anyway!

We have Fry's here but they're a Kroger affiliate~ they didn't have anything even close when I went there today~ Maybe I just need to look around a bit~ Safeway?? otherwise I will use the cream/water mix~

Thanks for the help~ now that it seems to be a bit difficult, I'm really craving the custard~ isn't that how it goes? when you can't have something, it just gets more desirable?

PS - Thanks to Kimmer for checking in. You gave me a few kind but blunt reality checks when I first got started and your WOE has changed my life."

Kimmer:
[b][i]"XXXX, sorry about being so "blunt". What I'm thinking isn't always what gets typed. I've been working hard to try and write the way I'm thinking. If I write sternly, I'm not thinking sternly. I have so much compassion for everyone in the obesity fight. Most of my working life, I've worked with technical people and editing their words (reports, memos, proposals). Incidentally, it's hard to edit stuff that you don't understand! Their language tends to be dry and concise which I adopted ... and now I'm working to get past it, LOL.
OMG! OMG! Help me, someone! I'm gonna faint! I wrote almost that exact same thing over on the ALC forum once, when someone accused me of being "snarky" and "terse"! I was trained as a technical writer in the aerospace industry, and my writing style does tend to be brief and to the point.

But ha, ha, Heidi! Unlike you, a lying liar who lies, I understood every single word the engineers wrote!

It might taste a bit like flan, but you wouldn't get that affect of flan with the caramel being on top. But it may be a bit reminiscent of flan. I'd be careful about adding a liquid sweetener unless you reduce the amount of half and half by the same amount. With too much liquid, you might have trouble getting it to set up.

Maybe just pour a little syrup on the top before I eat it~ (and a squirt of whipped cream!!) :sigh: I'll probably dream about custard and flan tonight.

"Low Crabs"

What? You itch so much that you can't eat?

Why pay Heidi $79.95?

You could pick that up for free at a bus station.

Oh Jo! Please have mercy. I was reading this at work and I laughed out loud!

Amy-- I live near the mountains, not the beach, but I have the oopsies and pizzas!

Someone asked me to ship oopsies once, but I don't know if they'd make the trip well. They'd have to be overnighted, and that would cost more than they're worth for the timespan in which they need to be eaten. The pizza would rock if they could be shipped frozen. That would be a hoot!

Whatthe?

She was the one who directed us to the performance pictures of SL (to include cracks about Heidi and the Capt Morgan in the flask) and she is the one who asked if we had explored family connections between Heidi and SL

Avi could be a picture of one of those kids she always says she is babysitting
