Just peeking in and catching up after an eventful week and weekend!

Jeanessa, thank you for your wonderful blog. There are so many behind the scenes ducks, it's just amazing isn't it, what a team we have all become, each contributing their own things in their own way.

Linc, (I haven't read all the posts yet) but if you can't find Honeybee, I do a lot of stuff undercover too. I'm pretty quiet about it, but do send things to John. PM me if you want.

Back to reading....

"No one could make a greater mistake

(Edmund Burke)

If we all "do only a little", imagine the progress if you look at all those "little" efforts combined.

If we each hadn't done our little part along the way, we wouldn't be nearly this close to achieving our goal.

Please don't ever think "Oh, I can't do much, so why should I bother?" Where would we be if Jeanessa had said that? If Paula Jayne and so many others had said that?

Even if you aren't the one who found the red dress Kimmer; each of us here still can make contributions. So what if you aren't an anti-kk blogger; each post here has furthered the thread, hasn't it? So you don't consider yourself a "duck"; by being here, reading and posting, you are supporting the ducks. Each time you give someone an "atta girl" or encourage someone when they have shared something they found with the list; you are helping to ensure that such searches continue. So what if you can only pull one little "weed"; just imagine how many other "weeds" that small act has prevented from popping up elsewhere? Even if you only write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper, or send an email with a few links to your local news station; stand back and look at the ripple effect you are creating. KTLA started it, FOX followed up on it, GMA joined in, and I don't believe we've seen the end of it yet.

Every "little" thing done along the way has contributed to where we are today.

So, if you look at that list that John sent out, maybe you don't have everything on it, but maybe you have one "little" piece of the puzzle. Send it to John. Don't think someone else is going to send it. YOU send it. Did you write an email to Kimkins to complain about being banned? or to express your concerns about your hair falling out? If so, send it to John. Did you save a comment Heidi made about laxatives? Send it to John.

We can help John put this puzzle together, one "little" piece at a time. If something doesn't "feel" or "look" right to you, speak out. Post it here. If Paula Jayne hadn't done that 15 threads ago, what would we be reading today?

I can't take Kimkins down by myself, and neither can you. I can only do a little; but combined with the little that you can do, and the little that each of us can do; TOGETHER we can make a difference in this fight.

Remember that even if it is only a "little"; it is still a much needed part of the big picture. Don't discount your part in all this. Don't be discouraged because you can "only do a little". Every little bit helps! Every little bit is appreciated, even if no one comes out directly to offer you a pat on the back for what you've done; even if what you did wasn't something you shared with the list here; even if no one may have seen you do it; we still appreciate your efforts. Thank you for being a part of the team!

Thank you to EVERYONE who has not been afraid to "only do a little".

Happy Easter, Everyone!
Excellent post!! And Happy Easter to all (kind of late I know...all the candy eggs are already gone from here )

Just so long as you don't accuse me of being a "smirking gazelle" we'll be OK!

And, LC4me, in case you were wondering, yes, it is TOO LATE to take that back!

I have to share a BIG Thank You to Bama Girl. She has spent Hours and I do mean Hours trying to help me with my blog. She has sent me 15 plus e-mails in the past three days alone with codes and what to put where...Then when I still mess it up....she re sends me the directions. she even told me she would not block my e-mails. Wow she is a sucker for punishment.
So if you get a chance...stop by the bog and check out Bama's handy work on my " Who is Amy B page"/ It only took 4 days to add those pics..lol
Thanks Bama Girl...I would rename the blog to Amy B and Bama Girl BUT you would have to tell me how. So for now I will just say Thank You.

Custard

4 eggs
2 cups Hood Calorie Countdown milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
¼ cup sweetener (sweetener of choice equivalent to 1/4 cup of sugar)
¼ tsp. nutmeg

Whisk together and strain

Pour into ramekins

Bake for 35 – 45 minutes in a 1 inch water bath @ 300 degrees

They are done when you are able to insert a knife into the center and it comes out clean. They should be set up when they come out of the oven (not jiggling in center), but don't bake them any longer than absolutely necessary. If you like it extra creamy, use 1/4 cup heavy cream and reduce amount of Calorie Countdown to 1 3/4 cups.

This is a great way to eat eggs when you are sick of eating eggs!

I use oopsies for bread crumbs, too (and for the crust of the cheesecake I made today)! They have myriad purposes. Someone called them the 'duct tape' of low carb foods. LOL

Trista.
I had to laugh today. I had the computer on and LCF was on screen. My DH walked by and saw your avatar. He said ...the two of you sorta look alike. I said who? He said you and this girl..and it was you.
So maybe Elvis is my daddy too..lol
Now just a thought...since Heidi has a BIG issue with me and OUR relationship. Maybe she thinks we are the same person. That would be fun or maybe scary to see her figure out.
Just thought you would enjoy my DH comment.

I'm not even sure I should be writing you.... Heidi might think I'm talking to myself! You know I had NO idea that she had issues about us. Was it because of that banner for Philip?

I always wanted a sister! Looks like daddy really got around!
Only one thing wrong with your hubby's comment. I DON"T want to be the "fat sister".

You are not fat...hush...Hey you have the better hair...I have hair issues...if you did not know that...it is because I was NOT allowed to mention it. But I HAVE HAIR ISSUES. Did you get that?
A bumper sticker comes to mind. I may be fat but I have hair. No ...I am not saying you are fat...
Come to think of it...I know you are not fat..silly..I have seen your pictures.
Have a great day sis.

Another lurker here... NEW PICS UP ON THE KK SITE!

Can't pick on her neck this time. She hid it behind the camera. What's with this new pose?

It's a close up shot too so you can't see if she's lost anything. Coincidence? I think not.

You ducks rock and yes, even us lurkers are drooling over Cleo's Oopsie rolls. I'm dying to try them!

Keep up the good work everyone!

p.s. Nady, your pepper pic made me LOL! <blush>

{{{catz}}} Thank you so much! You rule. Look at you! You are beautiful!

I'm down 7 pounds this week from last week, so it had to all be in my eyeballs. Like Heidi's after she's done cropping everything else and there's so much pixelation you'd think you were looking at Napoleon's diddle.

I'm surprised she didn't take her picture against a red backdrop so you couldn't really tell where she ends and the wall begins.

Oh and Cleo, yer my new BFF. Congrats on those 7 pounds!!!!! You're doing great!

What's the deal?

Okay what's the deal with taking your own picture for the KK home page? That holding the camera yourself and "posing" is really distracting.

Don't they have somebody who could snap the photo for them: A neighbor, a real or imaginary friend or sibling, foster children, a CVS employee, a son who sleeps standing up? Anybody?
