Another tip I've been giving to folks is that sometimes there is solid and then slightly runny parts of the batter.

I take the solid and form six piles. Then I make a well in the centers of each (think mashed potatoes with gravy) and fill with the more liquid batter. This holds the rolls in a uniform shape, even when there is some liquid. The center bakes fine.

Determine your ideal bun size and then find a kitchen object that corresponds with said size. I like a saucer for hamburger/sandwich rolls and a large glass for breakfast "biscuits".

On your sheet of parchment, use a dark pencil draw around your object to make outlines. I usually get 6 saucer sized on a cookie sheet size piece of paper.

Flip the paper over and place on cookie sheet. Place the oopsie batter in the confines of the outlines.

I get compliments on my nicely shaped buns all the time.
There's nothing worse than having one bun bigger than the other.

Sweeteater-- Thanks for the thanks! I just don't always think to tell people what I do because it seems so unsubstantial at the time.

CYA ALERT

Re the menu from yetserday's KK post (Anyone care to take a look at my Menu???)

Kimmer:

"My question on your menu would be:

1) How long have you been eating those portions? What are results so far?
2) How long have you been trying to lose and what has interfered (caused a cheat) so far?
3) Have you resolved the underlying (cheat) reasons for going off plan before?

If you're using protein shakes that are only 90 calories, I think they'd make a great snack. A large egg is 75 calories, no reason not to use a 90 calorie shake. The guidelines for shakes as meals only was geared toward the 200 calorie canned varieties like Slim Fast and Atkins.

Do you like veggies? Adding them to scrambled eggs, as side dishes to protein and nutrient packed salads is a smart move. The calorie count for Kimkins veggies ranges from 10-50 calories per serving. An excellent bargain!

The downside to forcing small portions include a feeling of deprivation. Few people last very long with an "I can't take it anymore" attitude, usually followed by a binge. You may also be hungry for a few days until ketosis sets in. This would be a deal breaker for me, I hate being hungry. In ketosis where appetite is naturally reduced, you may naturally eat less, but forcing small portions can backfire.

Definitely be sure you're taking a good quality multivitamin each day. Have you run your plan by your doctor? Show him what you're planning to eat and your proposed workout schedule. Don't push yourself too hard."

I'm sorry, but I find it SO hard to believe anything from a lying liar who lies, and who, I suspect, never followed a single direction that she gave everyone else! And while they were practically starving - or perhaps in a state of SNATT - she was sitting there eating sugar cookies, downing Cap'n Morgan, and cashing her checks, of course!

The thing that INFURIATES me, is that she sounds so reasonable, so experienced, so knowledgeable. No wonder she is able to scam so many. An honorable, decent person does not have a SH*T detector that huge. So how could you all have discerned what a scam artist she was? You couldn't! Can you see that? There was no way you could see through her, if you are an honest person who believes in the face value of others. She has been scamming for years. If you just listen to her voice on Jimmy's interview, you would follow her *anywhere*. Even when I KNEW she was lying at that interview, it was like being wooed by the sirens. She is an artist at scamming. So ALL of you who have bad feelings about being scammed and thinking it is your fault, forget it! You may have been scammed, but you have been scammed by an ace! And the only way you would have been prepared was to have known what all the 15 threads here have revealed. So give yourselves a break. Don't feel bad. Just get MAD! Look at what AmyB is doing. The wonder of it is that EVEN those who got taken in and eventually get out can do WONDERS, just as AmyB is doing. (APPLAUD for you, AmyB). Yes, I understand it was really hard to get out. I haven't been there. But, for all of you who HAVE been there, we owe a great deal of thanks for your insight, your experience, your misery.

Barbara, sometimes when I sit look at all this stuff, I feel like I should be wearing hipboots and brandishing a shovel because "it" is so deep.

And then I feel like I need a shower afterwards.

Speaking of Amyb, have you seen her latest blog post?

Singinglass had her own sockpuppet.

Is anyone shocked by this?

Yeah, that's what I thought

What a great way of putting it! Yes, I imagine you might even need one of those suits they have-what do they call them-decontamination suits?

My question is does SingingLass know that the Christopher Marlowe tale of Doctor Faustus (Faust) who sold his sold to the devil is also an opera?

The traditional tale of Faust: a man sells out his soul to the devil for wealth, power, love and knowledge. When it is time to settle the deal there is literally “hell to pay.”

Sounds like an appropriate part, what say you?

OK, so that chili pepper is placed in a strange place--Like any claims that anyone loses any appreciable amount of weight safely and effectively on Kimkins.

I'm with wifezilla-- I'm down over more pounds this week alone (and I'm still whooshing right now)-- high fat! I can't believe she'd willingly deprive folks of what they need for safe and effective weight loss.

I say that SL is about to learn in real life what was only an opera before.

SL knows all about opera:

Aida little food and my hair is falling out. Therefore I need no Barber of Seville.

Bravo! Encore!

Being the cultural maven that I am, I'd love to see the CA women's correctional facility interpretations of those.

Or maybe Heidi's fave, Pirates of Penzance, starring the Captain in a lead role with an all sock supporting cast.

I don't think this forum that we are accessing is the "real" one if you know what I mean?
The join dates are too soon for those who have been on the MCD for so long. Kinda like when ole' kimmer revamped her site and everyone had to "rejoin" the forum.
I think there is another forum for the "real" members that is ultra-secret. I expect after you've "paid your dues" on the front lines and are determined to not be a "pot-stirrer" you get the secret code for the "real" forum. Just my not so humble opinion.
