Have you tried taking biotin? 5000 mg?

Alot of people have found it slows the loss down, and then with continued use it helps with new hair growth. There are a bunch of threads on here about it.

yes, tooter, thanks...it has helped but it is still coming out a lot. I also saw on TV recently where a Dr said it really didn't help....I do have some new hair growth also so i guess it is doing both, lol...I just try not to wash it to often as it is depressing. I'll have to check my dosage though, not sure if it is 5000 mg.

I was losing a bunch of hair at about 3 months on Kk. Changed to a different diet, started supplementing with Biotin and Lecithin and I've got a head full of curls now.

Just ask my good buddy Jo. Btw, when are we doing lunch again? Maybe Reb can road trip south from Tennessee (?) and Bama can road trip north from Montevallo.

Sounds like FUN.

Just when I decide to wander off for a couple hours, all kinds of "characters" show up!

I keep looking at the calendar, but can't seem to figure out how it got to be Friday again so soon.

If you wash your hair less frequently, it can seem like you're losing more hair at once. Kind of like your natural shed hair builds up. I've always lost alot of hair, but if I go too long between washings, it seems as though I'm gonna go bald.

Kat~
I'm kind of a shedder, it's fine and I wash it everyday. I was losing hair for a while during the holidays, not quite handfulls but more than I did post pregnancy. My father in law, an old timey family practice doctor (he's 84), told me to up my biotin to 10,000 mg and add 2 or 3 extra fish oil caps a day. About 2 weeks after that the shed began to slow down and in about 2 more weeks it stopped.

I usually only have a haircut every 6-8 weeks..since I upped those I am having to get it cut every month. The gal that does my hair couldn't believe it and started telling her other clients about the biotin and fish oil.

Ask Mayberry ....

So which is it Crispy/Heidi/KnowTheFacts? At goal (100lbs in 5 months sounds awfully familiar too BTW, you might want to get your own story), or 20lbs away?

Thank you Kimmer....I have tried to lose weight for over 30 years and you have saved my life. If I did not lose this weight I would probably be six feet under today.

It does not matter to me who Kimmer is, How she looks, how many millions she made or if she scammed you! I spent $60 and finally found a way to lose my excess baggage...that is all the matters to me. I would have spent hundreds more on high carb snacks and foods by now if I had not found Kimkins.

I don't think what was described in the "medusa blog" rises to the level of fraud. It does show very questionable customer enticement tactics and describes a misrepresentative (although maybe not misleading... see my previous discussions about this) pattern of business promotion. But, in considering whether those methods are fraudulent, I am not convinced that even the combination of all of those disgusting, lying, shenanigans meets the definition of fraud (and I can assure you... I would be happy to find such evidence if it is out there, because people like Ms Diaz, who employ inappropriate business practices should be limited and policed to the full extent of the law). However, it is important to understand here that there is a lot of latitude given in trade regulation regarding promotional methods, which are not totally factual (like the use of hired models to sell items, giving the impression they are satisfied customers when they are not). Similarly the permissibility of "not totally accurate" descriptions (from what you will get) are allowed in product promotion (like bakeries saying their bread is "All Wheat," merely adding carmel color to make it brown, giving the impression it's a health food item, while the wheat is actually refined white flour). So, her methods, while disgusting and shallow, might be allowable under what is acceptable "verisimilitude" as I described in another earlier post.

Yes, I think the way she promoted was misrepresentative to the point where refunds should be offered to anyone who felt they signed on because of inaccurate information. I think she did t
