I got another "weed" response tonight (I was weed pulling all afternoon ) I like this one from Awesome Articles:

Hello-
Thank you for your concern.

All Kimkins Articles have been replaced with a warning and a link to the ABC news story on Kimkins.

Search Results

We chose not to remove Kimkins completely to keep our search engine hits for the Kimkins keywords and hopefully link people to the abc story and educate them about the diets dangers.

Thank you-

Did the same thing with the MCD that I did with KK by checking page source.

The name of Bonnie web designer is Eric Gerdes. His resume is on the web for all to see.ericgerdes.com/images/ericgerdes_resume.pdf

Since KK and MCD are similar maybe him or someone in his company set up the websites? Eric is from CA and his rates might have been affordable to both Bonnie and Heidi.

Take Down Kimkins Contest–Day 28

Take Down Kimkins Contest–Day 28

National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA)

The National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA) is a nationwide organization of more than 1000 attorneys who represent and have represented hundreds of thousands of consumers victimized by fraudulent, abusive and predatory business practices. As an organization fully committed to promoting justice for consumers, NACA's members and their clients are actively engaged in promoting a fair and open marketplace that forcefully protects the rights of consumers, particularly those of modest means.

The most powerful tool we have to fight for real consumer protections in our states and in Washington is consumers simply telling their stories of corporate unfairness and deception. A day does not pass where we’re not being asked by the media or a member of Congress or our state legislatures about real life examples that demonstrate the consumer abuses we complain about. If you’ve been denied justice or been abused by a mortgage broker or lender, an auto dealer or finance company, a debt collector or a credit card company, or any other big or small corporation, please tell us your story.

Figured people would need time to get all their stuff together to send in. that's why the deadline for all entries is Feb 22, Then I need some time to tally all the entries to find our winners, to be announced Feb 29.

Even if you don't enter the contest---all the work that we have been doing with the challenges is having an impact on things.

Especially letting all the federal agencies know

See the challenges are working!!!
Bama, I don't have screen shots for everything -- on some I have confirmation emails. Should I take a screen shot of the email?

OK. Is it my imagination or has Kimmer not changed her picture in weeks but we're supposed to believe that she's continued to lose down to 265?

Here we go again with the smoke and mirrors.

Got another "weed" response. This one is from The Leading Articles.com:

Hello Terry,

Thank you for your email.
Someone sent me an email about this 2 weeks ago or so..

I already removed all articles mentionning kimkins from my website.

If you have found any that I didn't see, please send me the URLs so I can
remove them.

Kind regards.

I also got the funniest e-mail from Real Age. Not ha-ha funny, but odd how they try to fit us square pegs into the round hole. They guarantee that if I eat apple wedges before each meal, the pounds will drop off. They don't know me. Apples are a serious trigger food for me. Just a few apple wedges, and the rest isn't pretty!

Square pegs in round holes! A good euphemism for individuality! Apples aren't a serious trigger food for me - I simply am allergic to them after eating 100's of bushels of them in my lifetime. They are one fruit I can't stay away from. But the thrust of the article undoubtedly was that pectin is good for us, and apples are a good source of pectin. But watch my diabetic hubby's sugar shoot skyward on eating such a healthy food. It builds him up as it tears him down!

So are you saying you think Bonnie knew Eric from when she lived in CA? I wonder how long she's been in Texas.

about your DH. Maybe that spike in blood sugar is the reason I can't handle them.

If you're an I Love Lucy fan, you'll remember the Vita-meata-vegamin episode. I read someplace that what she was really drinking was fruit pectin, and she said it tasted foul. It shows you what a good actress she was, because she had us convinced that it was the best tasting stuff in the world (once the supposed alcohol in it kicked in).
