I was reading AmyB's new blog - amazed at her willingness to speak so openly about what she's feeling and how she's coping with it all, well done AmyB!

I then saw the email that Heidi had sent her after the first time she was banned. That email is just... WOW! There are so many things said in that email, beyond just the words.

It shows that -
a) Heidi knew there were people experiencing negative side effects and told them NOT to discuss it on the site.
b) Heidi did not want anyone posting what their Dr's may have said about the diet plan.
c) Heidi is a control freak (not that we didnt know that already)

But the email clearly shows all the hallmarks of a cult leader attempting to keep control over their members. I really hope John T gets a look at that email, really.

But.. that explains just why its so hard for AmyB right now.. Kimkins IS a cult and breaking free from a cult is VERY hard to do - hence the reason there are professional deprogrammers and treatments for that exact thing.

I was one of the first people to use the cult word in regards to Kimkins, way back in thread 1 I believe and not a lot of people liked it.. but.. hey.. there's no question anymore after reading Heidi's own words.

Threatening, enforcing rules, "my way or the highway", manipulation, control, emotional blackmail, etc. etc.

The woman is a psycho and really needs to be behind bars.

I have a blog with a white background and a one with a black...cause I don't discriminate...

The black background is nice when you are trying to sneak a blog post in late at night and have the laptop in bed. That way the hubby doesn't wake up. LOL

Amy is well loved at Kimkins and I think Heidi made a HUGE mistake banning her but it's the best thing that could happen for Amy. I hope that Amy's posts and the emails from Heidi she's shared will explain a lot to many who are still members at KK and open their eyes to the fact that it's much more dangerous than just a stolen red-dress-wearing after picture that has so easily been dismissed by some.

I do so hate to disagree with Jo (and you are cracking me up, btw!) but I plan to use a picture of Juanita or Sarah as my headshot. It will be much harder this way to prove if the pictures are me or some..oh I dunno...russian bride.

I think that Amy is so well loved at Kimkins because she is a REAL person who can be related to. When you talk with her, she is genuine and isn't afraid to say "I gained some weight" or "I lost some hair". And she is an independent thinker.

There were so many panting glassy eyed sycophants, and there still are a few. I got so tired of the "lapdogs" who were jockeying for the best position to curry constant attention and praise from the Kimmer. I agree that some of them were/are not real. Some would say one thing about themselves in one post and then the next day their story would be totally different.

Amy, however, is real, she told it like it was and she finally stood up to the bully. As I said before, I wish would have had the guts to go out in a blaze of glory but I just can't. Not yet anyway.

They're torture devices!

Put Heidi in a pair of these for a couple of hours and she'd sing like a canary. For that matter, maybe the Pentagon would like a few pairs....
