We can not remove mentioned articles. Our terms of use clearly states :

We are unable to check the truthfulness of each article on our site.

Findinarticles.com"

Okay, if the articles aren't for any type of advice what are they for?

ETA: Oh yeah, the ever CYA, "for informational purposes only"

Wacky,

What was your response to their email?

I really wish they had responded to me. I certainly would have asked them if they really want to be supporting the fraud that is currently the subject of a class action lawsuit (and maybe even off them the link to the court docs, or to the lawsuit website).

I would have also mentioned that their attitude AND their association with (and support of) Kimkins really gives me serious doubts about the credibility of FindInArticles.com itself, as well as ANY of the articles on their site.

I really can't believe some of these organizations.

Thank you for sharing the response you got, Wacky.

I hope everyone reports the articles on this site, and maybe they will begin to see the light?

My response:
Ron,
Thank you for responding to my request. I understand that it would be
impossible to check for truthfulness and accuracy in all your
articles. That is why I provided the links in my original request. I
would think though that once an article is brought into question and
there is evidence it is promoting a fraud you would want to maintain
your sites integrity and remove the article.
Thanks

I guess maybe I should have been a bit more blunt. I did send links to a couple of site with lot's of pertinent information, I don't know it it was even looked at. I also sent the links to each article in question so they would be easy to find. Their TOS doesn't say anything about articles promoting fraud and the like, just that the articles must be the submitters own work. Now to use the articles "You agree to not publish any articles on sites that contain hate, racist, warez, porn, or any other illegal material."

I don't know why they'd care where the articles go since they don't care what's in them.
ETA: They don't want their articles used on sites that contain porn, yet many of their articles promote it's use. hmmm.

I believe she removed it when she claimed the website was "under new ownership". But it is a CYA for her. She can claim it's o.k. to ban people because they still have access to what is promised to members. I still have access to the stuff on her current "benefits" list, except the personal journal. The problem with her argument is that I was promised a whole different set of "benefits" when I plunked down my money. The devil is in the details. If I were of a mind to, I could sue her for breach of contract and bait and switch. She lured me to sign up with a promise of membership benefits and then changed the terms without my agreement. That woman does not know as much about law as she wants us to believe.

Hi all... have read pretty much every post from thread #1. Usually don't have anything at all to add to what's said here, but just had to comment on the MCD thing.

My take: MCD lady and hubby are mad at YY posting the menu pdf and digging into their website, thus throwing off their business and taking away their chance to make millions.

Look at the way it's written - very tongue-in-cheek, like, Yeah, Bonnie should have stayed fat because that's healthier for her. She should have never lost the weight. Shame on her for even trying. Etc...

And they use a lot of the "badbad" type references that YY uses a lot.

I don't know if I'm making much sense here, but it just looks like a dumb attempt to try and make fun of YY because they're mad at them.

But what do I know?

Carry on ducks! *relurking*
ITA with you.

I will check it.

Sorry, 2big4mysize, the last page they show is in July. I don't know when they'll update.

Wacky, thanks for sharing. I would send them the case watch link which shows the actual court documents and shows that legal action has been taken. Since illegal activity is something they state they will not participate in...in theory at least. Here is that link "Kimkins" Diet Fraud Unmasked.

2big I believe I have it. I will email it to you.

Did anyone research or determine if all the information posted on the magicchickendiet.net page was available on the internet? There is some personal info on there and the pics of course, BUT is this all available if say a person had gathered those facts off the internet and then acquired that domain?
I still say it looks suspicious that the magicchickendiet.com was down prior and the other candle site is down too, IF the "new" dot net site was not linked to the original owners of the dot com site who is said to be the lupers.

If you need another view...one closer of Heidi, let me know.
