Oh yeah, Indy is my Fedora bf and I can hardly wait to see the latest film.

As for the latest Heidi nightie photo, the gown she's wearing does slightly resemble Karen Allen's from the film.

For what it's worth, I was never convinced that is Heidi in the dress with a young Brandon, I think it could be her mother. And this latest photo? I think could be her sister. Just enough of a resemblence to fool a person at quick glance.

My reason of thought being, in some of my youthful photos, I even have a hard time telling myself from my middle sister, who is 5 years older than me and we look nothing alike today, but in younger years of pics around the same age, we coulda been twins.

Just found this in the Woman's World, dated 3/3/08. It's on page 19, right at the end of the diet article of the week "Oprah's Thyroid Cure!"

In a prominent box it reads:
" PLEASE ACCEPT OUT APOLOGY
We at Woman's World pride ourselves on finding innspiring diet successes to share with our readers every week. That's why we were so distressed to learn that Kim Drake, the founder of Kimkins.com, gave us inaccurate information about herself and her weight loss. Though the article appeared several months ago, in our June 12, 2007 issue, and nutritionists assure us the diet information we provided was accurate, we deeply regret having shared with you a story we can't stand behind. Your trust means everything to us, and we want to bring you the very best magazine we can, each and every week."

LOL. Come OHN, Mayberryblooddonorfan.

Do you think anyone really reads Woman's World? Do you think a boycott of an already laughed-at publication matters? Like really? You've ever bought it? It's like the National Enquirer with even less believable claims.

I'm still waiting to read the "I ate Elvis" Diet.

Yes, Cleo. I have to admit buying Woman's World and many people do. They wouldn't get that choice placement by the register's if they didn't sell well. So, I'm doing my little ducky best to cut into their profit margin.

But, I swear to you on Aunt Bee's Apple Pie recipe that I've never bought a National Enquirer!

Cleo it would seem a lot do or she wouldn't have had 1.2 million come in to her paypal account in that month alone!

WAYYYYY OT HERE

Alrighty everyone....I'm in need of assistance from some creative cooks here....

I am on a special diet right now....the GI doc has me on a soft bland diet---his list includes such lovely things as oatmeal, cream of wheat, mashed potatoes, cream soups(no tomato), scrambled eggs

my body is just not tolerating this one bit with the reactive hypoglycemia I'm pretty much in a fog most of the time with the BS swings

so here is your mission, if you choose to accept it...

I need high protein, higher fat, low carb BLAND food recipes that have some flavor

nothing spicey, nothing acidic, meat free but high protein

no nuts or hard to digest veggies---like broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower etc..

Well, at least it's slightly better than their previous prolonged silence.

It still seems a lot like spitting in the campfire in an attempt to put it out, and reeks of CYA. Too little, too late? Definitely!

Woman's World Magazine

Finally! Say “NO” to Kimkins

Woman's World asks "Is it too late to take that back?"

At the very least, they could have included information about the Kimkins Class Action Lawsuit for all the folks that Woman's World led to Kimkins.

Too little, too late. WHAT are they actually saying here? No mention of the fact that she NEVER lost the weight. No mention of the Lies or health issues from doing the diet as stated. Nothing.

inaccurate information? WTH? Ya Think?

No mention of the fact that she is being investigated.

Looking out for their readers? I think not.

Look at how it's worded. Nothing more then CYA with as little said as possible.

Does Anyone get a "warning" not to do the diet? Heck no. After all..."Nutritionists assure us the diet information we provided was accurate".

Doesn't sound like a warning to me.

Distance yourself from all this and all the information you Really know about Kimkins.

What would you think, if you read this?

All they said was that she gave "inaccurate information".

Nothing about the Fraud, Nothing about them not investigating properly...In fact, it sounds like they support her diet still, because, "Nutritionists assure us the diet information we provided was accurate".

OK, this question may have been mentioned a gazillion times, I don't know. I run a business and use paypal also. WHY would anyone (Hidey) keep over a million dollars in thier paypal account and not move it to a more secure method of saving, like a safe deposit box or a bank account? Reasonsing that she didn't want the money to be traced through a bank is bogus one since all transactions through paypal are very traceable.

Just a silly question, but was wondering what her line of thinking was-if anyone knows, jump in!

Bama are you eating the oatmeal or not?

Do a mixture of Flaxseed meal, and Pecan meal (2 Tablespoons each) Add a little water and cook it in the microwave until it is the texture of oatmeal. The pecan meal makes this taste like oatmeal!!! I swear it does. I then just add butter and sweetener to it. I can't give you an amount on the water or time in the microwave, because it will vary, Depending on how you like it done, but it's a start. This is low carb, high protein and fat. DANG, I just saw no NUTS!!!!

Well, if you DO, do the oatmeal, try the Quaker weight control oatmeal (instant) 6 grams of fiber and 7 grams of protein. They have 3 or 4 different flavors and they are not sweetened with Sugar.

Dang, your mission really is a "tough" one.
