What if we posted consumer complaints at the site above, against Womans World and the fact that they only posted the web site retraction, and not a full retraction in their magazine? Just a thought.

I'm sure that's definitely a good kind of "wearing her out". I hope everyone is busy getting all their entries together to send in! I don't think Bama is going to mind being overwhelmed by them all! I'm so excited to see who won (besides ALL of us, because we are just that much closer to the day!)!

Thank you again to everyone who participated in one challenge, in all the challenges, or in any number of them in between! It all helps!

Happy Valentine's Day!

But then again...she wouldn't have made the millions she did. I don't think we can expect any more from WW...we are lucky we got that and I'm sure they are hoping only those of us running around the web will find it, hence, not being in the magazine.

of course i'll never live it down...YOU won't let me!

Did they give a page number, because I'm not BUYING it to read it! I could "glance" at it in the grocery store.

BB---the going over the contest entries is not why I'm pooped...that is a no biggie kinda thing--don't mind it a bit

I'm pooped because my iron level is in the toilet---from the WLS--I'll feel better tomorrow after my round of IV iron

Yep..Good deal..You can stand in the WW line and read it while you are waiting. Probably it will only be the "thing" they had on the website..no great details, do you think?

Retractions tend to be small in any publication. I wouldn't be surprised to see a tiny retraction.

Still, it helps the case for the litigants that a national magazine is now retracting. That's a good sign regardless of the size.

As it is, the retraction will say they're sorry they featured a fraud but the diet it still fine because (the altered) diet they featured was valid based on a nutritionist(who wouldn't know).

A couple of months back I saw an issue of Woman's World that had a retraction on a diet article. They had "quoted" the nutritionist Dr. that starts with a W and has the beard. My mind is mush sometimes with names and numbers, but I think you know who I mean. Anyway, they had printed that he endorsed this particular diet of the week. Surprise surprise, he hadn't. It was at the bottom of a page scattered in the magazine and had a line box around the "Sorry we printed this. He didn't endorse this plan."
