I believe she is a diabetic.

One-she is STILL morbidly obese...I don't think she's lost an ounce
Two--she has probably killed her liver from her love affair with the capt'n
Three---her thyroid is shot from years of yoyo dieting
Four---she has a long history of mental illness according to the family--many, many, many, psych meds have the complication of actually causing drug induced diabetes

so yeah---she probably does have diabetes---

Bama, I love your Mardi Gras duck avatars. Where did you find them? I want to find those sites and buy those ducks as gifts! (My co-worker got a King Cake last year from her niece in Louisiana. Very tasty and highly fattening! I don't think anyone found the baby Jesus.)

I found these pics on a site where a lady collects rubber ducks---don't know where she got them----but oriental trading company has a huge selection of rubber ducks of all kinds---so does this one lady on ebay---just google mardi gras rubber ducks and see what you can come up with....

that's how I find many of the unusual rubber ducks pics....

So who's going to a Superbowl party today? We aren't into it, so it's just another Sunday around here.

Kat - Speaking of the Super Bowl, the general manager of the New York Giants graduated from the same small town high school that I did. His family still lives here. About 14 of them are in Arizona for the game. I'm not much of a sports fan, but you know who I have to cheer for this year!

Thanks, Barbara B - We love living here. The house was dilapidated and we restored it. I married a hometown boy and we still live in the same town we grew up in.

I filed 2 also, the first one in Aug 07, I got an e-mail asking me if I really wanted to file it

of course this was on the heal of me filing a complaint with the FTC about the FTC!

No Super Bowl party for us..I don't know if Gary will even watch it, although the commercials are the best part.

I'm sure Heidi is a diabetic..for all the reasons that Bama posted. She is a classic Type II from years of bodily abuse...

Well, I envy you and applaud you. I know it must have been a hefty undertaking, but I am sure you are both glad you did it. It's charming. Now, you should enjoy it and revel in your accomplishments.

BamaGal, just remember, also, watch yourself with the lettuce leafs - they can take you WAY overboard on your calories.

Maybe just have a half a cup?? And spray salad dressing on them? Can't be too careful, right? Or maybe you don't want it bad enough?

OK. This is not a funny post. I still can't figure how adding more lettuce or a chicken wing can do your diet in. It is just CRAZY. How can anyone believe this shite?

I have to admit that I am beyond understanding how someone can take this kind of advice seriously! Can someone explain this to me? BTW, I am NOT downing anyone for following this advice. I know SHE is a lying liar that lies. It is NOT YOUR FAULT. I just can't fathom how she makes it so credible. She is a truly devious woman and that is why she has been able to HURT so many people. Please, folks, do NOT believe in her BS! She is NOT the answer. There are so many diets out there that are GOOD.

Buy a book! Atkins, Protein Power, South Beach Diet, whatever! The trick is to look at it as a WAY OF LIFE and NOT a diet. Because if you ever go back to eating the way you used to, you will gain it ALL back and more. You need to change your LIFE forever, and quick weight loss will NOT teach you how to do that. YOU WILL ONLY GAIN IT ALL BACK AND MORE!

And there are FREE websites that will help you do this. Come along to Low Carb Friends and see how many good people are there to cheer you on and give you ideas. Lowcarbfriends.com Low Carb Diet Support and Products!

it is really difficult to explain. truly, it's one of those "you have to have been there" to fully "get it." any attempt to explain it outside of a certain environment usually fails comprehension.

Look at my boopie! She's so cute! (Love your picture!)

I remember thinking that one extra macadamia nut peeking over the side of the cup was evil. I had to put it back. I did it to myself, naturally, but I was so obsessed with every calorie the last time I followed Atkins that all I ate much of the time was eggs. (This is why I won't keep a food journal)

Now, put someone who is desperate to lose weight in (as I was) with someone like 'the Kimmer' who encourages people to eat even less food, forces people to obsess and micromanage even more, and who rewards people who eat less with praise.

It becomes a dysfunctional cycle of enabling. It's not healthy for the person losing the weight, and it's absolutely irresponsible on the part of the 'leader'.
