Yup, it's rather scary. I can get into information overload from a lot of reading that I do, but if I don't step back to process the information, then it all starts to sound feasible. (um which can happen quite a bit in my case. )

Do the smiliey things move around on the selection board. I swear they are in a different place each time I go to use them.

You know, people talk about members not researching KK before joining but really what was out there at the time was all stuff she and some others looking to make $ had out there so it was all positive except what you may have found here. I didn't know about this place until after I was a member and LCF was mentioned at KK. I feel less gullible for not seeing it as the scam it is after viewing the sheer volume of planted information there is out there. KWIM?

Are you ready to take on yet another article site??

We have been getting some good response from these challenges. Let's keep the momentum going!!

There are 40,000+ article sites out there on the web. They are the breeding grounds of all these obscure sites everyone is finding. Since we have not had too much luck in targeting the source of these articles, the authors AKA affiliates. We must concentrate on the breeding grounds, the article directories themselves.

We are making good progress with Myspace and Yahoo answers also, so keep up the good work. The Daily Links are also something that needs attention.

Well, we have learned the hard way that Heidi does not mind at all lying about her weight. All she has to do is pinky-swear and declare total victory at the end of the month. She has no conscience about lying. I am sure she will have total success.

For anybody who thinks there efforts at blogging about the dnagers, contacting the writers of the pro stuff, emailing the pro site owners, and/or reporting sites I just wanted to offer a little encouragement. You are making a difference. this is from a blog thatused to be pro kimkins and the writer was one of those article writers too but not now

A bit about me: I started on my weight loss journey back in June of 2006. This web-site is where I have been trying to document my experience as a way of keeping myself motivated and focused on my goals and eating plan. I was doing well however these last few months... not so hot! I decided to START FRESH -- I really need to put the past behind and focus on the future!

The diet plan I previously did was Kimkins - It did work for me when I could stay strict and I enjoyed it very much but it was VERY HARD for me to stick to over the long haul. However more importantly, with all the new reports coming out about Kimkins being a fraud and all the investigations going on and evidence posted around the net exposing Kimmer.. (which at first I didn't want to believe.. but I think it's pretty safe to say now that it's all true.. and I am very shocked and upset because I was one who trusted Kimmer and gave her the benefit of the doubt.. I wanted to believe she would come out as a shining star in the end!! But see that is not the case. )

So before I go on, I would like to aplogize to anyone and everyone I may have encouraged to give Kimkins a try. Please understand that I no longer feel the same about Kimkins after having the light shed on me.. esp over the past few days of doing some hard researching online about the whole controversy and reading about the evidence against her.. what an eyeopener. I feel terrible and please know I am VERY VERY SORRY!! I was (as we all were) completely mislead - believing Kimkins was genuine & trustworthy. Esp because it was working for me when so many times I've failed... I wanted to believe it all the more.

This website here was what really sent me over the edge. You can't argue with it, I couldn't believe my eyes: Winning Weight Loss

I decided there is going to be no turning back.. and that I had to break all ties with Kimkins all together -- I therefore removed my reviews I wrote sharing my opinion of the plan (both good and bad) from off my site and removed them from EzineArticles and I will continue to do my best to remove all others that have been posted online as a result of them being origionally posted on Ezine. Please understand I no longer agree with them & would never encourage other's to try Kimkins knowing what I know now.. I removed all Kimkins links from off my site & I will not be returning to her site any longer as well. I will no longer be doing Kimkins eating plan or sharing information about it with others when asked about my weight loss .. and I would strongly caution others if you're still considering trying Kimkins!! Take time to do the research like I did.

Which reminds me.. I also really need to apologize to everyone who in the past have tried to caution me through posts in my guestbook or loving emails. I thought you were all being too quick to jump to conclusions about Kimkins and I kinda just blew you off. Esp because one of the hot topics was if the success story pics were real or not.. I didn't worry about that so much because I knew that "MY PROGRESS PICS WERE REAL" and that's all the proof I needed. I knew the plan worked as far as that goes. At the time I didn't have time to do the research to find out the truth for myself so was unsure how to respond.. I am so sorry I did not take you seriously. I see now that you were very right. Thank you for keeping after me. Please please please forgive me.

I think you are correct Kat....the end is near. We are winning the fight although at times it has seemed an uphill battle. I know that writing emails, posting comments, doing complaints may not appear to have an effect. But they do and the more people that do those things the better. So everyone keep up the hard work.

I started back at the first post and have been going through and updating them. Well let me tell you---some posts have been deleted because ALL the links have gone POOF!!

I wish I knew why in light of all the evidence showing the Kimkins diet fraud which was created by a morbidly obese 300+ pound woman named Heidi Diaz who has been a well-known scam artist for years is still so attracted to this plan. It is basically a ZERO fat, ZERO carb, protein-only diet that is causing some really dangerous health complications to happen in the desperate and unsuspecting dieters who try it. The calorie intake of the people following this plan as Diaz, who is neither a doctor nor a nutritionist, wrote it out is around 500 a day. Yikes! This diet is nothing more than a one-way ticket to anorexia and death due to malnutrition. I suppose people are so desperate for weight loss that they'll even try something this drastic to see if it will work for them. It's a sad day in our society when people are more concerned about weight loss than they are about improving their health. The latter is worth so much more to your body long-term which is why I emphasize that fact more and more in all that I do. National television exposure of the fraud as well as an ongoing class action lawsuit against Diaz will eventually come to a head and hopefully bring this diet imposter down for good. For the sake of the tens of thousands of people who got sucked in by this scheme, I can only hope that day will be sooner rather than later.
