All the more reason to spread the word.

Say “NO” to Kimkins
She also used freecycle. I found a few references from freecycle people when I searched for results through google for craigslist kimkins.

From the ABC News story comments:

Quote:
There does seem to be much more to this issue. It appears as if 100% of the anti-kimkins blogs as well as most comments made regarding Kimmer can be traced directly to the LCF site, a forum which was "home" to Kimmer for many years. In fact, there is still a whole Kimmer Threads section under Other Plans which has brought in over 2 million hits for the LCF forum in recent months. If you think "click per view" or some similiar plan, that is a very powerful reason to keep this controversy boiling, using a "militant, jealous petty little group with an agenda"(in the words of another poster), many who have never even belonged to the Kimkins site. (Check out the contests they are running within the LCF-FWK thread with prizes for whoever fills in the most complaints etc regarding Kimkins.) This is without even considering orders for low carb products placed with the online store from the same site. Potentially big, big bucks! More to this issue indeed.
Apparently, we must be getting some kinda CUT from LCF?

Talk about grasping at straws!

In the same boat here

Sometimes I just want to give up but then I remember how horrible eating carbs makes me feel. So even though I can't lose any more weight I know it's making me feel 100% better and I know my health is much better too.

The one who stands to gain the most by her diet succeeding won't even appear on national TV to defend it.

Any reactions at the Kimpire???
Reactions I saw this evening were pretty much "They lied. They are biased. They didn't tell the whole story. Can you say setup?!"

Woo hooo Honeybee!!!

I was wondering when you'd address the imposter using the name "honnybe2" on the GMA board.

WTG!! your response was perfect. Looked like a Kimmer sock puppet to me too.

For those that haven't seen it yet...

In fact speaking of LCF, why not use your screen name from there instead of mine? I mean if you believe in what you are saying Or should I call you "the Kimmer"? I believe that LCF thought kimmer was the real deal too when she first was there. The threads do still remain but mainly to show what kimmer told members. I bet Kimmer wished it was gone because it helped track down a lot of her lies. I feel that once the federal agencies have their go at Kimmer and Kimkins.com that LCF will remove the threads. But we must learn from history and I think providing a warning and even a link to Heidi's deposition should be enough to warn most away. I mean she doesn't read like she knows a lot about dieting when you see her at 300plus pounds being smug at her depo. But since you brought up LCF I also want to add, that them allowing for the "fascination with Kimmer" thread is the reason that Kimmer's lies have been brought out too. I myself was not a member of LCF until the day I was banned from Kimkins. I went there because I wanted to know the truth and to help dig for answers. So if you want to make this about LCF instead of about Kimmer, which is the focus of this show. Then how about you also bring up the fact that it was at LCF that most of the "fake kimkins success stories" were found. I think all but one were found while members combed the Russian bride sites looking for the pics that kimmer/Heidi Diaz had lifted from other sites, including her own promotional pic- "the Red Dress Kimmer".BTW- I also now have an anti-kimkins blog and participate in the ring of blogs that you are describing, the ones doing the contest, but that has nothing to do with LCF.

Back when I was researching Kimkins on the net, and before KTLA started calling her that, I ran across many references on the net to a radio personality who was leaving the air. His name is Kim Peterson and was called The Kimmer

I imagine the media were aware of Kim Peterson and that's how "The" got added to our "Kimmer".

I like "the kimmer" because it is like some make believe entity....like "the Easter Bunny", "the Tooth Fairy", "the headless horseman",...."the Kimmer" is An Urban Lie legend. We can tell our child or grandchildren about "the kimmer". What levels a person will go to harm and scam their fellow man. We can warn our children that "the Kimmer" is the opposite of what we strive for as other human beings.
I don't read it like "the" makes her special just another make believer person. I mean "the Kimmer" never really existed, at least not in the sense of a slim, beautiful dieter that had maintained her weight with no health side-effects for over 5 years.
I mean we even say "the devil"

Notice how they really didn't show Heidi's full picture on the homepage?

I wasn't too impressed with it, after seeing the other indept shows. Christin looks great-post accident. Of course the cult members says she is doing a Kimkin maintenance, regardless of the fact they STATED she is following a plan her DOCTOR put her on.
When did anyone from Kimkins say they ate an apple or tangerine?

Just my observations!
Ummm.......when did Kimkins get an official maintenance? I need to go look at that because I thought maintenance was just adding in carbs here and there, according to Kimmer. So that would mean if you eat carbs above what you were doing on kimkins then you are on maintenance. I must be on maintenance too. lol
Oh, and you are right about the fruit. I think it took about 1 or 2 months after I stopped Kimkins before I ate fruit. It had become a forbidden thing in my mind, because of her plan.

You have to factor in the "cocky" part with the smart. I still think she has gonads under that red dress the size of the average basket ball.

And don't feel like you failed at anything. Look at it as a good time to have not succeeded, because truly not doing her diet is a great achievement for your health.

Thanks MJR!
I have not opened my laptop since Friday and was just reading emails tonight and got a message. I thought it was supposed to be me on someone's blog and then they told me no it was on GMA's message board. LoL...I need to still view the GMA show because I had tivo set for Saturday Morning! I got the link I just now need to take the time.
It seems that Kimmer wishes LCF and the antikimkins blogs would go away. I bet if she knew about everything else going on she would really take to drinking. I sort of miss wonderwoman. I haven't been on the board as much because of other things going on, but I try to check in and what fun the wonderwoman, the seen night and others were, that is for sure.
Everybody keep on commenting on blogs, posting on blogs and filing forms.

You are supposed to be able to see the bones in your hands..my brother thought you would be able to see through people's clothes. LOL

Well, we ordered the sea monkeys, the x-ray glasses, a switchblade comb (it looked like a switchblade knife but opened to a comb- The Fonz was real big then and so we wanted one of those combs), whoopi cushion and some other things....I think we had our Daddy get a money order, we told him it was for something. I can't remember what. We sort of bypassed mom and ordered it all. I remember we were so excited for it to come and we had to try to check the mail before our parents.

Well I thought my seamonkeys were going to look like they did in the comic book. I had a goldfish bowl, cleaned it good and added the "seamonkey powder" it said in a few days I would have these sea monkeys. I remember looking at the package thinking how cute they were. They were like little families of seamonkeys. There were little ones, like babies and then big ones like the parents....on the package. They also had features. You remember, the little eyes, nose and mouths?

A few days passed and my seamonkeys started to appear....white little nondescript, stinky, things. They looked nothing like the image on the package! And my mother had a fit over the smell. The seamonkeys became my first dealings with the package not matching the contents as a consumer. Come to think of it.............
Kimmer and Kimkins is nothing more than seamonkeys without the water!Hey I think I just got the idea for my blog. lol

BTW- The glasses were cool but of course you couldn't see your bones but they did give an eerie glow to your hand. My brother was really bummed. The comb was cool too. The whoopie cushion got thrown out with the seamonkeys.

OMG, Morgan we must have shared part of a childhood! I got those rocks. I couldn't remember the name, but they did work. Too bad the white maggot things swimming in there with them didn't work out!
The rock colors were great too!

You know I think even though the seamonkeys didn't work out, think of what I would have missed if I gave up on ordering junk out of comic books...The magic rocks, the switchblade comb and the x-ray glasses. I think I even got like a secret compartment book from there too. You could hide things in it and put it on your bookshelf like a normal book.
So some good still can come out of believing in things. Just not "the Kimmer"

Yeah, it wasn't especially hard-hitting in the sense that so much was left out but there's only so much you can do with a five minute segment. The important thing is this got NATIONAL coverage and they covered the most critical parts of the story. That would be that 1.) Kimkins was founded by a huge liar and nearly everything about it is a fraud 2.) The real caloric limits 3.) The fact that you can get very sick from this and 4.) There's a lawsuit.

This is a great Sunday morning
Sure was and thank you so much for the transcript!
