I thought other people were going to be interviewed for this story on GMA? Are they perhaps going to save it for a larger broadcast?

Did anyone notice on Kimmer's site about how you must be over 18 or have your parent or guardian's permission to join? I haven't seen it.

You get Jesse Water's from the Bill O'Reilly's show and he'll be all over Kimmer!! If anyone has seen the Factor they go after Judges who give lenient sentences to really nasty people. If Kimmer is encouraging this type of behavior in adults, I wonder how many young girls are on her site?

I read what people are saying on her site. How can they still not see this diet isn't safe? Where is the medical expert to say this diet is not dangerous? How can these people feel its okay to achieve SNATT to lose weight? This makes me so mad.

Kimmer needs to have a new sloggan called,

Kimkins ~ Starving my way to being thin.

I don't know how many people actually came forward from this most request for people to talk about their experiences on Kimkins. Perhaps no one else did? That would be a shame, because those who's health has been hurt by Kimkins could really help things a lot by speaking out to warn others so more people don't join the dangerous diet and get scammed by Heidi.

No, I hadn't heard there was an age restriction to join the site, that must be something new encouraged by Heidi's attorney to make her site appear more legitimate.

Sadly, it's been reported that she also encourages this type of behavior in teens, and also solicits for members on MySpace and Yahoo! Answers and gaming and music arenas, as well as other areas that teens congregate online. Young teens, who really don't know any better, are such easy targets for things like this.

All the more reason to spread the word.

First post from long long time Atkins Low Carb Lurker. I would have thought there would have been more about paying to join the Kimkins Diet and then being banned for having questions or concerns. To me that is Fraud and a form of Theft. I have lurked on this forum for years. I remember Hideous from early on and always questioned her photos and story, but thought from all the post it was just me. I read the WW article and the pictures and thought wow. I felt like a failure as I could not do the diet plan, I tried, but got sick, too. My own insecurites, feeling like a failure,and just being sick, I quit the diet plan and did my own thing. I gained, I dropped, I gained, the only diet that works for me is true Atkins, but now with a messed up metabolism, finding it is harder, not harder, but slower to lose the weight I have gained. Which is why then I pop back in here to research a receipe and WOW, the Fascination thread caught my eye. I have read every post, I joined to be able to follow the story. I silently cheered as THE DUCKS uncovered everything from Russian Brides to the GMA. As I stated my first post to this forum, but truely wanted to say GOOD JOB, LADIES! DON'T STOP NOW.

Just know that you are not the only one who fell for Heidi's lies. And be thankful you stopped following her unhealthy diet. I'm sorry your metabolism is messed up - but you are doing the right thing by following a healthy way of eating. You'll get there.
And don't feel like a failure because you couldn't follow the kimkins plan. Feel THANKFUL!!! You're one of the LUCKY ones!!! Those that did, are paying a very hefty price, for sure.

I can't speak for everyone here.... but, I for one, will NOT STOP, fighting the fight, until the kimkins website is SHUT DOWN!!

I can get to the forum, but to go anywhere else on abc.go.com, the page just jumps around and flips back and forth, like that it's trying to load a bunch of advertising. I tried the pulldown on the < button, and every time I click on a previous page, it starts that mess all over again.

Ah, well. I think I've been mouthy enough today!
