I'm glad they said find out who's behind the diet you are on.

Did you notice, Christin is still slim, and they show her eating fruit, SL is still on the diet, and she held up an old pair of jeans, but it just didn't look "convincing" to me.

I love too how they talked about the hair loss, and sl says "it's a small price to pay" and the health dude said "there's no reason to lose any hair"

Here is a question for Kimkins survivors and it may have been already answered at some time or another, but didn't anyone find it strange she offered a "One Time Fee' instead of monthly subscriber fees or buy a year, i.e. $49.95 for a year?

I saw the report but I wish it had been more in depth.

The one-time fee for anything is alot more appealling than pay by the month..People would
drop out if they paid by the month.

You can offer a one-time fee that is more money than a pay by the month plan..and that
is her "hook"..It's up to $80.00 now.or something like that. Of course, if they ban you, you might not get it back..(like Miss Jeanessa).

Great job, Christin and GMA! I love how they told the TRUTH about certain things, like the caloric intake (500 calories) as well as the screen shots of some anti-kimkins blogs. And what I like best is that due to the time difference, poor Heidi gets to wait a little while yet before she sees it

Yeah, it wasn't especially hard-hitting in the sense that so much was left out but there's only so much you can do with a five minute segment. The important thing is this got NATIONAL coverage and they covered the most critical parts of the story. That would be that 1.) Kimkins was founded by a huge liar and nearly everything about it is a fraud 2.) The real caloric limits 3.) The fact that you can get very sick from this and 4.) There's a lawsuit.

Kimmer get ready for the influx of new folks! ... Kristen still has the weight off!.... she sure doesnt look unhealthy to me except for her bad car accident..... and makeup took care of that.......... not being disrepectful but she is a good ad for you.......

Since you are a tough lady Kimmer..... I am sure you can handle the negative stuff...... does not change how the plan works .. and how people are getting healthier every day....getting the fat off!!..

What is good about this is now there is the potential of a springboard for a more indepth look at the Kimkins Diet Scam by ABC. This could definitely become a larger episode on Nightline or 20/20, depending on the response they get from this segment.

Be sure to visit the GMA Weekend Website, type in Kimkins in the search box. Check out the Kimkins Video. And go to the GMA Message Boards and join the Kimkins discussions there.

If they can see enough discussion going on, and receive enough traffic, that may help encourage them to do a more indepth investigation.

I am glad they left that portion of the deposition in with "the Kimmer" thumbing her obese nose at the justice system.

It shows the amount of disregard she has for the laws of the land, and for the health and well-being of others. Just for money...

I think because "the" is actually used in a pejorative sense it makes her look pretty bad. It's very sarcastic.

Ok, so the Kimkins Diet Scam has been aired on television by 4 different shows now. If Kimkins is so great, why doesn't Heidi go on the show to talk about it? Why does she always send other folks? What is she afraid of?

I'm not buying her "too shy" story. She seemed composed enough when KTLA caught up with her, and during the deposition video as well. So, maybe she won't go on TV simply because you can't photoshop your television appearance?

If I was someone looking into signing up for a diet plan, and the diet creator refuses to appear to promote her own diet, that would be one great big RED warning flag for me not to join, for sure!

I do hope some of the folks in the Kimpire will start to wonder that for themselves and hopefully, see the light...
