That is up to the prosecuting attorney to decide. If she is found to be an accessory to crimes, if she has aided and abetted, there is much for her to be concerned about. But on the plus side, if she has information that would help a prosecutor convict Heidi, she is likely to be granted immunity from prosecution in exchange for her testimony. One way or t'other, I am sure she is just beginning to regret having gone to work for the lying liar that lies.

She claims to have had no involvement in website design.

Sounds like maybe TT will have a business expense on her hands ..... a trip to California and maybe more than once. Gosh if I were SL - I sure as heck would distance myself from Heidi's business or she will also be paying for a trip to Calif. If criminal charges are brought forth - then they both face hiring their own attorneys. OMG what a tangled web.

Do we know if she has come up with the $1.6MM? If not - than I would think until she can show that much is in escrow - than she's severely limited in what she can take out of the business. Just a guess - don't know for sure. Husband is taking a nap so I can't ask him!

Yes, if that turns out to be true, then they can get her on aiding and abetting. I wouldn't be in her shoes for anything. At the very least, she is a material witness. What is written in the blogs will pale in comparison to the nightmare (her word) ahead should this be pursued on a criminal level. If I were SWSNBN, I'd let the family know this isn't going to be over for a long time.

Yep! Although this makes me wonder why she consistently complains about what people are saying on blogs or here at LCF. Wouldn't public commentary on the fraud be the least of her problems?

Every one of us who was taken in by Heidi has to go through a process which is exactly like grieving. You go through stages, and I believe it is very similar to this:

The seven stages of grief are:

* Shock or Disbelief
* Denial
* Bargaining
* Guilt
* Anger
* Depression
* Acceptance and Hope

I think this process is different for all of us, depending on how deeply involved we were. For me, it all began the first time I saw the picture of Lesya. I never believed for a minute that it was Kimmer. It's like Hector says, she always takes it one step too far and gets busted.

And to address what you were saying, you are totally right. Public opinion truly is the very least of SWSNBN's problems. She just hasn't gotten to the point yet where she realizes it. If the blogs have upset her family members, I think she'd better be preparing them for rough times ahead.

I don't see it as being that strong of a statement. I think what she is trying to portray is that SWSNBN is equally responsible with Heidi. It's a way of sharing the blame, and in Heidi's view if she's going down, she's taking SWSNBN with her.
