Margi,

I like the nutrition data website, too. First heard about it from Kimmer...

Coincidence?

More things in common for Kimkins and MCD. Shazam!

But considering the repetitive nature of the MCD diet, giving out a three day sample menu would give the whole plan away.

I looked at the three day sample at KK ... is that anything like the real diet? I didn't plug it into FitDay.

I feel that people who pay money have a RIGHT to say whatever they want, as long as what they say stays within the confines of the law. Members technically are shareholders of that site. The webmasters lose their right to censor things that they don't want to hear when they collect money from their own membership.
Now see, you'd get banned from other there for sure. Nope ... it just wouldn't do.

You can even create a free, private forum that offers membership by invitation only. That way, you know who you're letting in from the get go. And it's FREE! There is absolutely no need to have a pay-to-play website. And you are right....if people are paying to be a part of a website, they shouldn't be expected to tow a party line or risk the boot. People who are insecure and unsure of themselves cannot tolerate those who don't agree with them. It's easy to have a following of lemmings and a sickly sweet kum-ba-yah, group-hug, "aren't we all wonderful" environment when you get rid of anyone who doesn't think exactly like you do.

FYI, I'm going to try to do better about keeping my blog up to date as a way of spreading the word about Kimmer and other VLCD's. If you have a blog roll, please add me to it! Conquering demons, losing weight

P.S. I didn't mention Tee-Pee Toes by name in my latest entry, but I dropped some hints!

I had hair that short in the '80's when I was skinny. I loved how easy it was to take care of.

I did her diet/low fat in the 90's and lost a ton of weight but as soon as I ate one piece of bacon I gained it all back and then some.

I know she's scaring me with that hair! And the tattoo looks like a toddler got hold of a Sharpie around Auntie Susan.

Oh, and I think she's had a few nips/tucks, huh?

Dang, I'm so critical at certain times of the month. Heh.

The eyebrows are glamorous and the lip gloss rocks. But the black eye make-up is rather garish.

You took the words right out of my mouth! That is the thing I remember about her - showing this huge pile of potatoes and saying you could eat that instead of a steak. That woman knows nothing about human physiology. I guess she has never heard of insulin resistance.

Oh, wait! Is she made of wax? Call me crazy but I am a little skeptical when it comes to marketing tactics used by "diet gurus".
