you are right about the free health care or income based---all you need to do is look online for you local mental health center---most states have a government office giving a list of all local mental health centers

I agree. The time we are spending hunting out the nay sayers is time we could have spent helping people. If any of you admins see negative posting, by all means delete it even if you have to delete the entire thread. And report the person who posted the offense to Kimmer right away, please. We are going to start banning with no refund. Because we are a paid site, I doubt too many will pay $ to come back just to cause trouble. Thanks again, everyone. This too shall pass…

I suppose all they see is the weight loss. If they keep to themselves and lose weight, I guess principles don't matter. They've already paid their money, they aren't out anything if they stay, they don't exactly gain anything if they leave, they have friends around them, and it takes effort to move. (Which is why I still live in my tiny starter house!) I guess they don't see (care?) that by staying, they give the illusion that the place is viable, essentially endorsing the fraud.

They signed on to lose weight, made friends, lost weight. Heidi put a tremendous spin on the disappearances, and offered new challenges and encouragements. People sue other people all the time, and the KK'ers are just not interested in negative issues: they're focused on things much more important to them - their own weight loss. Hard as it is to believe, some still have no idea of what's going on, and don't wish to find out. Just leave them alone. (Inertia is a wonderful thing!)

Because she doesn't know how. Remember, in her pm to Kimmer she said that a lot of the new members here on the thread at LCF, seemed to know how to do images, pictures and that she doubted that we were really newbies here. Like that makes sense. What does she think Tom teaches a class on HTML code and only those who have been at LCF long enough have been able to attend the thread class? But along those same lines I can imagine that cutting and pasting would cause her some restless nights.

In fact, Cheryl, at first she did give out free memberships, due to end Jan 1/2008 when paying members were admitted. Then the date changed rapidly, to the next day or two. But contrary to what we think here, SWSNBN doesn't have the final say - Brian and Heather do. SWSNBN is their success story and figurehead (and resident blabbermouth.) Just thought I'd point this out in the interests of fairness.

Anyway, Bill - he is home. They say that he fell asleep at his computer and had a sleep apnea episode. So far as why he ran, I haven't heard, but will ask my sister if they addressed this part. I'm guessing that he woke up and realized he was in trouble and was running to get help. But that could all just be my fantasy.

Anyway, they sent him home with oxygen to use while he sleeps and the first night home he slept almost 18 hours straight through. I've talked to him a couple of times now and he says he feels good. They will be doing a sleep study soon.

I also haven't asked Karen if his memory has recovered.

Oh I wasn't aware of this. When I visited her site right after it was announced here I didn't see that it was free. Thank you for pointing that out.
