I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who are posting recipe ideas, I've been copy/pasting and love all the great stuff.

My thoughts are with Christin and her family as well. I hope they have a speedy recovery with no complications.

NO! This statement on another website in NOT true. Pokey is no longer affiliated with her former website in any way, whatsoever. It saddens me that a person is trying to say that she is. As you have seen over here on our site, we do not endorse any plan and let each individual choose what low carb plan works best for them.

It's starting to look like she went after people on the 31st... you and from what I'm reading here, TT as well.

It might be a good idea to document this, and get a screenshot of it so she can't take it down later and play dumb that it never happened.

I was thinking that maybe there was a way you could report it to the host of her forum or something... someone higher up than Heidi? I don't know much about this so I'm not sure if it's possible but along with taking a screenshot it might be a good idea to send an email to her provider, and keep a copy of it headers and all.

If I were Tippy, I would be Pee'd off that Heidi renamed it "kimkins ctf diet." Notice how she decided it was hers?

Tippy won't get any credit for her cycling. That wasn't really a big thing before TT showed up.

TT better address this issue quickly.

I hope someone is helping you fix this Tipster! Any campers for Tippy (who may be spies), make sure she knows about this please.

Here is a 'testimonial" from her site about the Foxnews show:

FIRST HEARD OF THE DIET WHEN I SAW THE MIKE AND JULIET SHOW. I MUST ADMIT, I WAS VERY SKEPTICAL OF EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING ON THE PANEL. I COULD NOT HELP BUT TO WONDER.... IF THESE LADIES LOST THE WEIGHT, ARE HEALTHY AND HAVE KEPT IT OFF WHAT IS THE PROBLEM???? THE KIMKINS PR PERSON COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB DEFENDING THE PROGRAM. I, LIKE THOUSANDS OF OTHERS I'M SURE, HAD TO CHECK IT OUT FOR MYSELF. I HAVE BEEN READING TESTIMONIALS FOR THE LAST 30-45 MINUTES. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SURGERY, I HAVE LITERALLY TRIED EVERYTHING ELSE. THE TESTIMONIALS ARE VERY INSPIRING, BUT LIKE I SAID I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING ELSE. I HAVE HEARD IT ALL BEFORE.

HOWEVER, I AM STILL GOING TO TRY THE KIMKINS WOE. AT 270LBS. I AM THE HEAVIEST AND AND THE WORST CONDITION OF MY LIFE. I HAVE A 2YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WHO I FEAR NOT BEING AROUND FOR. IN ACTUALLY, I AM DESPERATE. I HOPE AND PRAY I DO NOT REGRET THIS DECISION. I CAN NOT HANDLE ANOTHER WEIGHT LOSS DISAPPOINTMENT,

I spoke at length with Melana, Christin's mom. Things are generally OK, but not all good.

The family was in a fairly new car, highly rated for safety, with lots of good safety features like air bags all around.

The kids are OK, but banged up and bruised and scared.

Brian is more banged up, had a severe concussion, but remained alert and aware, and will probably be discharged today.

Christin is in worse shape. It took them 20 minutes to cut her from the vehicle.

She has no broken bones or apparent internal injury, although her heart and lungs were badly bruised.

Her face is severely bruised, swollen, and cut up, especially around the right eye. She has a long cut through the tear duct and lash line. Her vision is expected to be fine, and they will plan for surgery to repair the damage around the eye once the swelling from her injuries subsides.

Her head took the worst of it. She is drifting in and out of consciousness, and in a lot of pain.
When she is awake, she knows who is with her, and responds to them.

However, she keeps asking the same questions, about how her family is, each time she is awake. Her short-term memory is not good right now. Apparently, that is normal for this type of injury. It may take a while before she is herself again. With time and care, though, she is expected to make a good recovery.
OMG. Please take care of them.

That poor gal..I guess she never tried "starvation" until now. I'm sure she will regret that decision to endanger her "health"... The good thing is that the diet is hard to do..people get hungry and bored and then drop it..That is a good thing..Keep tabs on her and see what happens..poor kid.

For Christin! Hope she and her family are all better soon!

Since we're sharing recipes today, I thought I'd share the LC version of hot spiced tea that is so good on these cold days. This recipe makes a huge batch that you can enjoy all winter.

3 Tubs Crystal Light orange drink
2 Tubs Crystal Light lemonade
3/4 cup instant tea mix
1.25 cups bulk splenda or other sweetener
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice

Use 1 Tbl +/- per 8oz cup of hot water. So delicious!

Off Topic - Please Pray!

Would you all mind praying for my brother in law (Bill). My sister (Karen) called in hysterics that something has happened to him. She doesn't know what - maybe heart attack? She is rushing to the hospital.

I hate waiting. She is many, many miles and hours away from me
