I am very suspicious of this. Let's pick it apart. First of all, the author is basically saying never mind what you saw on the Mike and Julia show. All is well after all. Then the author gets a jab in on SWSNBN, saying she could have done a better job defending the plan. One of the mantras of the KK program is that it saves people from WLS. It is often portrayed as people's last resort. They tug at the heartstrings talking about being afraid they won't be around to see their child grow up. How many times have we heard that?

Lastly, I am highly suspicious that she calls it a "WOE". That is a term only seasoned internet users use. My guess is that it's

Ok, I finally made it through all these threads. I am sooo upset right now.
I did Atkins in 2003 lost 100lbs, I stalled big time and decided to listen to kimmer and do her thing. well in no time at all, I became weak, fainting, angry, shakey, dizzy. My hair fell out. I was still overweight but was sick as hell. I stopped low carb all together. I have been seeing Drs ever since with complications with blood sugar and kidneys ect... I gained all my weight back plus some...
I started LC again on the 1st. I was and still am afraid to really do low carb. I am skipping the introduction part, just to keep from getting sick again. I know kimkins was not a real low carb woe. I know how to eat right, I just got sucked in to think I could drop more faster.
I am so angry right now. How could she knowingly mess with us like this!
Sorry this is all new to me and I can't believe what has happened. I wish I would have known then what I know now.

Kristin! I know it has to be a shock. Many of us were duped.

Bill is in ICU. They found him in the hall with a cut behind his ear and a something else, I can't remember now, and he was disoriented. They THINK he fell and hit his head, but as he is a psychiatric nurse it is possible that someone hit him. Anyway, they are going to keep him in overnight and are running tons of tests on him. He is a mucky muck with the Army, so I have NO doubt he will be well checked out.

Anyway, thanks for the emergency prayers and please continue to remember him as the Lord lays him on your heart!

Since we're sharing recipes today, I thought I'd share the LC version of hot spiced tea that is so good on these cold days. This recipe makes a huge batch that you can enjoy all winter.

3 Tubs Crystal Light orange drink
2 Tubs Crystal Light lemonade
3/4 cup instant tea mix
1.25 cups bulk splenda or other sweetener
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice

Use 1 Tbl +/- per 8oz cup of hot water. So delicious!
