The Truth About Size Zero

Online Video: The Truth About Size Zero (Louise Redknapp) | Veoh Video Network

Louise’s size 0 ’experiment’ - Jan 5 2007

Former Eternal crooner Louise Redknapp has apparently admitted that she risked her health to slim down to a size 0 for a TV show.

The 32-year-old mum-of-one, who is married to football pundit Jamie, 33, says she spent a month on starvation rations at a boot camp in Los Angeles, according to The Daily Star.

Normally a trim size 8, the model went on a crash diet to see what it’s like to be a skinny waif. Famous celebrities, who famously boast a size 0 frame, include Victoria Beckham and Nicole Richie.

The blonde says the experiment left her a wreck - she had no energy, trouble sleeping and lost her libido.

She said: "I’ve felt pressure to be stick-thin and wanted to highlight the damage young girls can do to their bodies.

"I hope my experiment helps people to see the real dangers of the extreme skinny look."

The show, The Truth About Size Zero, will be screened on ITV1 later this year.

Urgent prayer needed!

Please pray if you are a praying person! Christin and her family have been in a serious car accident and have been air lifted to various hospitals. This is all on Becky's "Pitching My Tent" thread at Jimmy's. Please be in prayer about this situation.

ETA: Here is the exact message from Christin's Mom:

this is chritins mom writing on my phone. c and her dh and children have been in a terrible car wreck. life fighted to different hospitals. kids and dh seem to be stable. c is still unconscious. please pray. if anyone can, please call deni and becky. I don't know if I can pm on my phone. thank you.

For the Creamsicle Fans

Here is a great recipe........

Orange Dreamsicle Jello Salad

Serving Size : 8

2 small packages sf orange jello
1 can DelMonte Carb Clever peach chunks (drained and chopped)
1/2 cup sf Davinci syrup (simple syrup or orange syrup or a combination)
1 cup water (boiling)
1/2 cup Nestle orange splash flavored water (couldn't find this so I use the Minute Maid Tropicana Lite Orange drink)
1 can LAND O LAKES™ Sugar Free Whipped Heavy Cream
1 carton LC vanilla yogurt -- (6 oz)

In a 2 quart mixing bowl, whisk jello with 1 cup boiling water till dissolved.

Add Davinci syrup, flavored water and yogurt and whisk until smooth.

Refrigerate till partially set, about 40 minutes, then fold in the peaches and whisk in the entire can of LAND O LAKES™ Sugar Free Whipped Heavy Cream.

Pour into a 2 quart casserole or a 9 x 13 glass dish whichever suits your serving needs.

Cover and refrigerate for several hours.

I have come back here- a former member of kimkins. Today for breakfast I had 3 eggd, 2 oz ham, 1 sl bacon 1 ounce of cheese. That is about as far from KK one could get!

Yesterday I had a protein shake, chicken/steak faghitas, chicken scampi and a glass of white wine

This morning I was down 1.4 lbs.

No more starving of feeling bad for feeling hungry anymore.

Hope the be_atch goes to jail. Maybe she could lose weight in there. I am really mad about this.....

On MSN's popular searches, Kimkins diet was listed, so I clicked it. Anti-kimkins sites didn't show up until about 6 sites down, even with all your efforts. But imagine how much worse it would have been if you hadn't put in all your work to put the truth out there. I think Mike and Juliet's show did indeed create more interest. Darn!

My prayers, too, are with Christin and her family.

Yes, we all need to pray for Christin/family. I think they live near Dallas, so it might be in the papers there..Sherburne is her last name..Pray that she will wake up and be totally healed. She has a very strong faith and many prayer warriors in that family.

Ok, through a mutual local friend I have heard that Christin and Brian are both in stable condition at the same hospital, and the kids have been released to her sister Kim and are at home. Apparently they were on their way home from a family event and had a three car collision involving a rollover (not sure if it was them that rolled). Christin is pretty banged up, but no broken bones for either of them. Neither remembers what happened or who was at fault or anything.

Praise God that they are okay and that the kids are fine!

I will let you know more as I learn it.

Update on Christin from Jimmy's:

Just heard that they are expecting to be released today. Banged up but otherwise okay. Apparently they were life-flighted because they were in a rural area and needed to get to the hospital quickly.

Prayers and warm wishes are still appreciated!
