And while we're at it (sorry if this has already been attended to, Tom), it's time Kimmer's diet contained in the archives be put under lock and key, and only those with a valid reason for looking be given access. There is enough info on the Fascination thread for anyone save the Courts to find out just how deficient it was and how she promoted it.(Strike "was", make that "is".)

they are called bulletins---but they only go out to those on your friend list--many people on myspace just go around collecting friends from everywhere--especially popular types like rock groups and stuff---especially the spammers---you are able to disable many things on your own site to keep this from happening---but links on your page get noticed and picked up---you can even leave comments on your own page----

And while I am being nastily suspicious here ... we're all looking for Heidi to set up a new site, right? It occurred to me that it may already be up and functioning, and that she is using KK as the diversionary site! Think about it. There are few people left, her stats photo is static, and ithe site is being heavily monitored. Plus she has already taken THEIR money and needs a fresh cash infusion. Loyalty to her KK subscribers is a great deal to ask under the circumstances. Remember, this is Heidi we're discussing.

For those who set up Google Alerts (thanks, Bama, I didn't know it was that easy), think up some key phrases to check for. There's Kimkins.com, obviously. No faster diet ... lose a pound a day ... celebrity diet ... and I'm sure she's avoiding them. But I've been guilty of overestimating her intelligence before. Any more catchy phrases to hook the unwary?

SMP: I do wonder how many active peeps are posting on the KK site? Yes, she certainly could be setting up another site, but she would have to use "another" name other than Kimkins..cuz that would be too easy to find on the net. I'm sure the LCF detectives would find her for sure..

Nady: I checked this out and I highly doubt it..It is a totally different diet, probably eating lots of calories one day (with carbs galore), then the next day not eating much, etc..

I think Kimmer would stick to the Kimkins plans, but with a different name, maybe..Just my thoughts.

Actually, I think this one's been around for a while. Tippy tried it as "cycling"; Tom Venuto refers to it as carbing up and down, and multiple meals. There are lots of versions on the Net that bodybuilders use.

Other than their slam at low carb diets, a quick glance through seems 100% opposite to Heidi's. Not that she can't change her approach, but this one's already been taken.

But basically it's selling what researchers have been discovering - keep the calories high to avoid metabolic slowdown, eat small amounts several times a day to keep metabolic fires burning on maximum, shake things up so your body doesn't adjust. What's worth the $$$? It's all here on LCF in one form or another.

I would absolutely expect that Heidi is already knee deep in a new site. Gotta be ready for the new year. And, not to resurrect old dead horses, that is precisely why sites like MCD came under so much scrutiny. Heidi herself alluded to the idea that she has been doing this for 23 years - different names, different faces. Nobody really thinks something as silly as a little old civil law suit is going to stop her, do they?

Other phrases: well, she is totally committed to VLCD, so low carb, low calorie, low fat work for me ...

I have another idea ... I'm off!

Scammers live for the opportunity to get away with it - it's their raison d'etre. And half a lifetime spent on the wrong side of the law is telling! Good suggestions, but very general. She has to stand out in some way; so look for outrageous or excessive claims. Hurry back with whatever you've thought of.

Please tell me that attorneys are onto the fact that she's likely to pack up and start somewhere else. Unless she did everything in someone else's name, there would be records of it - bank records, website registrations, corporate records, contracts, etc. That would all be accessible to the lawyers now, I would think. I hope they're doing periodic checks to see if her name or SSN pops up anywhere new.

Also, didn't they freeze a specific amount of her money? Or did they freeze her whole bank account? I thought I remembered it was a specific amount, but I'm not sure if that was everything she had. I'll bet she's still got operating cash available to her. You know her lawyer probably warned her that her assets might be frozen. She's probably squirreled away enough cash for her next venture, if she didn't outright set it all up and pay for it beforehand. I just don't know how she's going to get money from it if she can't be linked to it in any way.
