If they are saying something truthful and useful, then consider it. If not, ignore it. I see no point in following people around the internet to see what they might have written elsewhere.

I think there's a communication breakdown here. I only posted the other day because I thought that I saw some things as an outsider that perhaps people too close to all of this could not see.

But now I see that no matter what is said, many will not listen. It will just be written off as trolling or people who want to help kimmer or whatever.....though I can't imagine too many people wanting to help Kimmer at this point.
Lola: No one was following people around the internet to see what they were posting. Vandy's post was forwarded to a few of us via PM's. Now if one person belongs to a site that Vandy belongs to and ran across her bragging post and took offense to it - that's not our doing. I wasn't even aware what forums Vandy belongs to and could care less. She actually took delight in the chaos she created on this forum so therefore I call her a pot-stirrer and troublemaker.

Remember your "ignore" button.
Hmmn. This is exactly why some have referred to a mob mentality about a few vocal posters on this thread.

Even disagreeing politely gets one called a "troll" or suggested that their posts should be ignored.

Ignoring opinions and information contrary to what you believe or would like to believe isn't exactly evidence of a "search for truth"...but I will agree that ignoring people who disagree with you is better than stalking them across the internet. So I guess I should feel fortunate.

NOT TRUE LOLA!

I may be a bit of a derelict sometimes, but I have a huge interest in what you have to say as an outsider who wants to contribute.

There are sadly people like fawn who still believe in heidi and want to help her.

Okay, that is better than following Vandy around as I imagined was the case after her post was posted here today.

But still, what's the point of posting her post on this thread?

It doesn't help your lawsuit. It doesnt help shutdown kimkins.com. It doesn't help people affected by kimkins.

I personally think what Vandy had to say here yesterday was valid. If you don't, okay....but it doesn't really need to go any further than that.

But don't worry...I'm going to stop posting here. You don't want to hear the sort of things that I have to say.

I think you are sinking yourselves and it's time to exercises some discipline instead of posting any and everything for entertainments sake. Hopefully you all will see that before it's too late. I wish you well.

Well thanks.

That makes me feel better. But I will still shut myself up now.

I think you all have a lot to consider over what was written by everyone over the last few days.

Hopefully everything will work itself out the way it needs to.

so, tell me, if I refer to someone as snippy flitz, is that name calling or just really bad spelling?
I gotta figure all this out by new years for that resolution thing
A log cabin in the woods? I shall not covet, I shall not covet ... I live in the country with an incredible view, but would still love to be in a log cabin in the woods ... snow gently falling ... fire crackling in the fire place - you don't mind me taking a little poetic license here and designing my own scenario, do you?

Anyway, the snippy flitz thing would all depend on the context. And who happened to be looking over your shoulder.

Yes, I am sure many of you are working really hard. And I think that it's is immeasurably useful to have so many heads to put proverbially together on this thread.

I just think that this being a PUBLIC thread people need to be more disciplined and careful with what they say for the following reasons:

1.) Because the public is reading it and forming opinions and will get a negative opinion of your movement and just think "oh well...kimmer is a crazy nut, but these people suing her are too"...and not want to help. You never know who might be reading the thread and how they might help you. Google of kimmer brings you right to this thread.

2.) Because all of the sniping and silliness is using up energy that could be devoted to organizing, moving forward, etc.

3.) Because Kimmer is reading this thread. Enough said.

4.) Because innocent people might get hurt by somethings written here. Words have a lot of power and seem to have a special amount of power on the internet and especially on this thread because of all of the good work that has been done here.

Those are the points I've tried to make and nothing else.

Vandy's post was quoted here to prove that our suspicions were correct. She even proved it with her post on the TT site. She basically was out to have fun and provoke. That is not heartwarming. Now you know why some members are cautious and put on their armor when a person comes on so strong.

Yes, there is over 300 acres, and a huge fireplace and the heat from it makes me sleepy.

In the morning there are deer that come across the property, and there are different birds that come onto the deck to peck at the bird feeder. Wood peckers, doves, and squirrels all fight for the seed.

There is a fresh water pond out back for fishing, as well as a canal out the front, with docking for a boat.

It's a horror flick - someone could totally come here and kill me and no one would hear my screams

It's all about perspective

Hey Lola. We disagree. Posting your point over and over and over isn't going to change my mind...nor that of some others (I am guessing anyway). So can we let it drop or are you just trying to get a reaction? Are you bored? Is there anything we can help you with that does not involve beating a dead horse?

I agree with what you are saying. I think most people would come here to help you all. Truthfully, I just can't imagine too many people coming here and saying "well let me see how I can help Kimmer."

Once you read the story, it's clear who is in the wrong here.

It's just that some things on these threads just should not be tolerated.

I can completely understand the armour that you all have up based on how things were probably in the past...but maybe it's time to let it down a bit.

You have proven that Kimmer is a fraud. I think everyone believes you.

Exactly Cheryl. We are accused of being suspicious. We post evidence that our suspicions were correct. Then we are scolded for posting the proof. That tells me this isn't about our actions at all. It is just a smear campaign. An attempt to make us shut up and be quiet. An attempt to distract us because the truth is out there and nobody wants anyone to know about it.

Kimkins was a cash cow. There appears to be different attempts to clone the cash cow and put some lip stick on it.

I agree with you ..... but I question #4 and the word "innocent". Vandy had alternative motives all because she was in Ketosis? #2 is what we are all after - so why aren't those few posters coming here with ideas on organizing, moving forward?

Actually Cheryl, some people have but the "you guys are mean!" posts are getting all of the attention and the "Hey, why don't we try this to get the word out!" posts are being lost under the huge volume of back and forth between parties. My last post was of the later and I posted it just two days ago, but it has been lost under 11 pages of thrust and parry.

ALL- I have an opinion and while it may not be fun or profitable, it would be nice if we could get mass attention diverted to A) getting people to join the lawsuit and B) warning off the New Year Resolution junkies from Kimkins before they end up binging, hairless and feeling like they've been hit by a bus.

Awesome idea. Anyone who has a blog, maybe make a post about resolutions...and how many people end up throwing their money away on exercise gadgets that don't work, and diets that can hurt you (like Kimkins).

I have been thinking about doing something like this but had not gotten around to it yet. Now is as good a time as any.
