I'm planning my route already for the 26th - the stores open at 1:00 p.m. and people are in front of the electronics stores camping out by midnight the night before. Now remember that many of these stores are not in malls. And it's winter in Canada. We're hardy folk when it comes to shopping!

Oatmealyumyum,
I went to your site and read your Q&A section....there is a difference between ketosis and ketoacidosis...you said you had DKA because of some diet in high school? Were you treated with IV fluids and insulin? That's the therapy for it. I am a doctor and have treated this deadly condition.
Are you diabetic? You can PM me if you don't want to discuss this in this thread. Anyway you cannot become addicted to it, like you said Singing Lass is. She may be addicted to the feeling of deep ketosis.
Here's how it goes: Ketone build up fed state= 0.1mmol/liter
Overnight fast = 0.3 mmol/l, Lowcarb induction= 1-3 mmol/l, >20 days fasting =10 mmol/l, DKA =25 mmol/l
As you can see there is a difference. By the way all cells except red blood cells, retine and cornea cells, use ketones for energy. They are not destructive except to those cells if they build up.
Sorry if everyone else already knows this stuff.

You're welcome bamagal,
I just get a bit urked when I see this bad info over and over.
As for me I am considering cycling between cinnamon toothpicks and bologna/cheese diets..but ha ha I saw them here and won't pay a cent to anyone's site.
As for this campcarbaway crap...we ex-kk-ers will do as we please, and I like it here and at eatinglow. I don't need to be protected from anyone. Thank you very much!

I don't see that the $19.95 fee is for 'lifetime' membership. Maybe it's a yearly or quarterly thing? I do know that I'd be ticked to pay it and then get banned for anything other than a 'threat' or 'grossly vulgar' TOS situation.

edited to add: of course, how many folks read the fine print before they accept the terms and conditions of a site?

I think it has been made clear (beyond clear) that it is all about the $$$ for Tippy, at the expense of morality.

I think for HeidiHo the money was always secondary to the narcissistic power trip.

She might have money now but you can bet she's not happy, she's still an alcoholic, she has no friends, she has no husband, her health is terrible, she doesn't know her grandchildren and her sons have no respect for her.
Thanks for the explanation, HDR. I went back and read that you also answered my question about her fake "after" picture that she used here for years. I always knew it wasn't her AFTER picture, but I suspected it was HER when she was younger. What NERVE she had!

I can understand why she would not get close to women. Women are hard to fool, and she had so very much to hide. She sure did hurt alot of women over the years, thats for sure.

I did that and went farther then that. There were some things revealed to me that I can't share, but because of them I MUST make this post.

I retract my acceptance of Becky's apology. I also would like to Apologize to anyone that I might have offended AND Hurt with my post. I wrote it in haste and with my own desire of wanting everyone to unite. I am deeply sorry for that and TRULY regret it.

To Becky. I realize now that we truly were never on the same Mission.

I leave you and Deni with this:

Mark 4:22

And that's All I am going to say.

I have had people ask me what I ment in all this through PM's. I didn't answer them, because I was still looking and frankly still dealing with being sick to my stomach over this. Oh, and thanks for the PM, Deni.

You want to know why I feel this way now? As I said, I took Yucky's advice that was in Medusa's blog. The advice was to look at Becky's posts here on LCF and also at ALC. I'm not a member at ALC (by the way, the do alot of stuff on Kimkins too). So I searched here. Didn't really find anything.

It seems that the answers were hidden in plain site in the blogs of Becky, Deni, and Christin. That is where I (and others) started looking. Look for yourselves and make sure your have your time lines correct. Look through them with new eyes, and not the eyes of people who "Thought" that the girls listen to all of our hard work over here and that's why they got out. Because THEY didin't!!

Becky's rant makes sense to me now, also her hatred of LCF. You see, she never was one of us nor did she have the same agenda. We were fighting against the Fraud, lies and worried about the health of those people doing kimkins.

She did not "give up" Her position, salary and business. She was locked out and all she could think about was her PAY. Christin was fired. It wasn't because they dared to make things right. It wasn't because they listened to us and "Saw the light". NO such noble thing.

Go to Becky's old blog with her conversations with Kimmer. Becky is trying to make Changes and bugging Kimmer about it to SHUT US UP!!! It's not because she actually believed us. We were causing problems and it was effecting everyone's paychecks. It was effecting the Kimkins site. Members there were getting upset, scared.

That's why they got Sacked! No one is going to tell Kimmer what to do.

Becky knew in April (the beginning of the end) with what Kimmer did to Cutie and kiki and did nothing about it? In August she was locked out? But she was on a mission for the "Truth" the entire time? That's an awful long time.

How did she help those people in kimkins? She was just worried after getting locked out if Kimmer was going to pay her or not. It's in her own blog.

All 3 blogs (if you look at their old ones) They were no where NEAR seeing the light. They were playing games trying to get us to SHUT UP and not ruin the Cash cow.

Deni was not sacked nor locked out. Christin and Becky had to talk her out.

So, here you have the "US" against "They". It has always been there. Now you see The reason for Becky's rant. She is still pissed at us. It's actually OUR Fault (in her mind) that they got sacked.

Oh, the MCD lady? Again, Becky was so pissed that we would even look at another diet site like that. WHY? Because she doesn't actually see anything wrong with it. She was never on the same mission as us (looking out for those who have been taken advantage of). She can't even "See" why we would be upset over MCD. Because she never saw the Light nor left Kimkins of her own choice. It was OUR fault she left. With all the digging and pressure we caused.

Becky doesn't Get it. She didn't have a problem with people paying for a site with a bad diet, bad advice, fake pictures etc. In fact, I bet she would still be there if she had not been locked out. Hey, she was going to have a "Store" at kimkins.
The only problem she had was with Us. We were rocking the boat, and she was trying to make changes to SHUT US UP...Not to help those at kimkins.

Also, isn't it funny that everything get's pointed back to Kimmer. No reconciblity for her own actions. Always trying to shut us up and get us to go back to Kimmer. Even to the point of Rants and trying to Shame us.

I see why now. If we focus on Kimmer, we won't see this other stuff that we missed, thinking they had seen the light.

Sorry, Becky...WE don't need YOU. YOU actually need US. You see, we were on the mission of truth all along. So, our words aren't flowery enough for ya eh? I would much rather someone be harsh with the truth then give me flowers with a bunch of B.S. and a knife in the back.

Don't Pee on my leg and tell me it's raining and expect me to smile, say "thank you" and clean up YOUR mess.

It ain't Happening!

Doing us a favor with the lawsuit? All your work? Umm...You need to do all that, to protect your own butts. Because you all three were knee deep into it and never listened to us. You had to be Forced out (except for Deni).

It's called RESPECT. You have shown No RESPECT to LCF and by God we DESERVE IT!!!!!!! Not because we are perfect, but Because "WE" Have always been in it for the Truth. Not on how it "LOOKS" to Everyone else. Not to SAVE our own Butts.

And WE even tried to Help all 3 of you the entire time. WE tried to warn you the entire time!! But, WE were only a Pain in your butts and in your own eyes the REAL cause of all your problems.

And yeah...I'm Mad and still sick to my stomach.

(((((((((((Tooter)))))))))))) It's been a rough road of realizations the past few days.. hang in there.. as they say, the truth shall set us free

I just wanted to add.. that recently, having been almost commanded by certain folks to "Accept TT" and "be nice to TT" because "we" need her... now makes a WHOLE LOT more sense in light of TT's plan to charge for access to her website. No wonder someone didn't want TT alienated from the community... duh.

And to theTRUTH - TT is also on a psychotic power trip.. just as bad, if not as intelligently, as Heidi is / was.

Thanks for clearing that up...I have also read the water fasting stuff...ridiculous. No wonder people were fainting and had their hair fall out. I was trying to keep from laughing about Heidi's bit about how she fasted three months! You cannot do that and keep moving. People that fast move very little if they fast that long.
Starvation is wrong. She must be stopped. Have you joined the lawsuit?

Tooter,
I went over to Jimmy's and read the tent thread...I'm glad you have cleared this up for me. I was fooled in believing the "explanations", by those parties. If more people would read as you have and disect the timeline it would clear it up for them. Thanks again,

I haven't read to the end of this thread, so maybe someone mentioned this already, but Martin recently posted something intended to shame the fascination thread participants to shut up and go away as well. Something along the lines of (seriously paraphrasing): "well this was fun at first, but it has gone too far, you all need to get a life now." It makes me wonder if he's getting nervous about something too. I'm sure when he and Catherine started this off they had NO idea that it would take on a life of its own to this extent. They did a lot to help this cause in the beginning, and then they stopped, and finally Martin made his post about telling us it was time to stop. Maybe ya'll are getting too close for comfort on some issues?

Yet now when I look on his site I can't find the post he made about this. Someone, please tell me I'm not crazy -- the post was there!

It wasn't long enugh to go that deep and go to the hospital thank goodness and thanjk you for enlightening me.
I know doctors but there education LOL just doesn't rub off on me.
I am not an expert and I am always willing to lean. I do want to be a trainer some day but a trainer will never know as much as a doctor or Nurse practitioner.
Yes I do feel Singing lass is way addicted to Ketosis a lot of the ex kimmer members said they experience the same.

I haven't just checked - but I was pretty sure I saw something similar in the past couple of days somewhere --- is he the slamboard guy? I've clicked on a few random links in the past week and t
