My guess would be that after the depo Brandon and figure out his envolvement in this they might even freeze his accounts because in my opinion she is using his accounts.

It can't be that difficult to follow the money trail. Doesn't seem right that she's still able to collect (read: BILK FROM) the onslaught of New Year's dieters when the court has ordered all her accounts frozen.

Course, I suppose it might lend more evidence to her deceptive and underhanded tactics.

If Kimmer is hiding money she's taking in now, she's even dumber than I thought. I'm not saying I'd put it past her! But, it would be an incredibly STUPID move! No way will John not dig that info up. Checks leave a paper trail.

Heidi Diaz will continue to take the money of consumers as long as she is able to operate a website. The freezing of her assets I thought was done to keep her from hiding or spending all the money Kimmer had acquired thus far. Depending upon the outcome of the lawsuit I would think that the frozen accounts would just have to cover the plaintiffs claims and attorney fees. Since this is a civil case heidi diaz would be able to continue to run the kimkins.com, even if found guilty. At least that has been my understanding of the proceedings. So before the lawsuit, she is definitely going to be able to take in new members, unfortunately.
It does seem so blatantly wrong. But like you said the upside is that it will allow heidi to show some other tricks up her sleeve.

ETA- Hey mayberry are you looking at me. It looks like we are doing that brady bunch thing that they do at the opening of the sitcom. You know in their little "hollywood square" type photos..........

It just doesn't make sense to me, though. Freezing one's assets means freezing ALL assets, which would be a complete halt on all website sales. It's outrageous that she's making money hand over fist right now!

I'm sorry, I'm just thinking out loud, here. I'm sure the ones with the correct answers are not at liberty to discuss. Thanks for your answers, though.

ETA- Since this is still a pending class action lawsuit the frozen assets were done by a writ of attachment. As I previously said it is based on a total that is determined based on the plaintiffs refund amount and the value was granted as follows:
Writ of attachment for $1,618,965.22 again to cover the members who would be entitled to a refund. Members who signed up afer nov 2007 are not eligible under this class action lawsuit.
Assets include
Citibank acct.
Nations back acct.
Real Estate $440,000
paypal acct for Kimkins.com
accounts receivable at kimkins.com

the writ of attachment deals with the freezing of assets.

Perhaps instead of dwelling on the health (teenagers believe they are are invincible and immortal), or even the $$$ they'll lose when the place is shut down/they get banned/finally believe it's a dangerous diet, perhaps focusing on the beauty aspect would be a better idea.

Show pictures of what Heidi really looks like after all these years of knowing the perfect, fastest way to lose weight (close ups on her complexion aren't out of line either, along with a few full body shots), be sure to mention her baldness, and that severe hair loss is a typical side effect of the diet.

Because what are teenage girls interested in besides boys and clothes? Having a lithe body, lush, beautiful hair, and smooth, clear skin, right?

But hey, hair has to weigh something too, doesn't it?

When you get an ip address/website name, some of the compaines offer this service- basically when you try and do a whois on the address, the company's name comes up instead of the actual owner. Plus if this website is out of country, there is most likely no way to take it down. A lot of devious websites are out of the country for that reason

I'm considering adding the cycling option to M&M. Now don't be running off, starting "camp methaway." I know that you support my plan, but after the holidays I'm having a little credit card trouble, so I need to cut your pay for a while. Oh, and the price will be going up on the plan, so hopefully I can pay you down the road. back to Heidi's frozen assets---

I don't know how this case works---but I know we had a case here in Alabama---where this big guy went to trial had his assets frozen---but he was still able to pay daily living expenses and expenses related to his business out of it---

maybe that would explain just one reason why Teidt would want all the records for affiliates---it has already been proved that she was using fake names as affiliates and taking the cut for herself---that would be one way for her to skim extra money off the top---to hide for sure....
