Also the Dr. Phil statement "we can't change what we don't acknowledge ... " would serve her well if she did some soul searching (continuing to lie to her members, attorneys, etc.) Nothing has changed except she's under a microscope now.
Nah, Cheryl, she just indirectly stated she won't be posting any more pix of herself for a very long time. Either that, or her tags lie as well.

Whoever said she had a skewed idea of body weight and size got it right. The last time I was in a 16 , I weighed 170. Sizes have changed since then, but not THAT much.

I am 215 and I am wearing an 18. I can fit in a relaxed fit 16, but not comfortably yet. By the time Kimmer gets in to a 16, I should be wearing a size 12...LOLOLOL

If I recall correctly (and don't quote me because I'm a senior citizen ) she discovered that cycling with KK/Atkins is what made her start losing again. I thought that was after she was on KK. Maybe someone has a screen shot of the post when she first started talking about cycling.

TT's first post at KK:

Why I am here with "Kimmer" 1 Year, 6 Months ago I am here because Atkins quit working for me. I lost 50 lbs the first year and then Whamm--what the "others" called a stall hit. After months of gaining and re-losing the same 5 lbs over and over, I whinned enough that a friend "Gettenthere" (who will soon join us!) showed me how to do Atkin's Fat Fast. That is a nasty little plan of 1000 calories a day with 90% from fat. Very little food. However, it worked so I would use it for a few days each month to move off a few lbs...then return to Atkins to maintain the loss. Now I have lost 80lbs but this has now taken me two years--and I have not reached goal yet. "Gettenthere" found Kimmers and once again helped me remove my weight loss hurdles. I tried it for one day and when I weighed the next morning I almost fainted! Three pounds less! So I am sticking with her plan (and with her) because no one else had the strength or knowledge to challenge low carb "rules". I sent Kimmer a pic of myself at 186 in a bikini--right before I tried her plan. I am going to REAL BIKINI weight now, thanks to Kimmer! She can post my before and after Kimmer pics anywhere she likes! Yep, there will be AFTER pics, after all! I intend to make Kimmer proud!

first mention of cycling:

Maintenance on Atkins 1 Year, 6 Months ago OK, I'll be honest here. I am going to do this thing. However, I miss my "Atkins ways". Can I lose a little and go back to Atkins to maintain my loss? And after a week back on Atkins, can I come back and keep alternating? I do understand I cannot over-due the fats but sometimes a girl has to have a fatty steak, a lobster with real butter, bacon...Well, you get the idea. Will this work?

Kimmer's response:

Of course!

Maintenance is individual for everyone. So, whether we pick an Atkins type maintenance, South Beach or stuff from Weight Watchers ... that's how we keep our weight where we want it.

What is maintenance? Adding back carbs. Pure and simple, that's it for every single plan.

What's the difference? It depends on what you prefer. As I've shared, my maintenance carbs are unlimited veggies, fruit and yogurt. I skip the "whites" because they are so much higher carb I'd have to trade fruit ... that's not for me.

When we get near goal, this is the perfect time to experiement. Figure out what you miss most, try a .25 or .50 cup serving (depending on calories). Wait a day and see. Try again.

It's all trial & error no matter which plan. Hey, you know how many people would be dying to have your "problem"?

she was doing it in June...note the LCF comment...

KE Challenge...begins Monday, June 19, 2006 1 Year, 6 Months ago Diana, you look so cute with your little pom-poms!

Mel! 5 lbs is excellent! I lost 3 lbs overnight the first round of Kimkins. Have you thought much about a maintenance plan? You WILL NEED ONE! KUTGW!

Robin, you're welcome about the Atkins post. Truth is, the truth was withheld from me by lcf for a long time. I was told when I qut losing to up carbs, lower carbs, hang in there and it will break, etc... All was a BIG bunch of BS. The truth was finally told to me by Gettenthere. She and I did the fat fast until she found Kimmers. They said we would ruin our _meta_bolisms, lol! Um, hello, when I gained 100 lbs maybe I ruined it then? So, I follow Kimmers and lose weight and they stick to Atkins and don't. Here is my take on it.

I am not a V8 anymore. Accordinly, I cannot hold the same amount of gas without a spillage. I do not need the gas to run a V8 because I lost over 80 lbs and that made me a 6 cyl. Now I want to be a 4 cyl. I must use less gas... This is where Kimmer plans came in handy. Less "gas" didn't necessarily have to mean less food. But it DID mean less calories. Going against Dr. Atkins (had he lived longer he may have discovered this too) and following Kimmers plans I have reduced those calories by cutting back fats. Really, it isn't that hard to use fat free substitutes in most cases. Painless. And it is working! "I am not a V8 anymore".

However, the good news continues as I have learned that Atkins WILL maintain me! So when I need a break from a Kimmers run, I go back to Atkinsville. But, it sure is great to come to a Kimmer plan after a few days and start losing weight again!

duct tape as underwear...!

For me, I can now wear a size 14 if I buy at Wal*Mart. Today I weighed in at 205. Sizes aren't what they used to be. If I buy something brand new then buy the same size at a thrift store there is a huge difference. I remember when I was 150lbs and that would get me into a size 14. My neice is 265 and wears a size eighteen. The clothing manufacturers seem to vary their cuts a lot.

Exactly! Sounds like a great bargain to me. NOT!

But I really don't mind if she cuts off her nose to spite her face.

With all the free sites around, she's going to have a very hard time justifying that price when the only thing people say they are staying for is for the forum and the friends they have made there.

You can find that most anywhere without having to pay for it.
