Yes... but low carb "only works if you work it".... and you have really achieved something that not everyone is able to do. Again, congratulations.

Well... I'm off to sleep, it's late here....

and my eyelids.... are.... shutting.... as.... I type.... ZZZZzzzzzzz.....

Once again I am awed by the tenacity of the folks on this thread. You are truly inspiring. From the first thread to this last, you have fought the good fight with dignity and grace (for the most part...but emotions run high and who can blame you).
I believe when the final sugar cookie falls all your hard work will pay off! You are truly an impressive group of people.

I just wanted to say I take full responsibility for what happened on my board because I am the one that said Tippy could stay. I should have just said no when she told me who she was. I didn't really get a chance to think it thru and didn't have time to react to it because it happened so fast. I was posting the FYI post to my members literally at the same time people were posting the "hi tippytoes" stuff. It completely caught me off guard.

I just wanted to say - no, the posts themselves weren't the problem. Like you said, most were like "hi tippytoes" or "Leave tippytoes, no one wants you here" or whatever. My old members were upset that new people were signing up and telling Tippy to leave the board because to them it's "their" board. They've been with me since the start. To them, if someone is going to tell Tippy to leave the board it should be them not someone who signed up 2 seconds ago. While many members didn't want Tippy there and were upset by that, they also didn't want a bunch of strangers coming in and telling Tippy to get off our board either. Does that make any sense?

But I understand why people came over and that it was only natural for people to want to see what was going on and it is a public board so people are free to sign up and post.

I think it's hard to understand how truly boring and drama free my board has been unless you've been on my board for awhile (that's why we all come here when we need some excitement LOL). We are a teeny tiny board. Although I had about 800 people signed up on my board before this happened, 20 members on at one time is a big day for us so all the new signups had everyone on edge.

Again, the drama on the board is completely MY fault for saying Tippy could stay and if I had to do it over again, I should have just told her no.

I see there posts all the time over there. Sorry Amy....your people are not innocent in all this either.
Just caught up! I promised screen shots, and after the bombing I'm pretty sure this member has been banned:

Slick, I noticed that too. Maybe some kind of computer problem. I don't think she would get kicked off... she is to gung ho kimkins to make someone kick her off.How was your day???? I have been busy cleaning house and didn't get online until tonight either. Looks like everyone is busy today, no one has been on. Take care and i will talk to ya tomorrow!

looks like a lot of AmyB's group got booted?
I wonder how many members are still left over there and how many realize that so many are now gone.

Then as I was reading posts here trying to catch up it seemed that many were saying "sorry Amy" and of course that "TT is bad news". Now, I can understand feeling bad for Amy but I just got the impression that no one was questioning or challenging Amy on her comments, so thus they must be accepting her comment as a correct impression of what was going on. I wasn't get the same impression as Amy when I reviewed the posts there and it bothered me that I didn't see anyone asking her "who" or "what post" or "why do you say" that? But I felt that people were apologizing for me or really all of us who went over to Amy's and I didn't think it was needed. Especially, when you have TT saying how she guessed she should apologize but she wasn't exactly sure for what!

I think the apologizing was for how Amy was feeling. There's a lot of respect for her and I think it came from that. But, I don't know how it was expected to go any differently considering what TT has done. Taking her on you'd have to realize that people would speak out and be upset and want answers. It's a given.

ITA!! Exactly! That's what I feel, too.

Good Morning all!

I can't stay on here too long today, but I did want to ask for some assistance.

If all the bloggers could make mention of the event tomorrow on blog talk radio and provide a link

Internet Radio, Citizen Broadcasting, Social Media Podcasts - Blog Talk Radio

I would greatly appreciate it.

We're discussing affiliate marketing, but more importantly, I will be stressing the dirty stain that a site like Kimkins leaves on the web.

Willie's got some cookbooks, but I'll see if I can persuade him to get a good lowcarb cookbook together while I'm at it

I'm gonna go sign up for the webcast. I've been on Willie's recipe mailing list for a couple of years, and I had no idea what all he was into with internet marketing until very recently. Seems like a great guy with some great ideas, and some awesome energy to make things happen. We often have low-carb or "diabetic-friendly" recipes posted to that list - I contributed my SF Pumpkin Cheesecake recipe for Thanksgiving & got some other great ideas. Awesome list for those old-fashioned recipes & also restaurant "knock-off" recipes.

Just for the heck of it this morning, I signed up again for Kimmer's "Ten Reasons to Join Kimkins" email list. Just to see what has changed about it. Just got the first "reminder" and was shocked to see what has replaced Kimmer's red dress picture:

When I think of the number of times Christin and Deni have asked that she NOT use their pictures .... gah! That woman has no shame at all.

And she's still boasting the "No Exercise! No Supplements!" angle.

ADuckyMole ~ thanks for posting that screencap. When you see those two pics side by side, ain't no way in the world that "current" picture is accurate!

Kimmer = once a liar, always a liar, so it seems.

Another interesting thing I noticed ... I got a "Welcome" email, thanking me for join the "Ten Reasons" list and asking if I wanted to sign up for the Kimkins newsletter.

The return address for that newsletter promo was heidikdiaz@gmail.com. First time I've noticed that address in a communication from Kimkins.

ETA: The first installment of the "Ten Reasons" came from the webmaster@kimkins.com address that I've seen many times in the past.

That "Dennise" name....Wasn't there also a "Dennise Sharp(e)" in Zephyrhills, FL? It's an odd spelling. And it's a weird coincidence that Tippy lives in Zephyrhills. (of course, it's a coincidence that I live somewhat near there )

and the IRS angle, I've been saying for a while that I hoped they'd get involved cause it would mean a world of hurt for Kimmer. The IRS doesn't generally accept excuses - you have to be able to PROVE what you're telling them. Good luck with that Kimmer.

A member made a post just this last week about how they missed getting the newsletter. Kimmer said she missed it too, apparently the "tech guys" put it together? How can she miss it if she was authoring it?
