I'm so overwhelemed by every thing I've read (just a few threads) I just had to post. Some of you may not know me I've been Lcarbing since 2003 I've been mostly ignorant of facination thread till Cheryl pointed it out to me. Thank you Cheryl

The first thing I want to do is to sincerely apologize to each and every one of you who I stirred to wards the “ask kimmer” thread.

Please for give me. I would like to thank the Administration at LCF for their unrelenting efforts in keeping this forum scam free.

I want to apologize to the administration for giving them a trying time while I tried to promote Kimmer.

I would specially like to thank Cheri for helping me delete my promotion of Heidi. How gullible and foolish I’ve been.

I am sincerely sorry. I would also like to thank the efforts of the duck squad and every person who is/has participated in exposing Kimmer the diabolical, lying, deceiving con artist.

I will never be able to trust anyone like I used to. I feel violated. Wishing you all the best always.

Wild are you kidding me? Jeanessa I need a pm on this. If her assetts are frozen, is she now allowed to find another way to take money? I mean I was all for her soliciting checks via mail, because she is committing mail fraud, my atty and I had a long conversation about this and there was a recent case of his where a guy was busted for doing some illegal stuff, and when the feds asked him to send them all of his records he did it via usmail, they got him on mail fraud too. That's when I asked him about Heidi, he said "Let her keep doing that, she screwing herself." So I didn't comment on it, however now if she's taking cc's again, that's just messed up. Damnit!!!!

Thank you all for sharing your pain and your wisdom. I can't say that my childhood was a great one, either. My father was an alcoholic and physically abused my mom during his "episodes". My mother was an emotional and many times distraught woman. She had several nervous breakdowns and once tried to jump out the window. My brother and I were able to restrain her. She was in a few mental wards during her 50s and 60s. Perhaps the abuse she received caused her to verbally abuse me. I was always "stupid" and told I couldn't do anything right. When I was in my late 20s, I was able to truly forgive her. It took such a burden off me to release the resentment I had felt.

I have learned so much here, from all of you. The whole thread on forgiveness was amazing, and I think it does everyone credit that we can share different points of view.

I hope this thread never ends until Heidi is brought to justice. I never found any Russian bride, but I sure spent hours looking. I've ready each and every one of the 11 threads and have gone scrambling all over all the blogs for info on the latest news regarding Heidi. I have tried to help in any way I could and am proud to be a member of the duck squad. Thank you all for an incredible 5 months!

I saw the deposition video. That woman is over 300+ now!

But, I can tell you for a fact (personal experience) that enhancing diet coke with a shot or two of Captain Morgan will bring weight loss to a screeching halt. That is probably the one (only) thing Heidi was ever right about!

That was sort of my mom's response, too. I do stay in rather close contact with her at this point. So long as I don't try to "blame her" for anything, it's fine. One day she'll face her music. And I'll die believing I did all I could on my part.

Please note: My way is NOT right for everyone! It is absolutely vital in some circumstances for people to totally separate from their parents. My dh is now estranged from his entire family because of many of these same things. He finally decided that he was not going to subject himself or his family to their garbage any more (thank you, sweetie - thank you for protecting OUR son from their venom).

I don't know about you all, but I think the verbal abuse is deadly - those tapes can play on and on for a lifetime.

As for doing a great job of dealing with it all ... well, I'm still pretty dependent on approval from those that are closest to me, I'm still fighting to get this weight off, I still have to surrender each day and pray I don't turn out just like her. So, it is only by the grace of God that I deal with it, if you know what I mean.

Like Missi said - we do each have to make a choice - do I do it different, or do I become my abuser. Well, those aren't her exact words, but it's how I read them

All that being said - I'm not overweight because I had a bad childhood, I'm overweight because I'm a dang hog who loves food.

Ahem! <putting on my psychologist hat here> I disagree. Our birthright is to be strong and healthy, but growing up with the fear and uncertainty you did certainly has an effect. Food is safe. Food also tastes good. And now you blame yourself for your inability to resist it and call yourself names. You may think you've learned to love yourself, but when you finally do, food will assume ITS rightful place in your life. To start, stop demeaning yourself!
