Like several others on here, I joined Amy's site, and I did post a two word comment to Flippy. Threadjack: Um, yeah so it's a massive ice storm here today, which is why I had to run errands, get rock salt and food in case we lose power, but this is creepy. My windows are making the strangest noises. Not a big fan of the ice storm.

i feel sorry for Amy and her forum as they will all need time to heal and decide if they can accept somebody who has displayed the charactor flaws tippy has shown dealing wiht the kimkins scam as a person they want to be a member of their support network. Be tough to feel safe wondering if those flaws have been over come or are just waiting to consume them too.


And also for any new member joining cause if they are a kimkins refugee and if they didn't like tippy they will be thought to be one of the ducks and they will be doubted as real folk eating low carb.

Woofy you are telling on yourself here...because that is too much of a perfect description. So you have either been the sausage stuffed in a girdle before or you have been let's say unwrapping sausage before.

As far as everyone joining Amy's forum...in order to even read posts there one must join, so I'd have to say that the influx of new members there isn't because everyone is joining there to stir the pot...there are just some curious onlookers. I mean, really, can you blame us?

Sadly what you are saying is true. I hope the people over there don't take at face value what Flippy says. I know I wouldn't want to get too close to her given her association with Heidi.

And yeah, you're right. I think she'd go right back to Kimkins TODAY (if she has in fact left) if Heidi would pay her.

I will believe she's sincere when she contacts the attorney and agrees to come clean about everything she knows. Apologizing to people on the internet just isn't enough.

Amy, I have had your site bookmarked in my low carb forums folder for several months but until yesterday did not register and that was because I tend to lurk at a forum to see if it's a place I think I'd "fit in" before I register. But yesterday I did register under the same name I post with here. I haven't introduced myself yet, no. Maybe I won't, I'm not sure yet if I will participate. But your recipe section is quite extensive and it looks like something I'd like to be able to access.

I understand why you're upset, but you'd be making a mistake to think that just because a person registers and doesn't immediately post in an "Introduction" thread that they have ulterior motives. I for one, don't. If I have something to say about Kimkins or Tippy or SL or anyone else, I mostly do it here.

I wish you only the best of luck in handling this situation, and I think that speaks for most, if not all, of us at LCF.
