As far as someone from those sites having the foresight on Oct 12th, before the show aired, to use Jeannie Baitinger as an anchor text, I can't see it either. The reason being the fact that her real name is rarely used anywhere and who even knew her full name would be used in the show. SO that limits that theory I think, due to the fact that it was all before the show aired.

Actually, TarvosK and Kaiala were both in the Low-Carb Cook's Nook Chat last night. Sadly enough, they are both apparently happily following Kimkins with their doctor's approval (wonder what they actually told the doctor?), and didn't seem interested in my concerns for them.

I haven't seen any mentions of Tarvos from the kimkins.com site lately, and his blog has been silent for a long while now.

To put it in kimmer speak, he was too weak to do the program. He blogged about a month ago about gaining all of the weight he lost back plus some but said he was gonna start over that day....erm...that was about it, from what I know.

Actually funny you would mention the wizard of oz, heidi referenced that movie in one of her emails to singingass. Something about wondering if Ducky would give up after realizing all the help she has on her side, like when the witch is looking in the crystal ball talking about dorothy. So you see, in her mind she was dorothy, and not the wicked witch of the diet

BUT why would someone use Jeannie Baitinger as an anchor text to boost kimkins *instead* of using the terms Heidi Diaz or Kimmer? First. All the police department info & contact numbers are right out there in public at the city’s website & you damn well know it.

Second. The sergeant’s info & phone numbers were given freely by the sergeant himself to our source with full knowledge that our source is a reporter for various online weightloss news blogs — we have the emails, we know for a fact that she disclosed her i.d. & objective right up front in all correspondence with both officers.

Fourth. Nobody we know of here or on the other blogs or boards, not us, not our source, nobody, has harrassed any police officers. & to the best of our knowledge our source has been the only one in contact with those officers in that police department & in that city during the past couple of days.

Our source asked them to look into your allegations. They replied helpfully, promptly & graciously. Less than a dozen emails constitute the entirety of the exchange. Information about & answers to all questions put to the officers was provided.

But interestingly, when the Lieutenant was informed of the extent of the scandal & was asked for permission to quote something he had told our source, that’s when he made the statement (quoted above, in full) about being hesitant to get his department involved in a situation they know nothing about.

According to the sergeant, the police department has no record of any threats to you nor any record of any contacts from you to the police regarding any threats.

So who should we believe? Should we believe you — a known & willing associate of a proven con artist?

Or should we believe the law enforcement authorities against whom you in effect have set yourself?

Certainly nobody should believe us – we’ve got a proven track record of idiocy & nobody should take our word for anything.

Verify, verify, verify. And what better way to verify than to go to the source of the info — in this case, the law enforcement authorities who have sworn to protect & to serve? We’re pretty sure that includes protecting the American public from scammers & fake phone psychics.

Between my online Christmas shopping and already starting and freezing some of my Christmas baking, I'm having a hard time following this because I'm doing about five things at one time. Plus when you get to be my age, you don't overload the brain with anything other than what you need to get by, so I don't quite understand all that's been posted on this. I'm not even sure that I understand if it's good or bad that her name is coming up.

Also, you said October 12th, but did you mean Nov 12th? Wasn't that the date of the M & J show?

I swear, I need an administrative assistant just to keep track of all the Kimkins stuff.

Anyway ... is this something that would have benefited Flippy? On Nov 12th, SHE was the face of Kimkins. Maybe SHE got her name out there with the hope of starting her own site while Kimkins is mired in mud with the lawsuit? If she left KK voluntarily, why? TRULY why? To start her own site maybe? If she didn't leave voluntarily, I'm sure Flippy's very angry, and what better way to get back at the Kimmer than to try to start something on her own? After all, she isn't welcome anyplace else.

Melt was in fact, a very real person. I had to deal with her on a number of occassions, one of which ended with ME being banned because she wouldn't stop harassing me about my posts. I got to the point where I couldn't stand her because of how phony and misleading she was. She was the sort who would say something really mean or nasty, then counter with "it was just a joke, lighten up" when people approached her about it. And if YOU tried to joke with her, she'd end up being really offended and report you. She was also the one who stated, "Christ on a pogo stick, get over it," I believe.

That argument where I got banned happened in early to mid October. She was getting onto me about my posts that were trying to spread awareness about what could be potential side effects when participating in the Kimkins diet. In truth, I lost a good deal of weight while following it, but my "Kimkins plan" was modified. So, technically, it wasn't Kimkins. It was more like Atkins.

After her complaints and those of other people, I was banned because I guess, I wasn't trying to spread awareness, I was trying to spread anti-Kimkins slander. Which I wasn't, but people were very ban-happy then and had itchy ban-button trigger fingers.

Melt was later made an admin, then she supposedly turned down Kimmer and ended up being banned for reasons I don't remember (I think she got in an argument with Kimmer or something...or maybe it was a post...check Ducky's blog, it's on there). Many people were upset at the idea of Melt being an admin because she was such a b*tch, myself included. I was banned a few days later when I stood up for the Kimkins members and told the admins that they all deserved to know what was going on behind the scenes.

Anyway, yeah, Melt was real. I heard Tarvosk fell about two-hundred feet off the wagon and needed to get back on plan, or so he said. Don't know what happened after that.
