As for me here's who I am...a physician, a real MD, 17 years of school after high school. Board certified in Family Medicine ABFM, but I practice wound care and hyperbaric medicine exclusively.
I joined KK to lose some weight and followed her plan...lost 26 pounds.
Maintainence has been a chore but I keep at it. What I got from KK site was the support of a great group of gals, even Jimmy Moore joined us for a while, then fled.
Low carb eating is great if you do it right.

Actually... I always wanted to be the one that played Kate Jackson. I admired her straight, shiny, brown hair. Mine was brown, but kinda wavy/frizzy/fluffy.... and I was forever trying to get it to be straight/shiny/sleek like Kate Jackson's. I didn't want to be Farrah because I didn't want her fluffy hair, I had enough trouble taming my own fluff.

Everyone here knows that her address has been up at Ducky's now since Sept. 29th. SingingLass has posted that here herself several times. By me showing a green arrow on a map, in relation to the police department, and her address with the street house xxx'd out, is too much in what way? How is it different or new from what we already knew?
The only thing it shows that is new is that the Corvallis PD is 1.1 miles from her place of residence and that is what she doesn't like.

Not to far.. IMO - She should be grateful that Missi was not to miffed about her totally ignoring her direct questions and done a search and post pictures of her house ! LOL Even old ones form previous sales LOL ... kidding... Dont go there gurl!

One of the other nurses who worked with me in ICU had alopecia... but most people would never have guessed she was bald. I worked with her for over a year before I found out. I complimented her on her hair one day, told her it always looked so sharp. She just laughed and said "don't you know? It's a wig!" She then told me about her alopecia. I was so surprised, because I would never have guessed.

I think it was the way she acted and carried herself. She was so confident and classy. She had her own "look", it was unique and she capitalized on it. She wore a really cute wig, it was red hair with amazing highlights ... and her wig was very styled... she wore it cut into a cute, classy, "up to the minute" hair-cut. Her wig didn't look like an over-powering mass of hair sitting on her head like Heidi's does, instead it looked like something out of one of those hairdresser's magazines. I think because this nurse took the "less is more" approach with her wig, it looked more natural. She did have a thin fringe of bangs to disguise that she had no eyebrows... and she wore kind of smokey-lensed glasses to hide her eyelashes. But she was so confident and classy... we all admired her. And guys always tried to flirt with her.

FYI, a copy (PDF) of the "demurrer" filed by Hidey & Kim Kims is up on the court website now. It's 14 pages long and long story short: they basically claim that the complaint "fails to state a claim"as to class status, and each of the major claims made in the Complaint. Some of the details are infuriating to read - if I can find some time tomorrow I'll try and do a little summary.

I interpret this as a stalling tactic - they claim the complaint was not specific enough for them to even answer. Personally, I think it's a bunch of crap, more game-playing, stalling. The arguments are paper thin (along with the legal citations to back them up) and if you get the big picture (as I'm sure the judge will), it's clear they're just squirming around & stalling for time to get out of filing an answer. Also, this injects a (needless) step into the litigation.

This document does not appear to be the same quality of work that's being done for the Plaintiffs AT ALL - in my humble opinion.

What does my liking Harry Potter or that I draw/ paint fairies and angels have to do with any of this? What does where I live, what my hair color...anything have to do with this? Try to switch this around and think what it would be like to wake up tomorrow morning to people invading your privacy and safety in that way, jumping over any scrap of information they remotely think is linked to you. It is obsessive and scary. Would you like it honeybee, if I turned around and posted your address, your maps, your life details and the like up? I doubt it. Most anyone would feel threatened, especially in the context that all of this being presented.

Leave individual people alone.

Honestly I am tired of reading your crap. You are so blind! You are over at Kimkins, stay away from here then. We are not obbsessive but getting together with HUNDREDS of others getting the lies from that kimkins site and the Fraud owner and we are going to put a stop to it. That kimkins site is full of cropped fake pics, moderators who were never really on Kimkins 100%. The site needs shut down, Heidi has made enough money off of innocent people, and we will make sure it stops...

I wanted to post that I have been "banned" from K/K since posting this on the last fascination thread:


It seems that I have finally been brought up here.

Here's the short version of my story:

Atkins-like eating got me from 122 to 104 in three months last year.

Kimkins-like eating then got me from 104-98.

I only began with binge-eating issues after eating such low calories.
(PB being my very favorite binge food).

I now maintain at 102, which seems a healthy weight for me, as I am quite small boned.

I still struggle with PB issues.

The reason I'm leaving the maintenance forum is because I feel that too mainy "maintainers" cannot accept healthy fats or carbs.
*And that is exactly the mentality that I am trying to free myself from.

Thanks to those of you who have supported me here!

***I could truly care less, since I have refused to post over there for months.

Kimmer always pushed to make you an Admin. I always tried to kill that idea, for your sake.

Remember when we were emailing, and I was encouraging you to step down as a new Admin? I was emailing with many people, who all ended up refusing or resigning as Admins. Kimmer lost a lot of her first, second, and third picks before she ended up with the crew she has now.

Anyway, when Christin told Kimmer she was stepping down, Kimmer answered back that it was fine, because she would just make you the lead Admin. Then, the very next email in Christin's inbox was from you, declining the Admin position.



Just think --- you could have been Tippy or SingingLass.

Lola, I was shocked by the VLCD, but I knew I could do it for a short period...I don't think I really did KK at all but tweaked it to my lifestyle.

By the way, I started med school at age 38...that put me in residency at 42!
Long call nights kicked my butt! Hope you're a youngster!

I never got the whole K/E bit, yuck..and MoM daily? Electrolyte disturbances can occur. I didn't ever comment on that stuff because I know what people will do regardless of my telling them. So I never got banned.

May be time for people associated with KimKins to lawyer-up! In the eyes of the law, individuals can become public figures (more typically, politicians or celebrities) with limited rights to claim libel or defamation (1964 ruling, U.S. Supreme Court).

Common folk can become limited purpose public figures, if they "thrust themselves to the forefront of particular public controversies ..."

Just 'sayin ....
