I have asthmatic children. I've been dealing with what comes with that for 24 years. I can rattle off a ton of information about alternative treatments, traditional treatments, meds, tests, VCD, vocal therapy, etc. And yet, surprisingly, that doesn't make me a respiratory therapist.

So where is she? She looked ill on KTLA, posted a message or 2 the next day, and then ...silence. Did her appearance offend Red Dress Kimmer? Or was it something she said? Or was she just not a great ad for Kimkins? Or did Kimmer decide that, once her cover was blown, that she didn't need people who wanted a slice of her money and glory? Questions, questions. It would be nice to get answers soon.

I don't know that I'd call it surprised. I don't know what I'd call it, actually. I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I wouldn't want to make light of something like that and find out later it had truly happened. KWIM? I didn't agree with Ducky posting her information and I felt it was a potentially dangerous thing to do on the internet. It was possible that it had happened. BUT DAYUM! I guess I'm still surprised by the length people will go to, the lies they'll tell for their own personal gain. You'd think I'd be less surprised since discovering what a piece of work Heidi Diaz is but I guess I've still, somehow, managed to see her as the queen of deception and on a level all her own. I didn't truly believe there was so much room on *that bench.

She's MIA? She's one of the cover girls now. I noticed last time I checked that it doesn't appear that she's lost any more weight because they haven't changed her STATS. She hasn't posted since shortly after The Morning Show?

Thanks, Chelveston. You don't have to edit anything. I didn't take it badly. I just am not so happy with my gullibility, is all. I really don't want to become too cynical but how do you keep that from happening in the face of all this? I need to stop sitting on pointy fence posts and wake up.
I think what's really bothering me is that she lied to garner support and sympathy here from people she'd been unfair to at KK, people she banned without even a care for their wellbeing (me, included). And she got that. People rose above what they felt about her actions on KK and supported her despite all that.

I think her report of threats and crank calls is essentially plausible.
After all, the exposure of her personal details in such an emotionally-charged situation could bring out the worst impulses in some very angry people.

I am really wanting to believe her somehow. I want to believe SOMEbody.

I was told she is actively posting, btw, including today.

They do say "providers" though.

My first choice was D.O. - Doctor of Osteopathy. I found, to my dismay, all of the D.O. shools in the U.S. basically mirror MD programs. In the early 70's the AMA found the D.O. License was as powerful as the MD. They approached all US schools and basically said "change your curriculum or lose your accreditation". Most changed or closed.

MD - Thought about it but did not want to be indoctrinated into the "Drugs and Surgery" model of medicine. Can you blame the MD though? The do internships and residencies in emergency room settings. If I have a knife sticking out of me the last thing I want is some herbs or acupuncture.

DO schools are not a mirror of allopathic schools. They still do teach "alternative" practises with a focus on the whole body and of course still teach osteopathic manipulation.

I imagine the reason "Dr. Mark" didn't attend an osteopathic school is the same reason he didn't attend an allopathic one (or chiropractic one for that matter)...because he was not qualified to gain admittance...and was not disciplined enough to change that and then go through the 4 additional years of schooling and at least 3 more years of training after that all real medical doctors mush complete.

I'd hate for this to have happened to her and I hate that she lied to us if it didn't. Can't win for losing.
Who else would she contact but the police? She said she contacted the police, right? If something like that was happening wouldn't the police be the ones to contact? Many years ago I was getting calls at all hours. A breather (and other disgusting sounds. Turned out he was also peeping in my windows while my husband was working at night). I called the police. They set up a phone tap with the phone company. The calls were traced, I went to court, the police were there with me and testified. I can't imagine how else it would be done or who else you'd call for something like this.
