Now that we have a verified, current picture of the Kimmer, I sure hope that THAT picture gets out to the media along with the Russian bride pic.

I can see the articles now - a current pic of Heidi with the article titled "Would you buy a diet program from this woman?"

Somehow actually being able to say the picture is verified as current and providing the bride and the current one would cause a lot of people to say, "Say what?" and take notice. That current pic speaks volumes.

Did that make sense?

I think she posted that she was confused as to why her picture on her website made her appear smaller than what she actually is. Didn't it have something to do with the size of the pic or that she was using her laptop? It was a crazy comment.

Another question I have is did she appeal the student loan judgment against her? How on earth could she be walking around with that much cash and they didn't demand payment immediately or set up a payment plan. Instead she was able to buy a home? I question if that home purchase will not be viewed as fraudulent! Maybe some legal authority on the forum can answer that.

Here in Nebraska child support ends when they turn 19.

What I quickly learned was that I'd been *royally had*. If I'd not been so trusting in Kimmer herself, in the WW article, in the Red Dress story, in the other Russian Bride success stories, I would still have my $60 and probably healthier to boot.

This would be a good place to insert a "kicking self in butt" smiley but they don't have one here.

I'll see if I can find one for you and if you don't mind I'll use it as well!

My daughter married a fellow that had two kids (he had custody). The daughter went on to college but the child support stopped when she turned 18. I think it all depends on the divorce decree...

Nebraska child support: Then, as each child reaches
the age of 19, the parent stops making the payment amount for
that child. However, if there are two or more children and the
support order is for a single amount, which is not broken down
on a per-child basis, the child support payments are not automatically
reduced as each child reaches age 19. The full amount must be
paid until the youngest child reaches age 19, unless the support
order states otherwise.
The Nebraska Supreme Court has ruled that a parent may not be
forced to provide support for a child past the age of 19 (except that
such support may be ordered in some situations where the child has
special, long-term needs.) However, if the parties agree as part of
the divorce that support will continue past 19, the court will enforce
that agreement.

I found this. A woman from Rhode Island asked an attorney if her husband had to pay child support while the child went to college. This was part of his answer. He started by saying he was licensed in California and then wrote the following. Sounds like if it's in the divorce decree, yes. Otherwise it's when the child reaches the 18th birthday.

However, the parents can agree that child support is to continue into the college years, and such an agreement will be enforced by the Family Law Court.
