Hey...Who in their right mind would go to "Dr." Mark? He is not even a naturopath..and not listed as a provider in the Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida..The trips to my chiro are covered by my BC/BS here..It's hard to believe that anyone would go to him..

But honestly, wouldn't you think you'd pick someone closer to how you actually look and someone closer to your actual age? When she started using the Leysa pic on her front page, I honestly didn't think it was her. I thought it was a random pic used for advertising. If I had paid more attention and realized she was claiming it was her, I would have never believed it and would have called her on it. But oh well, it's all in hindsight now, we can only move forward and do our part to bring her down.

Let me see, Californians seem to be leaders of the pack; so what do small kitchens and 3-car garages tell you? Yup, eat out and drive at least 2 cars. Then there's the hot tub, plus tub and shower upstairs. At least they love being clean! But that is a 1900 ft sq house; so I imagine that there's an enormous living room , or 1 large l.r. and a big family room. (It is a 4-bedroom house!) There was no mention by Brandon of a foster brother until after we concluded that there were no foster kids. Brandon proved he was reading our posts when one of us asked if he's "EMO" and he responded vehemently on his page.
The picture of the supposed "Robert" clearly has STOCK PHOTO across it. No hosting site puts that on your pics. You can go to any of the armed forces web sites and get pictures of young men too.

We ARE a suspicious bunch, aren't we? And we can all thank Heidi for that! Nevertheless, the mention of Robert goes back way further than this latest entry - at least to August where some enterprising duck thought to look under Brandon's postings and came up with the aforementioned comment. So, in my mind, the issue is still unresolved whether or not Heidi actually had foster children much later than 2000. (I think so.)

An observation of mine....

I have noticed that whenever one of her members is REALLY successful at losing weight, at some point Kimmer seems to turn on them.

A recent example is AmyB. She's lost a ton of weight and is one of the cover-stories. And yet, in the Kimkins hair loss thread, Kimmer was pretty snippy with AmyB, especially considering Amy is popular on Kimkins and is one of the Kimkins diet "trophy-children."

And in AmyB's Kimkins journal, Amy even comments "I think I made Kimmer mad posting about her butt. Opps. But I was just saying or should I say trying to say that her posted weight of almost 300 pounds, she looks really small and her butt is so small. Not a bad thing. In fact for those of us with butts...a smaller butt would be a compliment. But then again..maybe I was wrong, Not the first time."

One of the earlier LCF posters mentioned that border-line personality tendency of Heidi''s to do the "tickle-tickle-slap-Iloveyou" thing, and I'm wondering if Heidi isn't in the "slap" stage with AmyB. (I noticed also in the post above, that Amy is kind of blaming herself for Kimmer's behavior... which is a typical "survival mechanism" of those in relationships with borderline personalities. The only way one can survive in a relationship with a borderline is to "always be the wrong one", the borderline is NEVER wrong.)

It could be because of the things AmyB is posting in her Kimkins journal. Her most recent posts are so sad to me... she talks about health problems she's having and it seems to me that overall she isn't feeling well.

Kimmer could be worried that AmyB is about to become another Christin, i.e. "I was successful on Kimkins but now my health is trashed."

I can answer THIS one.

I was in a desperate spot. I bought the WW magazine about 3 days before I saw my doctor last summer. I had not read it yet. I got on the doctor's scales and found out I'd hit my all time high of 200 lbs. Not to mention the dismal labs my doctor fussed at me about that visit.

All I cared about was losing it as fast as I could.

I went home & read the magazine article. That's why I bought the magazine to begin with. It was well written and convincing. Christin looked awesome. The diet sample meal looked sensible. I was online and signed up with an hour.

It wasn't til I actually struggled through the diet for about 7 weeks, lost 14 lbs and my losses stopped for no reason (to me anyway) that I began researching outside Kimkins and came here and a couple other LC support forums. At that point, all I could do was say

What I quickly learned was that I'd been *royally had*. If I'd not been so trusting in Kimmer herself, in the WW article, in the Red Dress story, in the other Russian Bride success stories, I would still have my $60 and probably healthier to boot.

This would be a good place to insert a "kicking self in butt" smiley but they don't have one here.

Frankly, my dear, I don't give a ... darn. Tippy is capable of learning or she wouldn't have been able to successfully lose weight. Her spelling typos are no worse than some here (sorry!), and I think her refusal to correct her spellings may just be a bit of snarkiness. OTOH, if I don't proofread, you'd be ROFL at some of my bloopers. (Can't type worth beans.) Moreover, we talked enough here about how she could be legit, have a true success story of her own, and get away from Kimkins while the getting was good. But not Cyclekins! No, more personal than that, w/o snarking off Atkins legal dept. How about ...hmmm... Tippy ...nope, Tippy somehow leaves a bad odor. Maybe JeannieSlims? Both personal and honest. Here ya go, Tippy. Thank you for your confirmation, BamaGal. So someone was disgusted with Heidi for her callous treatment of Brandon, who ended up with his father. In subsequent court sessions, I also got the impression Heidi was after getting Brandon back and his father had to shell out. So maybe she was broke again , with no way to make money at home. Whatever, these things we may never learn, or wait for a foster fraud case that may not materialise . Man, for a SHY PRIVATE PERSON, Heidi has seen her info disseminated worldwide. Good thing there are ducks worldwide!

BTW- Something is going on with the cut n paste of certain items. Like I said earlier I tried 3 times to do a post straight from cut n paste to the boards here. Well, Kimmer's smilies would get in there and the "no bar codes" crap and every time I got to a smilie it would shut my computer down.
I ended up making a word doc and then making a word doc for a post in order to not get those items. This solved the problem. To me that is a big coincidence.

You can also paste into notepad, that will strip out any formatting

And under the prevailing hostile attitude of the medical profession in Ontario at the time, there's no way he could have gotten away with his big sign that had DC after his name if he hadn't been entitled. Moreover, he often took in seminars in the US, and on occasion, delivered them! I guess the laws are different here.
