Frankly, it looks something like an older house I once bought, and that is cheap furniture. I sure hope Heidi bought some better stuff to show new prospective buyers when the time comes. Even so, it likely represents a major step up for Heidi - now a TAX-PAYING land owner. Thanks for the glimpse of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Notorious," Missi.

I know that here property that is purchased with fradulent funds can be confiscated by the agency that charges here with fraud (if she is criminally charged, that is). Thus, she could, in theory, end up owing the $2Mil and not have the house to help her out ... now that would be sweet ...

Do you think she's had rhinoplasty, like recently. I was looking at the most recent pic at her deposition, the PI pics and the pic of her in the flowery blouse. Sorry if it has been mentioned..hard to keep up, heh.

I did. The varnish is peeling and maintenance is somewhat overdue. But somehow, I can't see Heidi out there with scrapers and fresh varnish applicators anytime soon - it would take too much time catching up here, continuing the scam, shopping for real estate, running to lawyer's offices!

Not with the ducks hovering!

Would you guys consider changing your breed to seagulls? As I kid we lived in Southern California, and I can remember eating lunch outside, shielding our lunch from the onslaught of seagulls - mostly their bombing raids ...

If you get my drift ....

And I love the visual when I think of this piranha ....

I agree it's not a mansion. You could've bought a house like that where I came from for under $175,000 just 7 years ago. Still, it must feel like a mansion to Heidi. And where I'm living now, where house prices have doubled in about 3 years, that'd fetch maybe $250,000. But she's in California, and I hear even the sunshine is taxed down there.

Posted by Kimmer on Adoption.com June 4th 2004:
Adoption Subsidy & Special Needs Child (Riverside County)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm a single foster mom to 4 teenage boys, 2 are siblings and 1 of the siblings is mentally disabled (IQ 52, actual age 14, mental age 5) and a client of Inland Regional Center.

I'm certified with a private foster agency and receive the standard FFA foster rate for the boys ($750 each).

I'm interested in adopting my 'special' boy. He was removed from a very bad situation and I'm afraid he'll end up back with his parents when he turns 18. He's very attached to me and vice versa! I've learned to love WWE wrestling, LOL!

I am disabled also (heart condition) and receive Soc Sec Disability. I'm trying to figure out if I can 'afford' to adopt. The cost of living in our area is very expensive (rent $1550). I have no debt (no credit cards, car loans or personal loans). I spend everything on the boys so they can be like other kids, including $300 a month for allowances and extra money for movies, video games, etc.

Questions:

1) Regional Center doesn't pay my FFA extra because they aren't approved providers. Will they provide $$ to me directly if I adopt?

2) What would I expect the adoption subsidy to be for a mentally disabled child? He cannot be left unsupervised, cross the street or read (he can count to 50 and knows most of the alphabet).

3) If I adopt, he will receive a 25% rate of my Soc Sec check (the other 25% goes to my bio son). Is this subtracted from the adoption subsidy from the county? He is also eligible for SSI on his own (that's why his parents are eager for him to turn home).

His county social worker is young and told me to contact an adoption social worker. I'm waiting for them to return my call
.

It's all about the money! I'll presume Heidi actually had foster kids then, regardless if the adoption system can find them. Maybe they were out-of-jurisdiction fosters from elsewhere. One just ended up a marine recently, according to Brandon; so yeah, I think they were around in the last couple years.

Interesting you should mention that. Her annual taxes are about 6k for that property. Mine are 12 hundred per year, so when I saw that I choked. True story.

Nope I posted all of the pics, well actually there were two more, one of the dual sinks in the bathroom and a side view of the driveway. Do all of the houses in CA have 3 car garages? Here where I live that would add quite a bit to a property. Hmm.

To be honest given the exhausting searches done on this topic I still do not believe she had children within the last 7 yrs, as I was told she didn't, by the various officials. What this may have been is she was considering taking another child in and wanted to see how much money she would get for doing so. That's just my honest opinion.
