MAJOR LCF POSTER!
|
I was telling someone about this earlier.
This is something weird I found. I googled Heidi Diaz and this people locator thing came up and I found a Heidi Kimberly Diaz and it said associated names Dennise Miller. So I look up Dennise Miller thinking it might be her sister or something since Heidi's maiden name is Miller (I think) I found a Dennise Miller in Zephyrhills Florida. It is just a weird spelling of Dennise. A lot of people are turning up in Zephyrhills. Just such a tangled web. |

I believe that there really was a teachers challenge and they did lose weight together.... but as to whether or not Christin spoke with them, read about their stuff on their challenge thread, or heard info from Heidi.. I don't know. ![]() |

YOu ladies kill me. I have got to remember who we are dealing with here. I tried to finish up on thread #9, and as soon as the new name was posted, began my search only to realize it has been done already haha. You guys are great!
Great info provided as well, including the Sharp Plumbing link. Perfect!!! That does indicate Dennis knows full well what's going on. Since, how else would you explain all the other mail when going to pick his up? Ah well, it's not shocking, you do as you are shown. IF they both grew up with a scammer like Heidi for a mother, what would you expect? Heidi, I know you are reading this, and just wanted to say that you should really be ashamed of yourself. Is being a lying cheating scumbag so important to you that you would teach your children this? Sick! You should have been teaching them to be kind and loving and helpful to others. But instead, you taught them the way of the grift! Way to go. I will leave you with this thought. I was once asked when I die what I would like for my friends and family to say about me, aside from the obvious joke of "Look she's still breathing" I thought about it and realized that I would like for them to say that I was always willing to help, that I was loving and kind. Not that I had a huge house or a sweet ride. You dig?!? What do you think people will say when you die Heidi? I'm sure someone will mutter "Bad mother" among other things. You should really be ashamed, and now I know why you need Halcion, I wouldn't be able to sleep either, if I acted the way you do!

Yes, the teachers' challenge was genuine.
I think Christin emailed or PMed with the leader of the challenge, but I could be wrong. In any case, their challenge was an active one, and kept a running tally of combined pounds lost. I can confirm Deni's statement, and Christin has the original to prove that she wrote that release. The quote is hers. After Christin left, Kimmer just made up Amanda Holbrook, and simply attributed the article and quote to her instead. In Kimmer's mind, I imagine that was legit, since she had paid Christin for her time. Never mind that pesky little technicality of plagiarism and false attribution. Hopefully the teachers involved are keeping their own dieting practices separate from their influence on kids. I'm sure they would....
I work with Jr. High'ers at my church.. and I wrote the following in my journal back in February ... while I was on and supportive of Kimkins.... this post is something I look back on now and think to myself.. wow... why didn't I realize what this MEANT? (in reference to an upcoming youth group weekend retreat ![]() Quote:
I'm not sure why I'm posting this here today.. but I think that perhaps there's still people who are on Kimkins that have hidden exactly what they are eating from people who they have an influence on... so by posting this, I want to ask them outloud what I wish someone had asked me.... "If it's not something you would want your child to do, then why do you insist that it's okay for you to do it?" |

Zepherhills is indeed in the general Tampa Bay area of Florida and Dr. Mark was associated with a non-traditonal oriental school of medicine in Pinellas County just across the bay from Tampa which is also considered the Tampa Bay area. I seem to remember TT saying she was from Pasco County which is just north of Tampa, but I could be wrong about that. Anyway they are all on the west side of the Florida peninsula. I used to live in that area myself many years ago.

From Kimmer....... (bolding by me)
Re:60 Minutes & Portion/Calories Hours, Minutes ago Thank God, I thought I was the only one! Why don't I stop? On another TV show (you all must think I just watch TV all day), I think Primetime they did a food experiment where they had volunteers sit at a table with a plate of cookies. They were told they could eat the cookies if they wanted to. Lots of the people ate lots of cookies. So what? The hosts (I'm thinking Diane Sawyer but I'm not sure) was amazed that some people ate 5-10 cookies. I couldn't understand what she was surprised about? Apparently a serving would be like 1-2. Oh really? Not to me ... which is why I stay away from cookies (or anything similar). I think a lot of my food issues come from "will it still be there"? I've been poor and there wasn't always food. Sometimes you can't get that "what if" feeling out of your mind. How's school? Hey Kimmer, Is that why you keep them on the front seat of your car? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I did do Atkins several years ago, 6 months and 20lbs lost. It started out great but then degenerated to peanuts, low carb bars and protein shakes. (that's not atkins) The fact is if I have to do lot of planning to stay with it, I'll eventually lose motivation, even if I am losing. I think that's another reason KK is so appealing, not much to think about, especially if your not hungry.ETA: the above 2 paragraphs are two totally different thoughts.
