I just sent a nice lengthy message to The Montel Show asking them to investigate this. He loves to go after scams like this, especially when people's health is involved. I am hoping to scare up some healthy competition among the media by letting them know that Mike and Juliet already scooped them on it, but there is much more of the story to be told. It needs more national media coverage.

The way TT was talking - she was not the person in charge of that decision. I loved the fact that M&J were putting pressure on her for removal.

If so, where are those stories, the people here who recognized themselves in her 'reenactments'? If so, it would still be illegal to do it that way.

One thing that always bothered me was how Heidi would congratulate herself so much if a new member came in and reported good losses. That 'proved' that everything she said was true.

Now, if later that same member slowed down, stalled, fell away, binged, regained, had health problems or whatever? Unless they came humbly, praising Kimmer and begging for her magnificent help, they were ignored like they never existed. If they complained about their results, they were told they were probably not honest in what they were reporting, that they were cheating, and needed to cut more.

Now, if they properly recognized Kimmer's greatness, they were treated to her munificent favor.

Otherwise, in her selective handling of reality, she only saw that which substantiated her claims. She never saw the other parts.

Oh God another thing just occurred to me, Becky. Heidi really DIDNT KNOW if Kimkins was a diet that could possibly kill. She was in this for the $$. She had NO WAY of knowing if the diet was deadly as there were NO success stories initially... and those were based on her fake one. Ive been haunted by remembering some KK members eating 200-300 calories a day, dropping weight like crazy and then they suddenly were not on Kimkins anymore. Where are they now?

I don't understand why the FTC needs more people attached to the suit. I looked at some previous cases they have investigated in the past few years and many of them were much smaller scams than this one.

I don't know how the FTC works but I've worked in enforcement at the state level and we didn't wait for X number of people to complain about fraud before we started our investigation. That will really piss me off if they're not willing to enforce their own statutes unless a certain threshold is met. Fraud is fraud if it's done to one person or one thousand.

Susie...I was one of those, but, because my and Kimmer's little confrontation, I wised up real fast. I just hope some (or all) of the other like me who were that low and sometimes even lower figured out real quick something was not right also.

If the Kimster were sincere about making reparations to anyone who "felt" they'd been misled -- Kimkins should send an email to its entire database of paid members, including the vast majority of whom are long gone from KK. A 4-day limited-time refund offered only to people who are still on the KK site or seen by those who happened to frequent the anti-Kimkins sites is an insult.

She has got to be kidding us! There is no way she could lose that bustle of hers just by losing 23 lb! Someone with Photoshop or other mad skills can maybe enlarge the last one so it's more in proportion.

There isn't a calorie limit on any Kimkins plan. I suppose Boot Camp would be the most stringent, but there's still calorie variety there, too. Calories count but we don't count calories.

Kimkins: Unlimited lean protein and up to 4 cups of veggies (no calorie limit)
K/E: Unlimited protein (no calorie limit)
Shake Option: Up to 800 calories
Boot Camp: No calorie limit, but portions are limited

Someone wrote me yesterday and said that a former admin told them to keep their calories between 500-800. Huh? I've been reading that Kimkins has a 500 calorie limit and I couldn't figure out for the life of me where that came from! Now I know.

For the Record: There is no limit with Kimkins. If the 500-800 figure was published on this site, that was an error.

I just laughed out loud when I read your post, my mother always used the term the squirts. I know it wasnt funny to you but I had to tell you this. We grew up in Iowa and its a term there.
