Can someone explain to me why if KimKins is the fastest weight loss, etc, etc, why are they partnered with the LA Weight Loss and Hoodia??

If I recall, the link to LA Weight Loss does not go to the diet site.

Hidey is going for the sympathy vote...she's working the system. Ns (short for narcissist/s) have a radar which absorbs reactions, processes them through their keen filters and then "plays" the people to get their N supply...bad, good, whatever...as long as they are getting that attention. I saw this in my own father. He'd be a power hungry beast wreaking a tyrant's rage over small children and his wife, and then when he had overplayed his hand he would become a sickly, weak little puppy dog playing the ones he could fool into feeling sorry for him. We are seeing the new, contrite Hidey playing the audience. These people will fall for her new persona and she'll be weak and needy now as long as she can and then she'll eventually lose it and go off into her power trip again. You're right...the old Hidey will be back.

Just wondering..if shes BACK as she claims, with a confession and a revamped website, what happened to the "new owners?" Did they just disappear?? Did she have to buy the site back from them??? She talks likes shes trying to get the site working 100% but if shes not the owner, why should she care???

ETA: Rebecca, you might get a chuckle out of this. Or not.

Kimmer always pushed to make you an Admin. I always tried to kill that idea, for your sake.

Remember when we were emailing, and I was encouraging you to step down as a new Admin? I was emailing with many people, who all ended up refusing or resigning as Admins. Kimmer lost a lot of her first, second, and third picks before she ended up with the crew she has now.

Anyway, when Christin told Kimmer she was stepping down, Kimmer answered back that it was fine, because she would just make you the lead Admin. Then, the very next email in Christin's inbox was from you, declining the Admin position.

Just think --- you could have been Tippy or SingingLass.

I love all of these bios! Some of you I've known for awhile, but I never really "knew" you. Mentioning all of the diets everyone has tried took me down memory lane. I didn't try all of them (I learned about low carb when I was teenager), but I remember each one.

Wasn't Susan Powter a kick! I don't agree with her diet philosophy, but I read one of her books with her life story and that's a girl I can identify with.

Gary, excellent advice about testing for levels. That never occurred to me. My current health plan let's me email questions directly to my doctor (saves on co-pays too) and I'm going to ask if he'll add a calcium check to my list of blood work in January.

Timeline for the challenge -- how about May? That's my personal challenge to see whether I can hit goal by my birthday, May 10. What is my goal weight? I'll know it when I see it in the mirror.

Nobody ever said Heidi didn't keep abreast of the latest news, trends, etc in the weightloss world. I really liked Susan Powter, too, till following her advice to stoke up on carbs when hungry added at least 50 lbs to my frame. That was WITH exercise, BTW. I really hope Heidi makes goal back on Atkins (even if she still calls it Kimkins for the nonce) just to prove that the doctor knew more than she did. But somehow, she's giving herself only 6 months to lose 100 lbs. Methinks she believes her own press and will try for a Christin-type diet. Yo, Heidi, Christin is not only a 1/4 century younger than you, hasn't had a trashed thyroid, nor developed diabetes, nor a wonky liver from past liquid indiscretions, nor a history of severe yo-yo dieting and auto-immune diseases. And she STILL developed various problems, the least of them being hair loss. At your age, I'd truthfully worry about a heart attack from extreme dieting. May is just a calendar date; death is final. Reread DANDR, Heidi. The Doc lays out the basic steps to losing weight healthfully. Really read it. He doesn't advocate a high-fat diet for everyone; but he's dead set against high protein diets w/o fat and veggies. Research has shown that those diets are killers. And Heidi, NO TRICK MIRRORS, OK?

There were never any new owners. It was a diversionary tactic. Now she's claiming she set up kimkins as an LLC of which she is the principal. Technically calling this new ownership would be correct because (if you believe Heidi) Kimkins went from being a partnership to an LLC. But Heidi never relinquished control over the business.
