All right-I give up. It's total insanity at Kimkins and the dangers have been shown to the public and backed up by a doc and a nutritionist. They think TT and SL got ambushed and were so brave to do stand up for Kimkins on national tv. People over there don't care about the health threats, the lawsuits etc - so I am officially leaving them to their stupidity. Look at the following post about how a PREGNANT woman is wanting to do Kimkins with her friend. Dr. Mark did totally shoot her down but come on jeez how stupid and idiotic can people be...

Hey everybody! I'm getting lots of messages and I'm responding as quickly as I can, plus trying to post on the site and doing some behind the scenes stuff. I'm speeding through everything as quick as I can!

All of these sweet words! You sure know how to make a girl feel good! Yesterday was the deposition which took all day as expected. Actually I was very pleased at the outcome. It would be inappropriate for me to comment on proceedings, except to say Kimkins - Home is safe which is the bottom line for our members.

Opposing counsel, Mr. Tiedt, raised some very good points which have provided a launching point for us. There are a number of administrative controls which need to be tightened and formalized. Valid questions were asked that I will use as suggestions to improve Kimkins.

On a different note I am pleased (and surprised) to report my new weight this morning of 291.6 and that's with our new digital scale. I'm thinking it might be a fluke or water weight loss. There's no reason for me to lose 3 lbs overnight in week 3. I'm sure part of them will be back tomorrow.

What am I eating? Yesterday not much.

Breakfast: Leftover homemade blender shake (read melted ice and watered down)

Snack: None, black coffee during the deposition

Lunch: A large simple green salad with house "ranch" dressing from Coco's during the deposition break

Snack: None, though I actually drank a small bottle of water provided by Mr. Tiedt's office (yes, me drinking water!)

Dinner: Too tired from the day's events to cook so I grabbed what was in the fridge: a Dannon Light & Fit yogurt, leftover teriyaki chicken (sauce never added just that roasted flavor) and a lettuce roll up from my Gladware bowl

I'm glad to report that ketosis has hit and I have very little appetite. I'm going to set aside some time this afternoon to plan a week of menus that will work. I'm finding I want more veggies, less protein? And mustard??? What's up with that?

Oops, I guess I should give my supplements list: Centrum (generic actually), flax oil 1000 mg, milk thistle 350 mg

Question.... if you are diagnosed Diabetes type 2.... is this the kind of daily menu you eat... we had a diabetic cat and we had to feed him better than this.

Count me in! I know we don't have much of the month left, but I will pledge my total weight loss for November. Talk about extra motivation!!!

Geeeee....wonder how much she will lose in a month...and where do you think the money is coming from? (or Whom?) Not that it isn't a good cause.

The Morning Show publicity is a form of advertisement that can bring new blood (and $) into Kimkins. There's too much credible evidence to the contrary for her to continue pretending she's slim and trim and she's not Kimmer, so for the sake of gaining the confidence of (i.e. conning) new members she makes a mini-confession and joins her members in ....what? What is the Kimkins diet? Does anyone even know anymore? It's also coincidental that this "coming clean" happened the same day of the deposition. If she tells the truth and gives everyone their money back, no basis for a lawsuit, right? Aw shucks, it was all just a big misunderstanding.

If coming clean for the sake of being honest were the goal, she would have done it a long time ago when first exposed. A mea culpa at that time would have smacked of sincerity instead of continued manipulation.

For Heidi, I don't think it's about the money at all. It's about continuing to be clever enough to con people. Laughing all the way to the bank is just a side effect.

You know, maybe the ultimate way to win is for us to shut down this Kimmer thread altogether. She doesn't deserve the attention, and I am sure she just eats it up. With sprinkles. The worst fate for someone like her is to be IGNORED.

Being a New Yorker I want to remind Tipple Toes of just a couple of differences between this and a "terrorist attack"

I did email them directly after the KTLA and Russian bride findings. I gave them the links and I also referenced that they posted an image that they had not be given the copyrights too (ie. Kimmer in the leopard shirt).

I contacted woman's world yesterday about KK, and they still have not contacted me. Maybe they think, if we ignore this maybe it will go away! I think they should be ASHAMED to not put a truth about how ridiculously unsafe this diet is, plus for promoting it! Sheesh.

When that article came out---I received tons of email through my main blog, people wanting to know what I thought about it. Even had some of my WLS friends, who had regained, think of trying it.

I set them straight pretty quick.

There are many good writers here. Someone should do form letters to be shared. Many people know what they want to say but not how to say it.

I'm a big advocate in the MH field. I am always writing to my congressmen and TV executives and other places. But the sites like NAMI, when asking for support of a cause or bill, provide a base guideline of what to include in your letter. It encourages more people to write in.

It is just a thought.
