I wondered the same thing about Brandons depo. I dont see how they can keep them from talking to each other. But flushing out the stories are what lawyers are good at

There has been no news on Heidi's deposition yesterday, has there? If so, I haven't been able to find much. I was hoping someone would have snapped a photo, if nothing else. Does anyone know how long it went? tia.

Allie I promise to stick around. It's been a tough year from the health standpoint but the doctors are working on me and I hope to be feelin' better soon. At least I'm back to being able to eat a little protein again! I will be havin' surgery the Monday after Thanksgiving so will be gone a couple of weeks but otherwise, you will see my smilin' wonderwoman self around these parts!

Ok where do I start? THis is pretty mind blowing information....I guess I should start off by saying that I am a friend of Kat's who started on the Kimkins diet in June. We were a part of a group called the Junebugs. Needless to say I'm sure she has told you all what happened from there. I left the site and stopped the diet on june 29th. I felt that the diet was unhealthy and was heading towards an eating disorder(anorexia).
It's so wierd to find out that what I had questioned all along is true. Her identity, the diet, starvation mode, ect.
About 2 weeks ago I noticed that my hair was falling out and I literally have bald spots. I was freaking out!! Then for some unknown reason( maybe the hand of GOd) I decided to come here. I had remembered Kat and another friend from Kimkins tell me about it. And low and behold...the truth was staring me in the face. I finally knew I wasn't crazy...my hair was falling out...my heart was messed up ..and that being cold wasn't normal!! I knew that Kimkins was BS. All it is, is a brainwashing course in anorexia 101!! ANd if you ever you questioned anything ..you were shut down and force fed their lies...unfortunately Littlebit or whatever here s/n was (Becky) was the worst one..I'm glad that she has seen the light. I can't believe that I fell for their malarky.It's just that it was so convincing you know? When you questioned the low calories..you were told that there was no starvation mode...and then when you argued that that goes against what every medical doctor has said, they brought up the fact that gastric bypass restricts calories to the extreme so it must be ok. So I carried on...lowering my calories..till I was eating about 300 a day, fasting 2 times a week and working out vigorously 5 days a week. Umm there is something wrong with that picture! When I realized what I was doing and came to my senses, I left the Kimkins empire and charted my own course towards weightloss. I still have many questions...I know LC is right for me but not sure how to go about it. I see some on this site still doing kk's ..M&E challenges and such..so I will just keep reading...

Well they will probably try to put him on the defensive up front......

I heard the depo started at 10AM and went to 4:57PM (PST). For some reason I thought it started at 1PM but read a few pages back it was earlier. Sounds like it was a tiring day for all parties. Now she just have to have a good memory!

Pooticus: I hope you are feeling much better and good luck on your upcoming surgery! Keep us posted when you can get back on the computer.

Sorry your having surgery, hope it all goes well... Make Denny take care of you the whole time. Ben and the kids are doing fine, giving me one hell of a ride .. there are days

Nick was sick for a while, had four surgeries made eating the right way tough.. Not that I could'nt have cooked the right way, just made for a easy way to fall into bad patterns and give myself some bad excuses.

But, i have kicked myself a lot and have been doing well last few months..

Thank goodness you stopped the insanity before it was too late. Have you checked into Biotin for your hairloss? I'm taking it as well and have noticed a big difference.

I was banned from the KK site for posting some stuff over here. I never went on Heidi's WOE and most of the time she was flaming me for eating brussel sprouts and cashews not to mention an occasional rum/diet coke (saying I had a drinking problem). She loved putting people down.

All I can say is you WILL lose weight following the diet plans on this site. They also have a "recovery" thread for ex-KK members here.

Good luck and be sure and post/read often.

Welcome to LCF.

LC is a great way of eating but even on this site you will see twisted ways to lose weight and very disordered eating. It's part of the desperation some people feel to lose weight.

I wish you to find a healthy woe that you can maintain long term.

Seven hours for a depo, that's alot of lies from Heidi. Heidi is facing so much scrutiny now with the investigation for the foster children, IRS, Disability payments,defaulting on student loans, how will she ever keep all of her lies straight. It would be great if all of the agencies could share information.

I would love to see WW held accountable in some way, that is how I became familiar with Kimmer.

Thank you all for the warm welcomes!! I know I have a lot of reading to do...
I'm glad I wasn't on the diet from hell for too long. If it wasn't for the great support I received from the Junebugs..I would have left sooner. Not sure what diet to do ...I have been doing a sort of atkins/kk diet for now...salads, chicken, veggies,cheeses,beef, cottage cheese...so far so good but i'm sure I will come across something on here that suits me. Any suggestions? What kind of results have you had on the atkins? or LFL? Those are the 2 I'm considering so I would appreciate any kind of feed back!!

I agree! What would be great is to see the Federal authorities pick up the ball and run with it. What about the SSI she is receiving after raking in all those membership fees?

Kali I think the key is to find something you can do for life, that keeps you healthy and happy. Ask questions of everyone on any posts that you might find interesting and then think about it find what will work into your normal lifestyle and go from there.
