I don't believe that....thats actually giving her too much credit, thats saying that she basically she can't help it, etc. But I believe she knows what she's doing and has done...she just doesn't care. I believe that it is entirely possible that Heidi is a genuine case of Multiple Personality Disorder. I do not say this as a joke. She can sincerely disavow knowledge of the other personalities because they are not integrated. Whichever one suits the current purpose is the personality that takes hold. It's why she can say things with such conviction. She really believes them.

There are not all that many verifiable cases of MPD on record. It's quite rare, is usually the result of extreme abuse in early life, and generally happens to very intelligent people who react to the abuse by dissociating from it. In the process, their personality is fragmented.

I am not giving her credit for anything, the woman has lost it, she has proved without a doubt she is Pshyco, cronic liar, and is so money hungry she doesn't care who she hurt or distroyed in the way of her sucess.

Well I did watch the show and I was ashamed of Christin and Deni because they lost their weight, they were excited about this plan, and they helped many of us several times. Then they say it's not healthy etc. When they're threads were up, no where did it say to consume 500 or less calories a day, in fact Christins said to consume between 800-1200 per day. No where have I found on the site that it says to use laxatives daily, it says if you have a problem try some natural remedies, but those ladies didn't say that. Tippy you did great considering you were under attack. Singinglass thank you for speaking up and saying how much you've lost and about the death threats. That worries me. I know that the LCF'ers have gotten ahold of my email because I get these messages telling me of the controversy, the lawsuits, how it's unsafe diet etc. They go straight to the garbage file.

This WOE has loads of lean proteins, veggies and it DOES have dairy, unless I'm mistaken yogurt and string cheese are dairy. I am responsible for what goes into my mouth, how much, how little and of what kind. My one Dr. whom I wont see anymore kept telling me to 'just put down the fork' when I was in tears begging for help. My other Drs. saw this diet plan, supported it encouraged it and thought it was wonderful for ME. My vital statistics have improved, with all the weight loss, as has my attitude.

They set out to try to destroy kimkins but they failed in their attempt. Anyone with half a brain will know this was a setup, and even others will check it out because of the controversy and will be helped to lose weight just like the rest of us.

Failed attempt?? Was she watching the same program? And where was this lady last year? It was no carbs, no dairy cheese, nothing. Oh and if your not going use laxatives! I have been around these boards and over there and there was posts on the use of laxatives. Just because your blind doesn't mean it doesn't exist!

Honeybee.. I am having issues with any kind of concept that your are not organized. I have this mental image of you, with your card files, computer links.. post it notes every where... The DH coming home, you standing up with your pearls on.. saying "welcome home daddy" OK maybe thats where the papers flew and the feeling of disorganization came in

OK I am going to say that both my DH and I have met Tippy and her DH in person. My DH states its amazing what some war paint can do for a person. We both felt she got ripped a new on, but also feel there will be some people, out of desperation that will join. We can only hope in the back of their minds, they keep in mind the side effects and will realize very fast that this way of eating is not healthy.

Ok...that aside. In the time I wasn't able to post, I still read these threads almost daily.
Big Kudos to all of you for bringing this to fruition. And so quickly too, I might add. For this to have gotten picked up by national television is really a testament to all of your hard work and tenacity.
I taped the show and have watched it twice. I have mixed feelings about how it went. I think Christin & Deni (are those names right?) represented themselves wonderfully and my heart really went out to Christine. Her sincerity really did shine through. (as opposed to the woman you all call TT. @@ goodness, she was as transparent as saran wrap).
Anyhow...the thing is...the two ladies "looked" so beautiful and so healthy. And if I know America, and I think I do, this probably drove people some people TO the diet rather than away from it. Its one thing reading about all of this on the internet. Its quite another to see them. The pro-ana ladies of the world will be all over that I think.
But still, the word got out. And even if it did drive a few desperate people in the wrong direction...hopefully many more were warned away from it.
Pleasant surprise with the hosts. The nutritionist & doc weren't low carb advocates by any stretch..but thats ok too and imo, was to be expected. What they did say was enough. At the end, the doctor made a comment about adding laxatives to this and how dangerous that would be. (paraphrased). I think that was important to say but may have been overlooked since it came at the tail end of his other commentary.
omg. The new KK website and 'explanation"? What a joke! First of all..there is no way that picture is legit after only 2 weeks. The weight clearly does not match the picture as listed. (im NOT suprised). And the 'explanation' stinks. Thats the most disingenuous apology Ive heard in a while, and I've heard some doozies. She continues to be a fraud and will continue to prey on those who are blinded. Sadly, there will always be a market for that kind of fraud.
Im hoping the lawsuit in some way furthers the justice for those of you who were burned...which will also bring more attention to the scam that it is.
