Kimmer actually went on a "wonder woman" attack one night or at least that is what was surmised based on her love of rum and the personal attacks on kimkins. What a wake up call, I have been back on track (induction) since November 1st and I am not weighing as of yet. I have done well this time around. I will continue to have role models but this time I will be more careful about comparing myself to anyone, we all make mistakes.

Thanks to those of you who have encouraged me over the years and will continue to do so in this board. I just felt I had to say something. I am still in shock...

I to tried to follows kimmer advice...after one week of being on her plan, my face begin to twitch... draw on one side, I just knew I was having a stroke.... I had been on the board for about 2 months at the time.... and I too felt like a failure because I could follow her advice.... I quit all together and gained all my weight I loss plus some....

I came back last january and have lost really well....

My point, don't be ashame.... just make up your mind to do something good for yourself..... Read Atkins book or what ever plan you are following and follow the book by its plan.... You can do this

Give her a break? Why should I? You obviously joined after the website was scrubbed and missed all the caring advice Kimmer/Heidi gave to those who were struggling by calling them weak and advising they lower their calories even more. I have been here since July of 2006. No I haven't posted, I was reading and taking it all in. I was waiting for the maintenance information before starting because I wasn't going to go through the process of losing the weight to just gain it back AGAIN if there wasn't a maintenance plan I felt I could follow. I was promised an e-book and am still waiting. Once the controversy started I was afraid to post because I would likely have gotten banned for expressing my thoughts. (which will probably happen now.)
You need to read my previous post and respond to my points. There is no guarantee you will be able to keep off your weight or won't suffer long term issues. From reading your introduction...I would think you would take that very seriously since you have others counting on you with other serious issues.

Lori, she has left no reasonable doubt that she is a complete sociopath. She is incapable of feeling shame or embarrassment because of that. Her actions are not defensible. There is no doubt she will still have a loyal following, but the numbers will be much smaller than in the past. I think it was her thirst to be admired and worshipped that made her go too far with it, not to mention that she brought in a nice chunk of change!

I am angry that she could do what she did and get away with it and even profit from it. Watching from the point of view of someone not versed in the background info, I have to say that Tippy came off as credible.

I don't have the advantage of being able to view the show without the information I have of all that went on BUT I re-watched the part posted on their site several times and TT looks nervous, is red in the face and doing an impressive bobble-head impersonation, agreeing with all the registered dietitian was saying. IT's said that's a subconscious movement of agreement. She also kept her head fairly lowered, don't you think?

This is the problem I am having with this whole thing. I joined _base_D on your (Heidi/Kimmer) testimonial. Of having KEPT IT OFF for more than 5 years. Good grief...I can lose weight. It's the keeping it off that we really struggle with. So basically there is NO ONE on this board that can claim LONG TERM maintenance using this diet? It's still a big experiment and you all are a bunch of lab rats. In the meantime there is no guarantee for any of you who have lost weight that it won't come back on or you won't end up with long term health consequences.
An now you want to come back and continue to advise people???? Why should anyone listen to you? How can anyone know what your saying is true or not? You really haven't taken responsibility for your actions.
I am just beyond amazed at how you can so blindly continue to idolize someone who is obviously a deceiver and continues to be so.
And why is it when someone points out obvious truths they are Negative....It is the truth that is the negative, just because some don't want to face it people are to keep quiet so as not to burst someone's fantasy bubble? People need to grow up!

I just watched it and all I can say is Cristin and Deni are amazing! I haven't read any of the responses here yet, I want to watch the show again then post but whoever is forwarding messages please tell them both what they did was so right and they were so restrained and poised and articulate.

And TT looked like a word I cant say here. And who wears horizontal stripes and three layers at the waist on tv? gah!

The picture that Kimmer claims to weigh 294 is a crock. THAT is how I look when I weigh 214 and I'm 6 feet tall. She must be at least 7'5" *if* she actually weighs 294.

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH THIS. The more I see of Fawn fawning all over Kimmer/Hidey, the more I think it's Kimmer all the way.

I actually spent about 2 hours one night looking for Fawn's face on a bunch of sites, because I still don't totally believe she exists. If she does, she is quite a disordered lady. If she does exist and she has friends, I certainly hope they have suggested to her that her worship of Heidi is somewhat <cough> unhealthy.
