I watched the show today, too. Juliet said tomorrow's show would be about diet scams and she said something like the key word here is SCAM. It should be very interesting. Mike and Juliet used to be on the Fox News in the morning show until they moved them to their own show. They like to have fun, but they are really good reporters.

What would be funny is if they have T & S on tomorrow and the Truth about it all on Monday. Somehow, I don't think they will have them all on one show. T & S just don't get that Heidi is hanging them out to dry. She must be so proud of herself.
I forgot to watch it this morning to see what the show was like. Is it like a Regis and Kelly sort of flow or setting?
I didn't realize that they used to do a news show....well that makes it sound more interesting already.

I haven't read all the posts yet so I don't know if this has been posted~ I watched today's show and at the end, Juliet said * On tomorrow's show ..... a couple of stories and then *Diet Scams*. So, if it's aired the same day as taped, shouldn't she know what's on tomorrow?? I'm going to watch just in case~ don't want to miss anything!

Those numbers are pretty much what caused me to get fat in the first place. Sounds good on paper, but way too high in carbs (even good carbs when you're sensitive) and way too low in fat to be sustainable.

Even on 1200 calories a day, 45% coming from carbs is 135 carbs. That's not LC by anybody's standard.

Unless I read all of this wrong.

I'd kind of doubt that they will mention KTLA. It is an affiliate of a competitor. That is a broadcasting faux pas to give on air credit to a competitor for anything.

Let’s Face The Music & Dance

There may be trouble ahead
But while theres music and moonlight (moonlight and music) and love and romance
Lets face the music and dance

Before the fiddlers have fled
Before they ask us to pay the bill, and while we still have that chance
Lets face the music and dance

Soon, well be without the moon
Humming a different tune - and then...

There may be teardrops to shed
So (but) while theres music and moonlight (moonlight and music) and love and romance
(lets face the music and dance, dance)
(lets face the music - lets here that music)
Lets face the music and dance

I did look at the website of the Morning show with Mike and Juliet, and it states that the show is broadcast live from a fox studio in NY.
Although, the website states broadcast live, I also sent them an email asking them to confirm that it is a live show, not one taped live and shown at a later time. I will post if I get a reply.

I think the confusion here is that it is broadcast live on the east coast, and taped for delayed showing in time zones to the west, but the same show is shown on the same day in all time zones. They just don't expect us west coast peeps to get up before the crack o' dawn to see it. Good call on their part. Apparently they know me.

Well, I just saw a promo about the "weight loss scams" segment, and a mention by Juliet at the very end of the show. Hmmmmmmm.............

ETA, Juliet put a lot of emphasis on the word "scams". If that tells you anything, it tells you that things are not looking good for the KK spokesholes.

No Elloise that is how I read it as well. That is why I said he didn't even consider the x factor of calories. The 10% fat of a 500 calorie diet (typical kimkins) would only be 50 calories or 5.56 grams.
But you know he is seems to be just trying to get his post quota in to get paid.

That pesky "Dr" Mark! Posting healthy crap and confusing the KK's when Trippy and Slingingass are too busy getting ready for their big tv debut to use their delete keys!!

"I'm ready for my closeup Mr deMIlle"

There will be plenty of time for editing, deleting and banning when they return from NY. If they have the nerve to show their face on the KK site after the flogging they will take on live tv.

Honey,

It does have a setting like Regis and Kelly, but it's more like the extra hour of the Today Show. They had a cooking segment today, but it's very informational. Do you ever see the FOX & Friends in the morning with Steve Duecy, Gretchen Carlson, and Brian Kilmeade? Mike and Juliet used to be anchors on that show before they created this sindicated show for them on the Fox Channel.

Mike and Juliet are VERY witty. Some of their questions and answers will go over TT's head so fast that she won't know what hit her. I can't even imagine she's going. She has no idea what she's getting into.

My brother and I run a family tire business. I have a little TV on my desk. Well, it picked yesterday afternoon to croak. Thank goodness because I brought one from my parents' house to work today. I'm prepared for the big event.

I had this post of a success story post from a "Member" that was posted on the forum. Does this sound like anyone we know?
Quote:
Good evening everyone,

My name is Derek. I have been a member here for a while now, but this is my first post. Due to recent attacks against this diet plan, I decided I should at least share my story. I began this plan early this year and lost the majority of the weight the first 4-5 months. I have since been at a steady 195lbs now for 6 months. The actually began this diet without weighing myself. Once I started noticing a big difference in my face and clothes, I purchased a new digital scale and it read excactly 300lbs. So unfortunately, I do not have a starting weight. My best guess would be that I weighed in the neighborhood of 320 or so, and have lost a total of about 125lbs. I began the plan wearing a size 50 mens pants, and now I fit comfortably in a 36. (I'm 6'2")

Like I said, I hit my goal weight of 195 back in april/may and have been able to maintain it ever since. I eat 2-3 times a day, or whenever I am hungry. I still try to keep my carbs low, and occasionally eat something I shouldn't. If I notice a couple pounds on the scale, I go right back on plan and it melts off in no time. I have not had any side effects what-so-ever. I have *never* starved myself and always eat a multivitamin every day. I haven't weighed this little since I was in middle school. I am attaching a before and after picture.
Then one of the guys asked...hey I have never seen you around..can you answer some questions like when did you start..etc...

Thinwithin:
I haven't participated in the forums before, that is why you haven't seen me. I do like to read the forums, but this was my first post. I will try to answer all of your questions.

My daily maintenance menu is very simple:

I rarely eat breakfast because I usually do not wake up hungry, but every once in a while I will cook up some egg beaters (actually it is safeways "best of the egg" but same thing) with either a couple slices of bacon or a peice of chorizo sausage. Lunch is usually a nice peice of chicken (marinated with McKormick grill mates) and a few pickle spears, or a can of tuna with a dollop of mayo, hot banana peppers and some other spices. For dinner, I usually fix a nice big salad with all of the fixins. This can include: onions, cucumbers, mushrooms, chicken, tuna, pepperoni, nuts (almonds and sunflower seeds), cheese, bacon, etc. I usually use a full fat ranch dressing, or oil and balsamic vinegar for dressing. It just depends on what I have and what I am hungry for. For drinks, I usually stick with crystal light or water. Every now and then I get some cherry coke zero.

Now, this is not "everything* I eat during the day. I always keep on hand a couple packs of lunchmeat, pickles, and hard boiled eggs for when I need a quick snack. I have a weakness for peanut butter and nuts so I do eat those at times, but I try to limit my portions. I eat when I am hungry but try my best to never feel completely full, because that is usually a sign of overeating. That was my main problem before I lost the weight, I would go to a chinese all you can eat buffet and just eat until I couldn't eat any more, probably consuming 5000 calories and not even knowing it.

My menu for when I was losing was not a whole lot different. I did stay away from the cheese, nuts and peanut butter as much as possible. After a week or two, I never really felt extremely hungry, even when I wouldn't eat all day. I did not miss the sweets, or chips, or all you can eat buffets. Sometimes I had to remind myself to grab something, just to keep my calories at a healthy level. I also made it a point to always eat a good multi-vitamin.

Sorry, but I don't have fitday. I work full time and attend classes full time, so I just didn't have the time. I began the diet at the beginning of this year, so the majority of my weight loss came off in about 4-5 months. I noticed you lived in northern virginia, as do I. I am in Herndon, how about you?

I know they have a formula for damages/awards. My daughter was hit while riding her bike and her attorney told her to keep track of all her bills, etc. because not only will the other party's insurance company have to pay the bills paid by her insurance company but they will also have to pay Rachel 4 to 5 times more personally + pain and suffering.
