Of course Tippy will be ambushed. This is a no brainer. We have the TRUTH on our side. No doctor in his right mind who allow a patient to eat 800 calories a day without constant medical supervision. And, that doesn't mean Dr. Mark. |

Personally, I prefer the Betty Boop rubber duck in the red dress. Sort of kills all the ducks with one stone!

it's like they are saying we are the enemy when all we have done is expose the truth and exposed the original kimkins as a fraud and potential health risk. News flash tippy. No one is after your job (no one is stupid enough to take it.) No one is after your money. I doubt there is much coming in at this point.
Helping people...yeah..good one. Changing everything to cover up the real plan by stealing from atkins is just sad. Don't people realize that we have lives and are only trying to save people from wasting their money and their health? It's called compassion Tippy. Look it up in the dictionary when you are thumbing through try to learn how to spell. I don't know what diet they are touting this week but it's not kimkins. |

I agree. But, I'll bet it's already been taken care of.

If I were Tippy, I'd probably take the free trip too. Especially since I doubt they will really "ambush" her. These shows rarely have enough time to get that deep into the topics, they are usually pretty superficial.
And the hosts are pretty tactful and I could see them accepting an answer of, "well we are taking the site in a whole new direction with the new managment," with every question about the controversy. And then a sales pitch for the "new" site. Especially with a time crunch. Don't get me wrong, I still think it is a good thing...but not as good as the KTLA news story.

Where are they getting their definition and spelling of -done the diet "successfully"? Show me a person who has lost a significant amount of weight on Kimkins, 10% of their body weight or greater, that doesn't have one of the following: 1- An inappropriate relationship with food in the form of fear of eating certain foods or adding calories into one's diet And/OR 2- New Health risks or negative health side-effects A healthy diet should not do either in my opinion. Much less be considered a success. One of the things success should not be defined as is solely a number on a scale! Quote:
Who knows? But when a comment is that confusing, I have to believe that it really is not saying anything of much importance!Quote:

Does anyone know if Cristin who was on the cover of WW has been told about this show? I sure would love to see her expose the truth about kk with trippytoes and her entourage there to answer the tough questions. Like who is Kimmer and why is she using fake pictures and what exactly is her criminal record.
Oh wait maybe Jerry Springer will pick up the scent. |

Here's an interesting little tidbit I picked up while reading the L.A. Times just now. The article had nothing to do with Kimmer, but I thought it was interesting, nonetheless:
"Punitive damages in California are designed to punish wrongdoers, and are generally considered to be capped at about 10 times actual damages." |

Not gonna happen.Even if they manage to do that (yeah right ), they're going to have a tough time defending the fraud that is a morbidly obese Heidikims claiming to have kept her weight down to 118 for the last several years, the banning of people who paid for lifetime memberships, and the e-page, I mean sorry excuse for an e-book.Then we get into the legalities of the Atkins name copyright infringement. Oh and then there's the thing of selling Atkins 72 and Stillmans as Kimkins, and selling Atkins as a "cycling" option. How in the world do they think they'll be able to defend this?! Simple answer short: They can't.

Re:? for Dr. Mark Day, 1 Hours ago The BASIC health diet that I recommend my patients, young and old, is as follows.
Proteins should make up around 45 percent of each meal, Fats about 10 percent Complex carbs should make up the rest. Stay away from the simple carbs/sugars as much as possible. Eat small and often - around every three hours....if you can get proteins w each meal that is great Do not eat until stuffed, just comfortable. For kids- milk, eggs, cheese, butter, etc are all great Do not let them fill up on liquids (juice, gatorade etc.) in place of food. Dont make them "clean their plate" but don't let them eat before 3 hours is up...the healthy food becomes much more appetizing when you are really hungry. Normal diet and activity are usually all a child needs. Hope this helps. Dr. Mark OK - Correct me if I'm wrong.... but, does this sound like Kimkins to you guys? (45% protein & 45% CARBS & 10% fats) I think Dr. Mark is playing a little game of CYA right here. Maybe he is a little nervous about his investigation? Hope Heidi didn't see this post, as I'd guess "Dr. Mark" might have the same fate as the Fitness Guru if he keeps this up. At least he doesn't mention keeping calories above 1200. I'm just saying.![]() |
