I thought the article was excellent! Going to local papers is an awesome idea, too. I am basically a gawker to all of this, but for those affected by the scam, you know how local papers and news stations LOVE to feature local folks affected by bigger issues, to bring it home, "make it real" and all that. JUST LIKE the story in the Corona paper - they picked up on it because the scam was hatched by a "Corona woman."

Now that it's been on KTLA and M&J, I imagine news outlets in every state where a Kimkins fraud victim lives would LOVE to link up to the story. Do we have a media person among us? Maybe somebody could work up a press release template and folks all over could use it to get local attention & tie-in to the national story.

ETA: On second thought, a press release should probably be left to the attorney for the plaintiffs in the lawsuit. But I would imagine local media contacts would still be a great idea, and an opportunity to provide the name & contact info for the plaintiffs' attorney so that any of the many who were scammed & are still "out there" will know what to do to join the class action suit.

I haven't found a website for that law firm which seems odd. No worries I won't contact them just curious. They are listed as family and corporate law in the yellow pages.

Whoa.....I did this and it places me no where near the city I live....It also says "Proxy Type: None / Highly Anonymous". Wonder if my Firewall is keeping my IP from showing thru?

Just to clarify. By me posting the attorney's business information was in no way a suggestion to anyone to do anything.
It was answering the previous questions or "who is representing Heidi" and "does she have representation".

I would think contacting Heidi's attorney would have no positive or negative purpose, so would be needless. In the same way that for anyone pro-kimkins contacting John would not be result in a change in the case unless it was kimmer or her staff which would then only add to the charges against them, depending on what type of contact we are talking about here.

I guess I am confused as to how exactly a person would hurt the pending case if they actually did contact her attorney? Of course PM me this if there is concern someone would act on those perceived fears, but I thought about it after reading the posts and I couldn't come up with anything. Now if we are talking about a threat, well, then that person has some issues and would have to face the legal ramifications on such an action. But if we are talking about someone calling asking for details on the case, well, that person is wasting their time, because they will not find anything out from a person's attorney.
SO, I am unclear on what harm could be done.
However, I am not saying to contact them, but I am not against sharing public information either.

Did you check out the information on the blog of Kimkins Exhausted? I put a link in my post. I am not sure what all was there but it may give you a better idea of what type of law they practice are and you can research cases they have handled in the past.
That was why I posted it for others to research for themselves, because I find that I am curious too and would like to know who would be going up against John in the court room.

I used to be, but I'm retired from that now. If I still lived in the market where I used to work (L.A.), I'd contact colleagues about this, but alas, I have no connections anymore.

Oddly enough, I thought the link you posted was for Kimkins Exhausted, and when I went there, the info posted on the attorney was QUITE enlightening, although I wasn't personally able to access any of the "cases" they handled.

When I went to Kimkins Exposed, all I saw was that nothing new has been updated since the revelation of the identity of "Kimmer" aka "The Lady in Red".

You are correct it was exhausted..I mistyped in my last post, but the link does correctly go to Kimkins Exhausted. The legal representation is on the side column. As far as cases they have handled that would require you to search by their names and see what you come up with....

I want to thank ALL of you for your prayers for my mom and family. I know they are being heard. The results of her MRI haven't come back yet, but the results of her lumbar puncture did...she has viral meningitis. It could be the meningitis that's causing her symptoms, or it could be she had a stroke, too (she had a brainstem stroke about 5 years ago, but recovered completely - she is a woman of strong faith!).

It's been one heckuva day. I'm going to crash. Must make it back to the hospital in the A.M bright and early, but I'll check the thread tomorrow evening when I get home.

I quite agree. I don't think she EVER lost the weight, at least enough weight to be anywhere remotely slim. Because if she had lost weight and become slim, she would have had and posted REAL photos of herself...she wouldn't have had to post a young Russian woman in a red dress and then claim that was her and she'd had to twist into hard-to-hold poses to get that picture made. She's always posted FAKE pictures of herself as slim because she's never had any real ones to show!!! JMO

I agree that her entire story of lost the weight, but I gained it back stinks of just a way to get away with her lies.
The pic that she used as her "before" pic here at LCF and her pic on the dating site, the blue sweater picture with the big dark glasses, is the smallest she has been in "recent" years. IMHO

ITA!! If she had any "real" thin pics, they'd have been plastered all over the place. She prefers to be a "private person" because she has so much to hide!

WW has received a lot of complaints about their actions in helping to build the Kimpire to what it is today. They still haven't come clean about it, and I wonder what their strategy is. It certainly isn't making them look very good.
